Well in the case of Men's IPL, i believe JIO is pretty much safe. Normally IPL is ad driven product for its broadcaster but in comparison to traditional TV. JIO is on steroids and an octopus in this context.

Apart from selling Subriciptions of JIO internet, JIO TV, JIO Music, apps (indirect revenue) etc it has a supermarket business too, which sells goods to its subscribers. To be honest, This is the first time I see Nazmul Hasan Joy and Yasir Ali play good cricket and played a good role to win the match. Whenever they got a chance in the national team, Yasir Ali is enough to play a match against his team. He always does match eating performance for his team. After losing first match against in this TRI Series today South Africa improved their batting and done good job against West Indies with after winning toss they elected to bat first and score 141 runs Marizanne Kapp score 52 runs and captain Sune Luus also contributed with 30 runs on 26 balls which was enough for them to having West Indies under pressure which is now on batting and have not good time after 12 overs they are while chasing target of 142 right now at 53/4 required rate is 11 which is looking not good for West Indies realistically Masabata Klaas done good damage in early overs and have 3/9 in just 2 overs look like we will have South Africa vs India final which could be ended in favor of India because these both teams are not good enough to compete with them.

Watched the Under 19 World Cup between India and Australia, India had a really disappointing day with the bat but the Aussies struggled a bit with the bat even though they won the match in the end chasing a small total of 87, Indian captain was really disappointing with the field positions allowing them  to rotate the strike which eased the pressure.

His IPL batting average is not that bad (2485 from 103 matches, at an average of 34.51). But the strike rate (128.09) was a big issue. And that was the reason why he was dropped after the 2021 season by the Delhi Capitals (for comparison, David Warner has an IPL average of 42.01 and strike rate of 140.69).  

Now at the BBL he has scored consecutive centuries. Yesterday he scored an unbelievable 125 from just 66 balls against the Sydney Thunder (including 9 siexs), and four days before that he scored a 101 from 56 balls against Adelaide Strikers. In both the matches, Sydney Sixers won by a huge margin. His next match is against Hobart Hurricanes tomorrow.

Indonesia were playing for the first time in a major ICC tournament (similar to Rwanda), and they got their first win today. There was a bit of wobble in the end, but Ni Suarniasih and Ni Indriyani added 20 runs for the 8th wicket to take them home. Indonesia ends their campaign with a win, although perhaps it was less sensational compared with the win by Rwanda over Zimbabwe a few days back. Hopefully the ICC will take note of this and increase the number of participants from next edition onwards.

I was actually a little surprised to see the result of this match. When I saw that the target is only 87, I thought this was going to be easy for the Indonesian women to chase down. But in the end they lost seven wickets and made it harder for themselves. But in the last partnership they added the necessary runs and got the win buy three wickets and two overs to spare. I honestly expected Zimbabwe to win in this match. But very good performance by the Indonesian under 19 women.

In this match, Steve Smith has shown that he is very much capable of playing T20 cricket. Now the only thing he needs to do is keeping his average above 25 and the strike rate of 130 or above. And if he can get a few half-centuries it is going to be great for him. Honestly, I want to see another century from him, to be honest. Because his century in this match was really entertaining.

I want him to get a half-century at least in the next match against Hobart Hurricanes. These types of innings are going to establish him as a T20 Batman again.

It's possible but for that to happen Jio must go after ICC media rights too, which clearly didn't happen recently. Disney/Hotstar bagged the 4 years ICC media rights for 3 billion USD so they will stay relevant in the market. Amazon is pretty much out of the race and can't compete, SonyLive on the other hand targets Bilateral for some breathing space.

U-19 Zimbabwe Women's team have managed to score 86 runs which is quite low to defend and win the match. Zimbabwe team is popular than the Indonesian team. Indonesian team too didn't win easily, they've lost 7 wickets to reach the target with 12 balls left. As mentioned the match winning for Indonesia Women's U-19 team is a big thing, because it was Indonesia Women's team into an international tournament. Through the match atleast they'll have more experience, learn and prepare themselves for the upcoming matches.
