Viacom18 has won the media rights to WIPL for the 2023-27 period, and their bid is worth $116.8 million (₹951 crores). This represents a valuation of $0.87 million per match for the WIPL, which is much higher than what the BCCI was expecting. The ongoing ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup 2022/23 has witnessed a rare incident. Yesterday there was a match between the UAE U-19 women's team and the Scotland U-19 women's team. All the 11 players in the UAE team were Indian citizens. I believe that this is the first time in the history of ICC that all the players in one of the "national" teams is represented by another nation. Also, all the 11 players in the US team (in the match against Sri Lanka) were of Indian origin, but a majority of them were citizens of the United States.

LOL! The complete team for both these countries are of Indian origin. I can understand about US but UAE should have gone for players from other countries like Pakistan l, Srilanka, Bangladesh or from UK, SA & AUS. When they are buying players from the market they should have diversified it. I guess the coach and the team management might be also of Indian origin or BCCI might have some kind of contract of supplying players to the UAE board.

Even I have feeling allowing UAE with this team is surely not fair because they have no structure or facility but still if this all happening under umbrella of ICC mean things are not fair and balanced for the game, and it's surely hurting the cause of this game for having the good number of teams in near future.

But, I am happy we have five Asian teams which are having native players and things looking good and positive for the game and Africa is also good as they are also having the good number of teams even we are missing countries like Kenya and Namibia which needs good time for having better facilities and development for the game all others are same as we have in Sr teams, but recently USA is also doing good things for the cricket hopefully they could be also on good note in near future.

Bangladesh Premier League 13th Match has started today. Dhaka Dominators vs Sylhet Strikers these two teams participated in the game today. Dhaka Dominators won the toss and came to bat. Scored 106 runs in 17 overs. But so far Dhaka Dominators have lost 5 wickets. Sylhet  Strikers have started to perform well. It seems that the batsmen of Dhaka Dominators are under a lot of pressure.

In the end, it was actually an easy way for Zimbabwe. They won this match with one over left and also by 4 wickets. Actually, I do not think that it was a bad performance from Ireland. I think they did decently enough in this match. But a little more was expected from them when they knew that it was going to be the decider of this series. I believe if Ireland could get at least 15 more, they would have been in for a chance to win this series. And if Ireland could win this series, once again they could have been in the spotlight. Ireland is actually performing well recently.

But they are not being able to win any series against opponents like Zimbabwe and they are also not being able to win against bigger opponents like India at all even though they are performing quite competitively. That's why people are not talking about them.

Currently, both teams are under development but things looking much better for the Zimbabwe because they are rebuilding their side after long time and have positive results which will help them for having good view for the near future Ireland is also doing good as they lost few legendary players recently but still have strong connections in English counties which are giving them good players and experience hopefully these two countries will keep momentum, and we will be able to have improved quality and performance in cricket in near future.

Now, it's good time for these two teams to play as many matches because many other big teams are also having young players as their target is t20i World Cup2024 so preparing for this from now surely give good time and practice for having better results.

This was really one of the most entertaining match I have watch in BBL this season with once 160 runs targets was looking match winning for Melbourne Stars but Brisbane heat batting lineup specially Matt Renshaw done amazing job until last ball and win the match for his team after arrival of Australian national team members things are interested while today Brisbane Heat chasing this target losing wickets regularly keeps things in favour of Melbourne Stars but Matt Renshaw's 90 runs from 56 balls give them second successive win even right now they are still seventh spot and have not good chance for the reaching into play-offs, but performance is having good chance, and they are giving their best for having better results until end of this season.

WIPL media right per game sold at INR 7.5Cr to VIACOM18 which means JIO TV would be streaming it for free on its apps. I never thought that I would compare the media right of a women league tournament with men's league tournament. PLS per game media right is just INR 4.5Cr. This is very big considering WIPL has not yet started. If WIPL is able to generate good viewership in the next 5 years then I am sure it would become one of the biggest league  sports for women. BCCI has done a great job in uplifting women cricket. Now a lot young girls will dream of becoming a cricketer.

Melbourne Stars vs Brisbane Heat, 44th Match, Melbourne Stars set a target of 159 runs. Melbourne Stars playing well but one wicket would be the big barrier for them to win the match.  Brisbane Heat almost lost the match as  they needed a boundary in the last ball which was not easy. Most of the viewers thought that Brisbane Heat at that point may defeated but Matt Renshaw able to use this  last ball by boundary. It was really a fantastic match. He remained unbeaten with 90 runs off 56 ball.

Imad Asim played a great ball for Sylhet.  Imad Asim collected 3 wickets for just 20 runs. Nazmul Islam Md Amir and Rubel Hossain also took 1 wicket each. Thanks and congratulations to Bangladesh boss Mashrafe Bin Mortaza for Sylhet team winning all 5 matches.

By this match Sylhet strikers confirmed their fifth match and standing on top in the point table of BPL with 10 point. In this Season of BPL the performance of Sylhet strikers is always suitable to go ahead from the beginning. Seeing as they have experienced players like Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Harish ,Thisara Perera  and a good captain like Mashrafe Bin Murtaza to guide their team, I think their win was already confirmed. And I also think that Sylhet Strikers have a chance to become champions of this year's BPL even if Mashrafe Bin Mortaza's team is looking good.

Anyhow 1000 crore is a big sum compared to the media rights of Big Bash League, Bangladesh Premier League, Pakistan Premier League and it counts on. This once again proves India leads the entire cricketing leagues. Once again the broadcast rights is into the Ambani group. Viacom18 is the joint venture of Tv18 and Paramount, whereas Tv18 is owned by Reliance Industries.

Apart from Afif and Suvagata, no other batsmen of Chattogram had a strike rate of more than 100. Chattogram 's batsmen had shown a very weak batting. Also, we don't see good performance from the bowlers. Except for Nihaduzzaman, every bowler of Chattogram Challengers gave a lot of runs. Although Chattogram is currently fourth in the table, I think they will slip further in the coming days.

I think the main weakness of Chittagong Challengers is their batting, batsmen's performance is very unstable. They scored only 89 runs in the first match. Although they batted a bit better in the next two matches, the batsmen have not been able to play consistently well. 160-170 runs are easily possible on the pitches they have batted on. And if they batted a bit better they could have given a target of more than 180. The batsmen have to play with more responsibility in the upcoming matches.
