The second major ICC tournament of this year will start by next week. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup will witness the participation from 10 countries, and will be played in South Africa from 10th to 26th February 2023 (the same venue where U-19 Women's world cup was held a few weeks back). India and Australia are the favorites to win the trophy this time, with England and South Africa also in contention. Bangladesh and Ireland have progressed from the qualifier tournament (which saw participation from 8 teams).

Ten teams and same pattern look like we are not going to have any changes in this world cup as well because from these two pools Australia, New Zealand and then England and India will be in last four others will be suffered badly against the quality of these big-4 because no other country is having better domestic set up for the women's cricket just few are now on the way for the better future but it's never been easy and also time-consuming as well.

But I am happy now we have ICC-19 women's event which is surely going to help them for increasing quality and brining better players from early ages as well in group a with New Zealand and South Africa we can expect some fight otherwise things are not good for having any good entertainment.

I used to watch BPL matches 4/5 years ago. Bangladesh has a large population. And a large section of them loves cricket. And so the BPL matches a few years ago were very crowded. There were many visitors. World star players could be seen. And the management was very good. But this year's BPL is not crowded. Can't see star players. The attendance at the stadium is very low. It also lost more popularity due to various controversies. BCB should take appropriate steps and try to increase the popularity of BPL.

Schedule is the problem. Since it is being staged in January-February, there is an overlap with the other franchise leagues and therefore most of the international players are unavailable. But then, Bangladesh is a country that is heavily impacted by Monsoon rains. There is only a small window when the BPL can be played. January is the driest month, followed by December and February. In December there is an overlap with the BBL. If they schedule for November-December, then chances are that at least a few matches will be lost to rain. But I guess that is a risk that they should be willing to take.

Here I agreed with you their domestic weather is the biggest issue with their staged is also not suitable, but sadly they can't change this all which is another problem for them with their cricketing system is also not well professional which can bring changes for better performance and improvement in quality in domestic setup many aspects happening in this region just India is enjoying good environment for this all others are suffering due to many issues which are not related to cricket as well Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh all are on same boat and main issue is these all can't do any positive things with mutual understanding as well as we have in European countries which is also issued for them.

Dhaka Dominators managed to collect only 130 runs. The first three players in the top order had a total of just 10 runs. It is very difficult to collect big if the top order does not play well. I would like to agreeing with you at this point about the performance of Dhaka dominators that the performance as expected from Dhaka dominators, has seen the opposite on the field in this BPL season.
However, two wins against Barisal Team and Khulna Tigers have taken them some distance from that spot towards the last.  And currently Chittagong Challengers and Khulna Tigers are in that position.  Still, I don't think Dhaka dominators have any benefit here.

Honestly, I am not very interested in women's cricket. I am interested in the men's ODI world cup coming up this year. Call me and misogynist, but I do not think women's sports are interesting in general at all. In cricket, we already have a lot of cricket boards that are not very rich. That's why they are not able to produce a good team even though I think they have a lot of talent in the country. And meanwhile, we have women's cricket, which is hardly generating any revenue. Correct me if I am wrong, but I honestly do not think the ICC is getting any revenue from women's cricket. And that is probably a big reason why there is so much pressure being created for the BCCI to hold women's IPL. And that is also probably the reason why BCCI did not want to arrange women's IPL in the first place.

The Victorians have played a total of ten matches in Comilla so far, losing the first three and winning the remaining seven consecutively. One has to be surprised by the winning streak of Comilla Victorians, is Comilla Victorians going to be champions again in this year's BPL.

This is sad reality of this world that no matter how much women have achieved they'll not get equal positions and place as men and same is happening in cricket . The big 3 or bog 4 who have developed women cricket and whose league we have been following will continue to grow like this but the countries who don't have developed women cricket will remain like that.  Just the case with Afghanistan making  a women cricket team is kind of impossible for them right now.

I think it's pretty evident now that Gill is the next big thing for India in cricket, we have got the number 1 choice of opener with Rohit Sharma, probably Ishan Kishan can fill the position once Rohit retires. I am just hoping gill performs similarly in test cricket as well because if he does one can say he is the next Indian prodigy. But I will be much more confident about him once he scores with similar potential on foreign pitches as well. Also this clearly shows that how he can change gears while he is batting.

Kishan won't get many chances in the national team due to his performances and rightly so.

The jury is still out on Gill as far as T-20 is concerned (he already proved himself in other formats), he played beautifully today but it's pretty rare if we look at his T-20 (including IPL) PP's record, he's one of the worst openers in Indian T-20 history, along with KL Rahul.

After observing some matches of the Big Bash League 2022-23, many people may have thought that Sydney Sixers will be the champions of the Big Bash League, but that picture has completely changed. Sydney Sixers failed to qualify in the final and eliminated from the tournament after losing to Brisbane Heat. Perth Scorchers on the other hand reached that desired goal. What I meant to say is that there is no dependent obvious choice opener like Rohit Sharma is in India right now. Obviously there are lot of openers that India has every season you see new openers cinh up even Rishab pant and KL Rahul can come as openers but what I meant was a dependeable obvious choice opener and GIll could probably become that good to be the obvious choice of everyone.
