Our servers have been compromised and we'll shut everything down until it can get fixed. We hope to be back soon with a better system. Thanks to everyone that has been mining with us.

For renters with a BTC balance, send a PM with your deposit address, password and a return BTC address.

wow ... and i was actually joking about a server rebuild ...

we hope its not too long that you come back with a better system ...

very much appreciated for the update ...

Hello.

I found it in twitter account.

YAAMP
YAAMP ‏@YAAMP1
Server maintenance.

https://mobile.twitter.com/yaamp1

It is very strange.

Regards.
Antuam.

tanx for that ...

found it on their twitter account also ...

server maintenance - or server rebuild Wink ... hehehe ...

https://twitter.com/YAAMP1 ...

#crysx

I was just about to post the following when yaamp's reply came in.
If they do come back with a better system all will be forgiven.

---

The way they posted a maintenance message with no estimated return to service
time and no updates a full day later is not encouraging.

Wafflepool vanished  under similar circumstances. They posted a maintenance message
and never came back.

This is indeed a sad turn of events. Despite the recent instability, my overall experience with YAAMP has been largely positive, replacing and improving on TradeMyBit's experience since that shut down. It's going to hurt not having a second pool with an API, and I really do hope that YAAMP makes a return.

Thanks for the hard work YAAMP, and hope to see you back soon.

I feel like I should chime in to mention that despite all the recent reliability issues on the pool, I never encountered any issues regarding payouts; if I was over the threshold for receiving a payout, it would go through whenever YAAMP did payouts. It seems that a lot of the posted issues regarding payouts also involved assorted obscure coins, which I'm guessing YAAMP didn't mine enough of to payout properly sometimes; getting paid in BTC seemed to work perfectly fine to me. Things may have gone wonky and blown up for whatever reason, but at no point did I ever feel that YAAMP had, "robbed", me by screwing with my balance.

if you get more almost doubled
if directly mining DGB ...
then what is it?
confusion?
 some of the problems? ))

what he is trying to say ( and i must agree with him ) is that yaamp has never 'robbed' anyone of their payments - at least to anyones knowledge anyway ...

if you ( arsenay ) are saying that yaamps FEES are 'robbery' - then that is your opinion and you are entitled to your opinion as everyone else is ...

but you seem to overlook the fact that if one is unhappy with mining at one place due to 'fees' being 'robbery' - then YOU have the choice of mining elsewhere ...

or mine the coins directly on another pool ...

its really that simple ...

our farm mines on many pools ...

westhash / nicehash and coinking.io and blackcoinpool - just to name a few ...

when ( or if ) yaamp comes back - we will be mining on yaamp again ...

its just a matter of asking or looking around ...

we hope that yaamp will not be down for long - or for ever ...

We hope that we can come back sooner or later. It's just that we'll have to find some time to go back at programming and testing to make our system more secure. Yeah, we've been hacked and im sure that wasnt much of a challenge. We're learning.

On a site whose goal is making money, security should be the main concern. On all sites it should be, IMHO.
It should open after at least a penetration test and a security audit.
