Almost every batsman in India tried to play well. And their performance was good enough. Pakistan on the other hand scored 149 runs depending on the performance of only two batsmen. Bismah Maroof and Ayesha Naeem's excellent batting helped Pakistan to collect 149. On the other hand, every Indian batsman batted responsibly. Due to responsible batting by Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh, India managed to collect 150 runs very easily.

Personally, I think it was not a bad performance from Pakistan women. It was actually a decent performance from Pakistan women in the first half of the match actually. In the second half, Pakistan women actually bowled decently.

But in the end, it all came down to the Indian women's team being more experienced and also India having a good betting lineup. And I honestly do not think that Pakistan women actually bowled really well.

Maybe you are right but i think Kiwis are not in good nick as well, that's why keeping them slightly behind Proteas. Also home condition + Recency bias as Proteas Women won against the Indian team in the recent tri-series.

Smriti Mandhana picked up a finger injury so Ind vs Pak could be a close contest.

As things stand, Pakistan has no chance of a win against India (despite the absence of Smriti Mandhana). There were rumors that Harmanpreet Kaur is also injured, but she has been included in the playing XI for today's match. And it will be interesting to know who will be India's third pace option, apart from Renuka Singh and Pooja Vastrakar. Either they can go for the inexperienced Anjali Sarvani, or bank on experience in the form of Shikha Pandey. The morale seems to be high after Ramesh Powar was replaced as the coach by Hrishikesh Kanitkar.

There is another match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka today. Sri Lanka has already one win to their name and in case they get a second one today, then there is a good chance that they may qualify for the semi-finals. And agreed on the Kiwis. They lost the match by almost 100 runs yesterday against Australia. The match outcome was decided in the first innings itself, when Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry took Australia to a massive total of 173/9. And then Ashleigh Gardner wrapped up the New Zealand innings with a 5-wicket haul.

I do agree that Indian team is superior to Pakistan but as of now Pakistan Women are playing well, not watching live but the scoring rate is good if we look at the pattern of the current WC scoring rate.

It looks like they will put up a score (unless they crumble in death overs) that's where IndW will surely miss Mandana. 

Pakistan girls really played well yesterday and they give a tough time to the Indian women's team. I was expecting a one sided match, as we know that there is nothing special in our women's team. But the way they played this match, it was a remarkable effort from these young girls.

Yes, i know that the Indian women's team won the match in the end and that was expected too, but we cannot take the efforts away from the Pakistan women's team. Well done Paki girls.   
I hope they can give same performance against the other teams in this world cup.

Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars

This is the first match of the Pakistan Super League, 2023. Multan Sultans are here with three foreign players, while Lahore Qalandars have four foreign players in the squad today. Both teams look strong. But I don't know about local Pakistani players. It would be interesting for me to watch how Pakistan brings a new pace bowler every year. Of course, this series could get them one or more pacers and batters. Fakhar Zaman and Mirza Tahir Baig are on the crease now. Multan Sultan already lost a review. The score is 19 without loss after three overs.
