CSK is moving at a really slow pace and i would be surprised if they are able to put a score above 150 runs, they already lost 4 wickets and they big players are all in the pavilion and if they need to have any challenging total Jadeja and Dhoni should stay till the end. The spinners are bowling really well at the later part of the series and the batsman are finding it difficult to score runs against them.

Not only in this match but also all the matches in IPL 2020 CSK played slowly and present a different performance that is really very unexpected to their supporters. where most of the ipl they play in final. But this time they are in the bottom of the table.

BTW maybe CSK going to lose this match too. score is not good enough.

Chennai Super Kings once again played a wonderful game like they did in the past in this years IPL and the player of the day is once again Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav. I am confused why they are not able to pick the best team while sticking to players that are not performing and ignoring Imran Tahir who is one of the best spinners in T20 and performed well in different franchise cricket but he is not getting a place in this team.

If you are pointing at Kedar Jadhav then i would like to point out that its not Dhoni's fault or management. I am positive that Jadhav has nudes of Dhoni and CSK management doing something inappropriate and he's blackmailing them .

Although I would not discount the possibility of Jadhav in possession of something like this, it needs to be noted that the strike rate for the other CSK batsmen were also quite low during yesterday's match. Sam Curran scored 22 runs from 25 balls, Rayudu 13 from 19, Dhoni 28 from 28 and so on. ONly Jadeja had a decent strike rate (116). To be brief, CSK had no intention of winning yesterday's match.

I don't understand. So you are saying that 33-year old Suresh Raina is too old to play in the IPL and they need to replace him with younger players. Well.. that is confusing.. Perhaps they should start with the 39 year old Shane Watson? Let's not forget the fact that MS Dhoni is also 39 years old. BTW, what is the point in replacing the 33-year old Raina with 35-year old Kedar Jadhav?

Actually, you are wrong. If they really thought so, they would never choose Watson for their team. You know Dhoni is old now, his captaincy is not the same as before. CSK must need his replacement player. Firstly, CSK need a skilled captain now.

I am confused whether I'm going to praise his captaincy all the past season or state had crushed so far in this season. It's an insult for this Indian legend but whatever he's no more as fit as before. At least CSK's fan would not convince his performance as a captain. MSD must take off the captaincy to another skilled hand.

Actually it was surprising to see them struggle to pick a winning combination even though the team they pick are not giving the desired results. The team management and the captain should be blamed for this lackluster season.

Loosing Suresh Raina is a factor but they have young talents like Narayan Jagadeesan and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the team and they are not even giving them the opportunity to play, instead they are continuing with Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav.

For me now he is old enough to give up but sadly he is not going for this and now very bad time happening with him and losing matches with poor captaincy is bringing chaos against him which is really not good all things going against him batting form and captaincy so now time for CSK management to look into future and bring some solid replacement for few guys which can help them in next season sticking with these can bring more problmes for them.

Yeah, there is no doubt that Dhoni is one of the best captains in cricket history. And it not only for the National teams but also in IPL. Even I personally love his cool behavior. But this time the performance is very yeah I have to say it is very bad and unexpected. The problem could be he is mentally sick, his age means physically not fit now, has not much confidence with this team.

btw what about the current match between DC and KXIP? I stopped watching this when Gayle was gone. I can not understand why he became so hyper to do the score. Already got about 24 more runs from the previous over then again tried to play big shots. It was a totally wrong decision by gayle.

Shikhar Dhawan is in top form. In 4 matches including today he has scored 2 consecutive hundred and 2 half centuries. Out of that 3 times he was also not out. If any top order batsman can continue and remains not out chances of winning their match increases and DC have won all those matches. Today's match is still on and some contribution in previous matches came from Shreyas Iyer. DC may face issue if these 2 batsmen’s get out early.

Kings XI Punjab is in a really good position to win the match as they just need under run a ball and they have wickets in hand and if they play sensible cricket they will be winning the match, but a couple of wickets could put pressure back into Kings XI Punjab but with no pressure on the run rate they could easily rotate the strike rather than going for the big hits.

The only bowlers they need to worry in a situation like this is Rabada and Ravichandran Ashwin and both have one over left and all they need is to rotate the strike to win the match, but i am hoping for a late surprise simply because Kings XI Punjab is playing as they have taken ordinary chases to the last moment and they have chocked in the past  .
