I was actually a little surprised to see the performance of the Bangladesh women's team. I did not think that I am going to see this type of performance from Bangladesh under 19 women. At the same time, this shows how much the team can do well if they are nurtured properly.

Surprisingly Bangladesh's under-19 setup looks very promising in comparison to the senior team, be it Men's or Women's cricket.

Bangladesh U-19 Women's Cricket put on a brilliant performance. Although they failed to make the semi-finals (due to a lower net run rate), they claimed third place in their tournament. A World Cup trophy was lifted by our U-19 Men's team three years ago. Bangladeshi fans were hopeful for the young Tigresses after a promising start! It is safe to predict a bright future for Bangladesh Women's Cricket.

In recent times, I remember one dramatic instance when our Indian Men's u-19 team lost to Bangladesh u-19 team.

It was brutal, we were favorites to win the ODI WC but Bongs came out of the syllabus tbh and won the close battle, followed by shitty behavior from the Bongs under-19 team, which was recorded on cams, unofficial reports said that it was communal shit ( win over kafirs/Hindus remarks and etc)

South Africa Women's team played well against West Indies Women's team today in the tri-nation series. Batting first, West Indies set a target of just 98 runs in 20 overs. It was not enough to win the T20 format. They lost only 6 wickets. But the batsmen of West Indies batted very slowly. On the other hand, South African women's team did not face any problems to cross the target of 98 runs. They collected 98 runs very easily. And South Africa won the match without losing any wickets. Openar Tazmin Brits scored 50 runs off 43 balls.

In this match, the top order batsmen of the West Indies women team have been completely defeated. The first 4 batsmen have been able to score only 17 runs together. If there Shabika Gajnabi and Hayley Matthews ware not able to score, then the situation in the West Indies Women would have been even worse. When the opponent West Indies finished with a small score, South Africa won the match without losing any wickets that is really tremendous performance for South Africa Women.

This is a huge step for promoting women cricket in Asia specially and bringing them to level with men cricket.  Good achievement by BCCI,  business in India has always been very promising and this huge amount is the proof of that Indians can make possible anything with use of power and money.

This is seriously amazing and I do agree that it will help promote women's cricket to a much wider audience around the world helping them flourish, but stating that Indians can do anything with power and money is downright silly.

If that were actually true, India would have been a developed country and their cities would look like London, New York, Beijing etc, but that clearly didn't happen thanks to crazy corrupt politicians, businessmen etc.

The BCCI should have introduced the WPL a long time ago, but they didn't because of their greed and stupidity.

And the South African women took advantage of this very easily as they chased down their target of 98 in just 13.4 overs without losing a single wicket. And I would say that they gave a low score target because of such poor batting at the beginning of the innings. Batting like this, they will not be able to win any match in this series.

The issues plaguing West Indies men's team seems to be applicable for the women's team as well. They perform well as long as they play franchise T20 cricket. But the moment they start playing internationals, they lose their matches by huge margins. BTW, now the West Indian dominance in franchise leagues is also winding down. At one point, players such as Gayle, Narine, Russell, Pollard, Sammy and Bravo used to dominate the leagues. Among the younger generation, only Pooran and Lewis are performing well.

You are mixing the senior team with the u19s teams.

In Men u19 WC, India has a tremendous record, since the 2000s they have won 5 WC and runner up in 3 editions and as of now, they are defending champion (2022).

for all Women's u19s teams, this T-20 WC is the first edition.

England has so far won all of their matches (including a few wins by margins of more than 100 runs). I am not claiming that India is not that weak. On the same track where Pakistan found it really hard to score, Australia was scoring like it was really easy. The player of the match was Megan but I thought Ellyse Perry was supposed to be the player of the match. Probably because it was a 5 wickets performance from Megan.

West Indies is a very familiar name in T20 cricket. But gradually this country has become quite weak in cricket. The West Indies women's team won the T20 World Cup in 2016 ‍and they have not won since then. In any of the male and female cricket, their position is not in a good stage. Once a time the West Indies player was the best but gradually their cricket was left behind.  West Indies need new and good cricketers who can lead the world cricket with their teams again. But gradually their cricket is far behind.
