L3+ will not connect to litecoinpool 3443 stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3443
I receive the following kernel log error: unable to resolve host. But it connects no problem to 3333 Any ideas?
hi, my 2 l3+ are configured on port 3333 and work without problem (stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333) Do you have any reason to use port 3443?

i think the only reason for having different ports is just if you got that port blocked by your internet provider you can swap port and continue mining

Hi, I have a confusion or doubt with the statistics, I have 2 l3+ mining with litecoinpool, in theory my contribution is 1000MH/s. in statistics I always see what I should do 0.1 LTC/d, of course I can not see the next number, it would be clearer if the statistics showed me 0.1x for example, Is there any way to see more accurately the projected earnings per day?
The number on the Stats page is just for rough comparison with the Top 30. If you want to know how much you've made in the last 24 hours, see the "Past 24 hours Rewards" on your account page. If you want to estimate your earnings for the future, use the Calc. L3+ will not connect to litecoinpool 3443 stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3443 I receive the following kernel log error: unable to resolve host. But it connects no problem to 3333 Any ideas?
Port 3443 is for Stratum over TLS. As far as I know, Antminers do not support this. is anyone else getting slow hashrate on this pool ? my BFGminer shows 290 but im only getting around 250, been like that the last 2-3 days , had a steady 288-290 avareage before that

Jacktgns, I just had a look at your worker charts, and I see no difference in hash rate between now and two weeks ago. If you're talking about the "current" speed, it is always subject to fluctuations, as explained in the FAQ. I cannot check tommy1033's account because I do not know his username.

If you want to estimate your earnings for the future, use the Calc. I think he's asking for something like 'Projected Rewards': https://i.imgur.com/ycjsjhV.png(excuse the green on black, I prefer a dark colour scheme). Projected Rewards is what the expected payout will be at the end of 24 hours, using the average since last paid out (and payout set to 24 hours, not in multiples of the payout threshold). I have a greasemonkey script that updates the value for me, but it requires knowing the payout time (hardcoded in at the moment, 22:05 for me). Past 24 hours Rewards is a pretty close indicator, though. .. I should probably switch it over to keeping track of shares per hour, and then multiply that by the PPS, so it will track over difficulty changes...

ok, thanks for the clarification, there are about 2 or 3 hours where I change to prohashing because I wanted to test the effectiveness of my miners and compare with litecoinpool

Antminer L3+ unable to establish Support for Stratum over SSL/TLS.
My kernel log reports unable to resolve host on 3443 when configured like this stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3443
When configured like this stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3333 it connects no problem.
Any help is much appreciated!

Antminer L3+ unable to establish Support for Stratum over SSL/TLS.
As far as I know, the stock firmware of Antminers does not support Stratum over TLS.

Hi Guys, I would like to have a question. I am thinking about purchasing one more AntMiner L3+ but I am afraid of earning decrease once the March batch will be released of L3's by Bitmain. Can you please share your opinion/vision/experience on how big is the decrease in the earning (lets say of one L3 miner) once the batch has been released and the miners come online? Or the decrease is not that significant that you could sense it? Many thanks in advance for your feedback.

This question doesn't really belong here, but it is a telling sign that since the last 4 weeks alone the difficulty has jumped a factor 2.5 (!) ( https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/litecoin-difficulty.html#3m) Right now you would earn 2LTC/mo or ca 500$/mo. That's still not bad (before december, if you held on to the coins, would have earned 1250$/mo!, that's why it is so important to come in as early as possible). But by end march that could easily have dropped to halve or less, and then it depends on where LTC goes, it if halves too, then go figure, it may take a loooong time to recoup the cost. Of course, if LTC goes to 1000$ then that would help a lot. Note that difficulty also swings with the price as some big miners move in/out depending on profitability.

Just an aside..... www.litecoinpool.org...is run out of the United Kingdom correct? I mean the owner pooler and if there is a 'source of operations' outside of various server locations, that would be it? Curious. (Likely, I'm completely off on this) Brad

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/19. It also works with Windows 10 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine! Five Minute Install! Look it over uninstalls just as fast! Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Thanks very much for the opinion. The charts are really helpfull in order to make my decision, I wasn't aware of this site.

(Likely, I'm completely off on this) We're actually two people running the pool. My business partner is in the US and I'm in Europe. The time difference is quite convenient for managing a 24/7 service.
