Much appreciated, that's a wonderful plan mate If you have made intentions about not selling coins for at least 2 years. I will say it is a great work now the situation is very worse and not sure where it will stop, Sometimes you need to take the risk and invest. I suggest you plan for buying coins at cheap prices and sell once the value Increases, If the market recover's then you can sell for a good price.

As much as I agree with your sentiments regarding the flaws of the fiat banking system, keeping all your funds in BTC or other crypto is a bad idea. You say you don't care if the price goes to 1 cent. If all your money is in BTC, I'd bet you would care quite a lot if you lost >99.999% of your net worth. Regardless of how "real" your 1 cent is, that's not going to pay your rent or buy your food.

Again, as much as I would like this to be the case, it simply isn't at the moment and won't be any time soon. As much as I would like to only use crypto, we have to use fiat for bills, food, gas, etc. Keeping a healthy exposure to crypto and various fiat investments is necessary for a secure future.

well good for you but i don't think you are doing the right thing by having "ALL" your savings in bitcoin. as long as humans were making investment, they were advised to diversify and also to invest what they can afford to lose not all their savings.

I can say this is rarely good headline, most of us should support and follow this guy example. Holding until we are able to use it directly for everything, that should be the goal for all of us who support crypto currencies. People shouldn't worry about this drop and to panic now when prices are going down, this is just temporary, crypto is here to stay and people should have some safe place for keeping crypto, at least some of it, and to hold it for future, have fun with the rest but always have something in saving and I agree with op that's better to save crypto than fiat in banks.

Thank you for writing this. During these hard times we need to see that there are people out there who still believe in bitcoin. I agree that banks are terrible ad keep charging people for no reason, but I find it hard to stay calm when btc is falling so much. I've been saving money in btc for a while and so I lost quite a big sum because of the recent drop. I would still use bitcoin whatever the price is, but if the price keeps goin down, I don't want to lose all of my investments. Yes, banks are terrible, but fiat is stable and this is kind of important. I had 1k in December last year and decided to hold it. As you can guess that $1k became some $300 pretty fast... I really wish bitcoin wasn't like that. It's okay if it doesn't grow, but it should stop falling and at least reach some nice $15k level and stabilize there.

What will you do if the price goes down more? I understand your love to Bitcoin but no one knows what will happen in the future, nobody guarantees that the price will not fall further. Another possibility is that Bitcoin will be replaced by another digital currency. So you should see these as a possibility and invest Bitcoin as much as you can afford to lose and diversify remaining portion of your portfolio among some investment sectors according to their risks.

Nowadays the innovations change the whole systems in surprisingly short terms. I`m not sure if You can remember the old corded phones with analog dial-up. Actually the first broad commercial use of the mobile phones started somewhen between 1998-2000. And where we are now? For less than 20 years we use ONLY mobiles. I won`t even talk about the smartphones. We are rather too late with BTC and the reason is mainly by the fiat-master`s FUD.

Yes, I do understand You very well but I think that the point to stay calm is the point of view we have about BTC. It is NOT (only) an investment as it`s trendable to be figured out last couple of years. The smartphone is NOT (only) a cordless phone. It`s much more. BTC is Money 2.0+ and I mean real money. You can keep calm all the time when You know it is INEVITABLE. When the first internet connection was estabilished, it was already INEVITABLE to be mass adobted. It was just a question of time. Because it was an innovation;  because it was an improvement;  because it made the things better and easier (communication, information, connections, freedom... ). BTC is the same. I couldn`t even count all the things it makes easier, clearer and much more better. And it is INEVITABLE. You take a very big risk, I suggest you to sell now then buy it again when the price reach the peak of price down so you can own more bitcoin at that point you can hold your bitcoin until a few years then you could use your profit that you will get to buy any thing you want. That is a really strong determination that you have there, and you know what it is the most interesting thing about it? Hey I understand that currently bitcoins prices are falling, and you're worried of the possibilities of bitcoins prices crashing even further than the current levels. While I do not believe that bitcoins prices willl ever touch one cents again, but if it were I'll yet hodl it cause I believe in the technology and that it'll succeed. Bitcoin price will not fall to $1 again, if in this negative trend of bitcoin market have chance to make bitcoin price reach $1 then I will buy bitcoin as many as I can because it is actually really worth, people will use this as medium of exchange in online store or offline store. I don't think this is the right way. It is still your money. If bitcoin would have a county where the money is stable and not volatile it can be an all 100% of my savings bet! You should care about the price. How can you buy something without minding the price of Bitcoin? You can spend it on a wider range of products if the price is high, value means a lot. Yes, blockchain transactions are more secured, your tokens/coins are also much secured (in terms of breaches and possible hacking) compared to banks, but the value is not secured. But the world is still on its way to the adoption of blockchain. The future value of bitcoin is not guaranteed but the adoption of blockchain technology will surely happen.

well good for you but i don't think you are doing the right thing by having "ALL" your savings in bitcoin. as long as humans were making investment, they were advised to diversify and also to invest what they can afford to lose not all their savings.

As much as I agree with your sentiments regarding the flaws of the fiat banking system, keeping all your funds in BTC or other crypto is a bad idea. You say you don't care if the price goes to 1 cent. If all your money is in BTC, I'd bet you would care quite a lot if you lost >99.999% of your net worth. Regardless of how "real" your 1 cent is, that's not going to pay your rent or buy your food.

I agree with you because of the volatile nature of Crypto Currencies it's kinda high-risk to store a huge amount of money in crypto's but it will be a different matter if it is stored in a stable coin like Tether/USDT because it is backed by real US dollars. Storing money and Investing money in Crypto Currencies are different because storing money is keeping its value to what it is when you stored it an Investing your money on Crypto Currencies will depend the value on the volatile movement of that particular crypto that you invested, you could gain with it or you could lose with it.

Again, as much as I would like this to be the case, it simply isn't at the moment and won't be any time soon. As much as I would like to only use crypto, we have to use fiat for bills, food, gas, etc. Keeping a healthy exposure to crypto and various fiat investments is necessary for a secure future.

Definitely, Fiat is the main pair of Crypto Currencies such as Bitcoin and without fiat, I don't think how will Bitcoin or other crypto's have a value at all. A volatile currency should be paired with a stable currency to make a healthy market and lure traders from this kind of industry.

Its a nice idea to hold bitcoin but I totally disagree with your opinion of holding even when the price is going to $1 its better to sell high and keep operating on blockchain than losing your funds. Is not a bad idea saving your assets on centralized system but I believe its more profitable when its kept in decentralized system so no need to discriminate one for other.

Every crypto user choose an option which benefits but very few feels to be branded investors but when the value is falling down its brand value is also gone so the popularity turns zero with new trend in the market so there should be some assurance how the flow will continue.

Holding a coin for long term is still good strategy to earn profit and I still prefer it also. The bearish market might have prolonged downtrend but it will not go down forever. If you have guts to hold your bitcoin in a long time, then you should not withdraw it. I also prefer to store my money in bitcoins than in banks because I now that I can beat inflation through storing my money on bitcoins than in bank.

Verry well said  .  putting your eggs in one basket is not a good idea ( as the saying said )  but if you are doing it in bitcoin , i guess there is nothing wrong it it  because bitcoin is a guarantee that can give you a huge return as long as you have a patience to wait .

I am looking to get a Wirex card so I can get cash back at least on my grocery shopping. As much as I agree with your sentiments regarding the flaws of the fiat banking system, keeping all your funds in BTC or other crypto is a bad idea. You say you don't care if the price goes to 1 cent. If all your money is in BTC, I'd bet you would care quite a lot if you lost >99.999% of your net worth. Regardless of how "real" your 1 cent is, that's not going to pay your rent or buy your food.

Again, as much as I would like this to be the case, it simply isn't at the moment and won't be any time soon. As much as I would like to only use crypto, we have to use fiat for bills, food, gas, etc. Keeping a healthy exposure to crypto and various fiat investments is necessary for a secure future.
