Great show from KL Rahul today I hope he can take Punjab to win with wonderful batting show. Still Panjab need 28 run from 20 ball, but we now Mumbai have a best dead overs bowlers let's see what will happen at end.

It was a match they could have won. But once again, they wasted the chance. Just 9 runs needed of the final over and Trent Boult had gone for 40 from his previous 3 overs. And somehow, KXIP once again found a way not to win the match. One thing I like about KXIP is that they are very consistent. They are consistent in the way they throw away matches which they could have won easily.

Jasprit Bumrah is really the best and most controlled bowler in the t20 format right now.First bowled well in the match by taking 3 big wickets then bowled 4 yorker out of 6 in the super over and conceded only 5 runs & pick up 2 wickets.
Edit : Are watching with me . I am going to see first ever super over that will go for another super over. What an over bowled by Shami. This is crazy.

Here's the rule -- none of the six players participating this first super-over can't be used. Any batsman dismissed in a Super-Over can't take part in the next.

Second super over will be bowled by Trent Boult. KXIP need 12 runs from 6 balls and I guess Chris Gayle will be opening the batting. I don't know whether it is a good idea to have a left-arm bowler against the left-handed Gayle. Perhaps Nathan Coulter-Nile was a better option. Anyway... it is not going to be easy task for KXIP. BTW, what will happen if the second super over gets tied? Will we have a third super over?

As I posted earlier, asking Trent Boult to bowl against Chris Gayle was a very bad idea. He was expensive during the KXIP innings and went for plenty of runs. Coulter-Nile would have been a better option against Gayle. After the six was hit off the very first ball, Boult was under a lot of pressure. Anyway.. it was a very close game and this time luck favored the King's XI Punjab.

The advantage was with KXIP even before the second super over started. Because KXIP had a very good depth bowling option in Chris Jordan, while Mumbai Indians didn't had someone who could do take that place. And when Gayle hit the six of the first ball, the game was essentially over. Rather than trying for the yorker, Boult could have bowled slower balls. All that said, KXIP would be elated now. And they deserve this win.

KXIP may have won two matches in a row, but their vulnerabilities remain as such. The middle-order is not performing for some time now, with Maxwell struggling to get in to double digits. Their top order is scoring the runs at a brisk pace, so no one is noticing their middle order woes. Also, if you look at the bowling, they seems to be very dependent on Shami and Jordan. The younger bowlers such as Arshdeep Singh and Murugan Ashwin are not consistent.

Today we have the final match between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Southern Punjab at 7:30 PM local time at Rawalpindi cricket stadium.

The grand final has just started. Southern Punjab has won the toss and choose to field. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have started their innings and are 7/0 after the first over. I expect this to be a thrilling final as both the semi-finals were single sided matches.

I would agree, when you say that Trent Boult is a better bowler when compared to Chris Jordan. But as far as depth over bowling is concerned, Chris Jordan is one of the best. He has the ability to bowl very accurate yorkers, in the block hole. All that said, there is no point in blaming Boult. The blame should be on Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock, who failed to score 6 runs from 6 balls. The way de Kock ran during the last ball of the super over was just shocking.

Chris Gayle is unpredictable and when he gets in form, he is one man army which in previous IPL season we have seen it. The doors for Punjab to top 4 is still open but will be very difficult. And yesterday was a sort of history for us. Never seen in IPL 2 matches in a day which end up as a tie and super over is a decider. It was an eventful day yesterday to watch the match till the last ball.

If you look at the teams that are winning consistently they have tear away fast bowlers who could bowl at over 145 kmph and yesterday it was Lockie Ferguson who took the team to victory with his sheer pace and DC have two fast bowlers that could trouble Gayle, so it is not an easy task. As a fan we will see good contest and that is what IPL is providing in the past few matches as every matches were really close.

Did you see today's super over match between SRH and KK? First I thought maybe we are going to seeing the most amazing things which is very scarce in cricket. But what I see after starting the super over is totally unexpected. SRH achieve only 2 runs 2 wickets in 3 balls. It's really very tragic for the team and the supporters.

What a match! So much sensational and tragic though. Kolkata Knight Riders Won the Super Over Match. Entire credit goes to Ferguson, who saved the match, otherwise KKR completely attempted to free the match. SRH team need some power and must need to learn how to play super over.

The KKR team management did a big mistake by not including him in the playing XI earlier. Sunil Narine was performing poorly in the initial matches, and they stuck with him. Replacing Cummins was out of question, as he is being regarded as one of the best pace bowlers in the world right now. But there was a possibility of including Lockie in place of Russell, as the latter is also not performing in a consistent manner.

Since Lockie lights up the IPL there very much possibility he could easily replace Russell, who is not consistent in this IPL 2020. KKR slowly waking up form their position, so they should continue with best eleven in upcoming matches. Seriously, still i could not believe yet there two matches in a row with super over.

CSK vs RR match is currently ongoing. As always CSK is troubling manage to continue good run rate, I just wish CSK may reach a good total and win today. Dhoni appearance in 200 matches in IPL history so I don't like to see him in a losing side.

CSK is moving at a really slow pace and i would be surprised if they are able to put a score above 150 runs, they already lost 4 wickets and they big players are all in the pavilion and if they need to have any challenging total Jadeja and Dhoni should stay till the end. The spinners are bowling really well at the later part of the series and the batsman are finding it difficult to score runs against them.

I am Picking RR to win the match, lets see how this goes, the last few days the matches were really close and RR have the players to chase anything around 160 runs.
