The domestic leagues in India are much better. Then all the players get a chance to play brilliantly. From those leagues, the selectors of the Indian team look for good players for the national team. This is how India became a powerful team.

I disagree with this argument. Domestic cricket in India still lags behind similar tournaments in other countries. If you look at Ranji Trophy, the quality is not the same as Sheffield Shield competition in Australia or the county championship in England. Even the Plunket Shield of New Zealand, Shell Shield of West Indies and Currie Cup of South Africa are of higher quality. In India, there are too many teams playing in the domestic tournament (38 first class teams) and this results in a dilution of quality. And this is one of the reason why top performers in domestic cricket such a Sarfraz Khan and Mukesh Kumar hardly gets any opportunity to represent the senior side.

In today's T20I match, India vs New Zealand match is going to start in a short time. Meanwhile Shubman Gill is the opening batsman on the other hand it would be best to have Ishan Kisan.  Once their pair survives, India's chances of victory in today's T20 match are high, while New Zealand can't survive with India.  We have seen some games in the past where New Zealand have lost by huge margins so it remains to be seen what New Zealand can do in today's match.  New Zealand must be most careful on the wicket side and put in a good bowling performance if they want to progress.

T20 is entirely different from ODI and due to the shortened duration it gives more chances to the underdogs to perform upsets. So India should be more cautious this time around. Also, in T20 format, toss plays an important role. Once again, the pitch at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi is likely to favor the batsmen. So the team winning the toss will be at an advantage. BTW, Benjamin Lister is going to make his debut for New Zealand today. He is a left-arm seamer who has performed well in New Zealand domestic cricket (especially in the Super Smash T20 tournament).

The unbeaten run of Hardik Pandya in Ranchi can continue? There are a lot of talented and aggressive players in the Indian team. It may be possible for them to defeat a depleted NZ side. We can expect a good and even contest. The two teams are evenly matched. We are missing the big guns. However, the young one is going to fight it out. In T20 matches, key moments are often determined by bowling or hitting the winning run. I'm interested in seeing which batsman gets the lights because it's likely to favor the batsmen.

T20 captain Hardik Pandya has already announced that Shubman Gill will open in today's match. But who will open with him is not sure yet. A few have been included in today's match. Jitesh Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Prithibi Shaw Among these three, Mukesh Kumar is mainly bowling, among these two people, Jitesh Sharma and Prithvi Shaw, will anyone get a chance to open?

Mukesh Kumar performed exceptionally well in the domestic circuit, but I don't know whether he will be given a chance as long as Rohit-Virat-Hardick combination remains in control of team selection. There is no dearth of talent in pace bowling for India at this point. But getting the selection to playing XI is a tough task, given the fact that the senior players have a strong preference for certain players. And the indications are that Ishan Kishan may open the batting along with Shubman Gill. Prithvi Shaw may not be a part of the XI for today's match. 

As long as the senior and experienced players are in good form, no new players will be given a place in the squad. Indian management has always given more priority to experience. We have seen that Virat Kohli was with the Indian squad in the World Cup despite Deerg not being in good form for a few years. Mukesh Kumar is probably a good bowler. But still, the performance of the bowlers in the Indian squad is better. If a bowler is injured or out of form for a long time then maybe Mukesh Kumar will be able to cement his place in the Indian squad.

I think India is always going to prefer experience, especially if it comes to any big tournament like the world cup. Because India knows very well that when it comes to the big occasions, the experienced players will be able to hold on to their nerve. Experience is going to save them in pressure situations. An inexperienced player is more likely to crumble under pressure. But it's not like India is not giving the young players a chance because they do not have good players in the pipeline. They are just feeling safer with the experienced players. And once the experience is not going to be of any use because the performance will drop, the young players are secondly going to be given chances.

Well... I have to disagree with you here. Bilateral tours represent a good opportunity for the BCCI to do some experimentation. They can rest some of their senior players and give opportunities for the younger ones. What is the point in including players such as Rohit and Shami for a series against New Zealand, that will be played on the flat tracks of India? They need to test the younger players before the ODI World Cup starts, and this is an ideal opportunity. And they need to do this, since the BCCI is no longer interested in scheduling India A and India U-23 tours.

If they are able to do that then they have a chance of entering the finals. It won't be that easy to defeat the Kiwis as they have not yet lost a single match in this tournament.

The first semifinal turns out to be a very one sided affair.

Indian girls first dominated the kiwis with the ball and now are in hurry to chase down a mediocre target of 109.

Just need 13 runs and they are through finals without breaking a sweat. WPL franchise must be looking at Shweta Sehrawat, so far the top run-scorer in this WC.

And India women team crossed it in just 14 overs India has really occupied a big place in the game of cricket where both men team and women team of India are performing great and they are being called king of cricket all over the world.

Excellent batting performance by Indian women ,they not just chased the target they chased it quickly in 14 overs 110 runs with only 2 fall of wickets . This is brilliant,  Newzealand struggled with batting and as a result their balling went totally wrong and they lost the match .
Well done U19 Indian women and congratulations for qualifying to finals .

There are a lot of talented and aggressive players in the Indian team. It may be possible for them to defeat a depleted NZ side. We can expect a good and even contest. The two teams are evenly matched.

When India toured New Zeeland, last year after T20 worldcup, India managed to win the rain interrupted series under skipper Hardik Pandya now India is facing them in their home soil hence I am not expecting any different result. But, T20 matches are highly oscillating one based one particular player's on that day performance. So, I am not placing any bet for this match even I speculate India is going to be clinch this series 3-0.

No country facilitates their u23 or XYZ (A) tours during their home season so BCCI is not an exception here.

All Boards prefer these tours during off seasons due to various reasons, for ex: they prefer every player to play in domestic during home seasons. It's true for County, Ranji or Shield tournaments.

Soumya Tiwari was dismissed with 22 runs off 26 balls.

Indian chose to field because they know they can easily compete any big target , just they have to focus on their bowling side in which they did good . After 16 overs Newzealand is on 131 runs  with 3 wickets gone , this is good performance by them but for India this is a really easy target .
All now newZealand can do is to focus on their bowling to win this match.

Does not look so as India have managed to restrict the Indian total to 176 runs. These runs are not less but at the same time it is not such a score which is not chaseable. Not to mention at India conceded 27 runs in the last over by Arshdeep. This could be the turning point of this match.

I think Indian team were on top for the entire first innings but the last over changed the momentum completely. How strange is that a six on a No Ball, changes the complexion of the match completely. India will need to play well as the run rate required is just under 9 runs per over.
