I feel he should be given a chance in ODIs as well, Sri Lanka series would have been a good platform to test him.

It was MI which gave him chance to bat on number 3 and 4 which actually made him what he is today. You might say if he would have started this earlier India would have got a great players 3-4 years ago from now. Today Gambhir said he would even like to see him in red ball cricket. IPL has its own popularity but this does not mean that other leagues are not popular. If this was the case, then other leagues would not have attracted money and viewership and eventually die.

My personal opinion is that it is still a little early to predict which teams are most likely to make it to the finals. David Malan has compared the BPL to the Indian Premier League in the past, but this time he expressed a slightly different attitude. But the fact is that the management of Bangladesh has become monotonous, if there is no change in the cricket board president, Bangladesh Premium League and Bangladesh cricket will face a big threat in the future. Now there are no sponsors for the two franchise teams of Bangladesh Premier League, now there is no interest among the sponsor organizations to present the Bangladesh cricket team in front of the world.  One of the main reasons behind this is the dominance of the Bangladesh management team. Bangladesh Cricket Board has not had any change in the upper echelon for a long time, if there was a change then the Bangladesh Management Board would have been made a place of accountability. I am just expressing my view that it is actually a sad chapter for Bangladesh.

We have already seen the umpiring in this tournament, which is absolutely horrible. This time there was not much hype about the BPL. I am also quite sure that there is a huge amount of fixing going on with the umpires in this tournament. Otherwise, there is no reason for the umpires to do such a bad job.

The reason is all players prefer that league which Is progressing and growing and where they are paid good according to their skills and talent which is the reason behind preference of IPL .

This Big Bash has been such a high scoring tournament. It is going to be very hard for any team to defend a score like 130 or 140. And that is exactly what happened.

I can see, Melbourne stars did not put on a big total in this match. They put on 131 which was supposed to be inadequate. And the opponent, Hobert Hurricanes chased down the total quite easily in the end. Actually, towards the end, Hurricanes lost a little too many wickets. But in the end, they got there eventually.

Chittagong won easily due to Usman Khan's responsible batting. Batting for a target of 179 runs, it was not easy to win. But Chittagong's two openers Usman Khan and Max O'Dowd got off to a great start and Chittagong won the match. The two openers put on a massive partnership of 141 runs. If openers or top-order players perform well, it becomes easy to win in the T20 format.

Pakistani players are playing well in Bangladesh Premier League. These players are mainly the second-row players of Pakistan. They are not getting a place in the national team. If they perform well in the BPL, maybe they can catch the attention of the board bosses and get a place in the national team.

Not only Usman Khan, another Pakistani player of the Khulna team Azam Khan played well. He scored 109 runs off 58 balls. Azam Khan hit 9 fours and 8 over boundaries. Azam Khan bin Usman Khan's performance impressed everyone today. Although BPL is in question, Pakistani players are performing well. BPL is slowly becoming crowded. Although the number of foreign star players is very few, the performance of the teams is quite good. The matches may become more competitive in the coming days.
But in today's match, I thought Khulna will win. It was their misfortune that they won even after setting a target of 179 runs. The bowlers need to perform better.

Usman Khan have played in a very responsible way, if not he could've gone out earlier. Though they hadn't lost wickets, the team won the match at the last over. This is the real play than going for big shots and experiencing pressure at the end overs. Chattogram Challengers seems to be confident chasing targets, because they won the toss and decided to bowl first.

I never had a good impression about the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), but the way in which they are organizing the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is quite impressive. This is not one of the top franchise T20 leagues in the world, and yet they have managed to attract a lot of star players from overseas. Yesterday's match between Chattogram Challengers and Khulna Tigers was a perfect example. Both Usman Khan and Azam Khan managed to hit centuries. Usman hasn't yet made his debut for Pakistan and the performance will obviously help him in doing so.

BTW, the SA20 league will start today in South Africa. The first match is between MI Cape Town (owned by Mumbai Indians) and Paarl Royals (owned by Rajasthan Royals). Only the brand name is there, and hardly any MI players are there in the Cape Town squad (there are a few such as Jofra Archer, Duan Jansen and Dewald Brevis). I am not sure whether the MI fans in India will support this franchise (same for RR fans regarding Paarl).

Khulna Tigers face Chittagong Challengers in the sixth match of BPL. Chittagong Challengers defeated Khulna Tigers by a huge margin of nine wickets in this match. The batsmen of Khulna Tigers were able to accumulate 178 runs on the scoreboard in exchange of five wickets in the scheduled 20 overs against Chittagong Challengers.  Pakistani batsman Azam Khan scored 109(58) for the team and scored his own century.  His century was truly a sight to behold. 2 batsmen of Chittagong Challengers were batting very classically with a target of 179 runs.  Both the front-row batsmen brought up their own half-centuries soon after. Later on, Osman Khan's century and Asif Hossain's constant support secured Chittagong Challengers a huge win by nine wickets.

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Chittagong vs Khulna in this game, both the teams kept equal rights in the T20 match.  But in this place Chittagong won by 9 wickets due to the high performance of the players.  Osman Khan alone of Chittagong scored 103 runs and stood in the field till the last.
The main reason why Khulna Tiger team lost was their high number of wickets although Azam Khan was in the field till the last but it is not possible for him alone to win the team.  And the rest did not score a single run due to missed balls and wicket pressure;  Khulna did not show a very good performance and became very deadly for the team.  And bowlers need to increase their experience so that they can hit the opposing team's players from the wicket side.
