This real time drama can cost SRH this match as just few minutes back I was feeling they are going to win this match very easily but suddenly they lost this temperment and now struggling really good fight back by KXIP 15 runs with 9 balls left and just 4 four wickets in hand what a drama happening in last part of play.

What a victory by KXIP, they snatched the victory from SRH as it was supposed to be easy win for SRH and I was of same opine that they will win it . But all credit to KXIP bowlers and team for  picking early wickets and then when SRH stabilised in between innings they fought back later and picked up remaining wickets and won in the end by 12 runs.

You are absolutely spot on on your analysis. I would not say that yesterday match was fixed or not as i did not watch the match, but in such a big tournament, some matches are surely fixed. In some cases, few players are involved in match fixing, if not the whole team.

Although Kings XI Punjab scored a very low total of 126 runs and initially i thought that Sunrisers Hyderabad will win this match easily but Kings XI bowling and batting changed the match completely in the favor of them.

@pakhitheboss I don’t know about you but I believe that most people will know that match fixing is rampant in Dubai, and there was a time when the Indian government wasn’t keen for the national team to go there and play. Furthermore another conspiracy theory for all why does BCCI ditch the ICC anti corruption unit for IPL, and decides to partner with Sportrador?. Lastly if match fixing allegations do come out then can we be guaranteed of a fair trial, as the trials will be conducted by BCCI and they’ll do everything in their power to save the league’s image.

I am not sure why everyone here is talking about match fixing in IPL. None here have submitted a proof and most of you are speculating, which I am not willing to take part. If you believe all matches in IPL are fixed then why watch? No one has forced you to. Untill you have a proof, it is better to focus on the game than conspire about it.

CSK is playing another match against one of their rival team, it looks CSK is playing this match with much positive intent and got paid for it.They restricted RCB  for 145 even Kohli and ABD scored 50 and 39 so it shows that the bowling department got bumped up now its time for the Batsmen to play their potential game.

I also don't believe in conspiracy theories. But a lot of betting happens in T20 matches, after the second innings has started. As Sithara007 posted, at one point, SRH was at 56/1 from 6 overs. At this point, SRH had a win probability of more than 90% and you can imagine the betting odds for the match at that time. Then Manish Pandey came to bat and he started showcasing his defensive techniques. He failed to provide strike to the other batsman (Vijay Shankar), who was scoring at a better rate. With batsmen such as Priyam Garg to follow, the logical thing to do could have been to get out if he could not score the runs. But he got out only after ensuring that the KXIP had an upper hand in the match.

I saw the same thing happening in one of CSK's matches. I don't remember the opponents, but from a similar win probability and a required run rate of less than 6 runs per over, they went on to lose that match. That match was also a carbon copy of yesterday's match. Team batting second was comfortably placed, before the batsmen suddenly started blocking all the balls. In the end, the required run rate shot up from 5 per over to 8 per over and then they would lose wickets quickly. Now let's not forget the fact that both Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad were previously associated with match fixing by their owners. CSK was suspended in 2015, while one of the SRH players got banned later for 1 year.

There is a slight chance for CSK still to enter into playoffs but it is going to be highly dependent on other teams results.Finally they found the spark on a youngster and he is going to be opening batsman for CSK in my opinion.

In another match Hardik Pandya quick 33 not out in 15 balls has helped them reach 167/5 in 18.4 overs and looking easy to cross 180+ runs and will be interesting to see if Rahul Tewatia would be promoted up the order or continue to bat at No 7 only.

You are right. We've been watching a weird match for a while now. Have you seen the match of MI vs RR now? At the end of 13 overs, MI lost 4 wickets and scored 101 runs. But after 20 overs, they scored 195 runs. Hardik Pandya played an incredible innings of 60 off 21 balls, he hit 7 sixes. I bet on MI ,hope I will win the bet.
