It has got the able players, but they lack in stable performance as other team players does.

Hopefully now management will look in this way and try to bring some good changes for remaining matches if they want to alive in this event because today's performance is really disappointed and now I am feeling they are going to be out of this event as they have nothing to fight from here.

Who are these young players that could replace them, they should have done those during the auction, i am really disappointed to see CSK perform like this but it is not a big surprise that they fell short chasing a target and since they ended up in similar positions in several other matches i knew this is what they will end up. They need to learn about rotating the strike and this is the first time i see Dhoni not able to lift the team when they are struggling.

You still have faith in CSK that they will do well in the remaining matches and qualify for the playoff ?  If a team not able to perform well in first seven matches of the tournament don't expect them to turn the tables in the last few matches. The seasons seems over for the Chennai Super kings and MS Dhoni.

Yet they are losing easy wins.

Each team has played more than 6 matches. I have decided that I would not bet any more for RR and Csk. They are disappointed me every time.

@Swordsoffreedom I believe that CSK has underperformed this season, because there’re many old player’s in the squad, who cannot accelerate the run rate when it’s required, and this brings pressure on other player’s which is a key reason for their downfall in this year’s IPL. Secondly they even lost the services of two very experienced player’s Raina and Harbhajan, and maybe that’s hit the balance of the team and they have never recovered from it.

Covid 19 is everywhere and every other teams are equally effected. CSK such a disappointed face until now and hardly poor competitor in this session. About CSK's team management, players fitness level all other things are questionable. Their attitude not sensible enough to compete a match and get win.

Big NO. I don't think it. The pandemic was not just for CSK's players but for everyone. everyone was away from all types of cricket for a long period. If other players can do perform well, why can't CSK’s Players?

The aging team could be one of the reason for it. The team has performed well for years and there are not many changes on it for some years now. MS Dhoni have already taken retirement from international cricket. With this defeat, I don't think they'll be back to play the playoffs. Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata would again be on the top 4 while the last spot for playoff would be contested between Bangalore, Hyderabad and Rajasthan.

I went with the KKR as a winner this season, It looked bad choice at the initial stage but odds were juicy so put up some amount on them. And their team is not that bad especially middle order, only concern is Russell and Narine still not performing with the bat.

KKR is not a bad choice and their team balance is also not that bad. But for me, DC and MI ranks above them. I have a feeling that the KKR bowling is still not up to the mark. Cummins is not taking the wickets (although he is not bowling that bad), and the young pair of Mavi-Nagarkoti is not being consistent. Their batting is OK, but I am not happy with their bowling performance so far.

Bet on Rajasthan today but looks like they are going to lose the game as they already lost 3 wickets in first 4 overs. Getting run out at this stage was a foolish move. Now it's all left to Samson to build a partnership.

All the three batsmen threw away their wicket. This was a game which they could have won easily. A very low total set by SRH, and the target was below 160. First it was Stokes who threw away his wicket and after that an unnecessary run out by Steve Smith. The RR batsmen just wasted the hard work put in by their bowlers. Feels bad for Archer, Tyagi and Unadkat.

DC seems to be doing good so far but for some reason i don't trust their guts as a whole unit, they looks choker to me. Especially don't like their batters, bowling is good tho and can win some games for them. MI is consistent team so may be?

Mavi is doing good overall IMO, Do have some reservation Cummins-Nagarkoti form but Narine doing exceptional job and Rusell is okay for them as far as bowling department is concern.

Can Tewatia do another miracle? RR in pretty bad shape against SRH. They need 65 runs from just 5 overs, with 5 wickets remaining. Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag are currently showcasing their defensive skills, and neither of them have hit a boundary till now. Rashid Khan has one over remaining, and I don't think that RR has much of a chance here. Excellent performance form the SRH bowlers, in defending such a small total.

Much needed points for them at this point because the tournament is getting nearer halfway and from now on we can fit who is going to be in the top 4 and bottom 4. The next match is going between the table toppers and for now DC batting is not really good as before because they lost early wickets and their star players failed again.And surprising changes as well don't know what is the real reason behind them.And I guess this is going to be 160-170 run chance and MI can do it better in my opinion.
