I am impressed with the performance of the Srilankan girls. I was surprised to see South Africa and Kiwis struggling in this tournament. Indian will be playing against England in the next match and Srilanka will be playing against Australia in their next. Two out of these four teams would be struggling to cement their position in the semifinals.

I agree with you. The contribution of foreign players in the Sylhet Sixers team was very less. Among Ryan Burl, Perera, George Linde, and Luke Wood, only Perera's performance was somewhat decent. Also, the rest of the foreign players did not perform well. However, Linde bowled well in the final match. He gave only 14 runs in 4 overs. But he could not bat well.

Mushfiqur and Shanto's performances were remarkable in almost every match of Sylhet. At the same time, I will appreciate Mashrafe's captaincy. He is a really good captain.

Comilla's team was very strong. Liton Das was in good form throughout the series. Comilla fielded three world-renowned all-rounders like Narine, Moeen Ali, and Russel. Besides Johnson Charles' unbeaten innings of 79 runs in the final, the Comilla team became champions.

As mentioned by many of the posters, this season of the Bangladesh Premier League was dominated by the foreign players. In the batting department the best performers were Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Johnson Charles, while bowling was dominated by Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Azmatullah Omarzai. And also, this time the tournament was plagued by a lot of controversies, including those related to umpiring. The BCB has taken this league for granted. They need to revamp the competition, before it gets too late.

Yesterday it was a close match. But sill, Ireland has lost all their matches till now. It would be so disappointing for them, because they have a very good domestic setup back home for the women. Ireland is one of the test nations now, and receives higher allocation of funds from the ICC. So therefore, fans naturally have higher expectations from the Irish cricketers. They need to win matches regularly, to justify their test status. And it has been 4 years since they got elevated to being a full member of the ICC.
