India scored only 132 runs. I am surprised to see such a low run rate in T20 matches. Despite having many good batsmen in the Indian squad, they have scored only 132 runs. Sikhar Dhawan scored 40 runs off 42 balls. The strike rate is less than 100. I at least expected them to collect more than 145. Sri Lanka needs 133 runs off 120 balls. Not a very difficult task.

Well.. JSRAW already pointed out that India went with just 5 batsmen. Now watching the batting performance from Sri Lanka, it looks like the surface is really hard for batting. The spinners and medium pacers are getting a lot of support from the pitch. The match is now like 50/50. Both the teams have equal chances at the moment. Sri Lanka was cruising nicely, but then Minod Bhanuka got out in the bowling of Kuldeep Yadav. In case Sri Lanka loses this match, then it will be a big setback for them. Given the fact that India struggled to find enough players to get this match going, I expected something better from Sri Lanka this time.

The match between Pakistan and West Indies is now delayed due to rain. Pakistan's decision to bowl was right. Because West Indies batsmenera is very skilled. I think if Pakisthan are given a target of 160/170 , then the West Indies will easily win the match.

It's hard to keep any team ahead in this short over match. On the other side, Sri Lanka won the match by 4 wickets against India. Last T20 match will determine this series winner.

In the end, Sri Lanka won the first T20 match against India. However, their batsmen did not play very well. At least, I didn't like their playstyle. Bhanuka, Dhananjaya and Chamika's good batting helped Sri Lanka win. The other batsmen did not perform as well as expected. Despite the fact that the Indian players are more experienced than the Sri Lankan players, they have lost. We expected better gameplay from India.

What an amazing comeback by the Sri Lankans! I was thinking that it was all over for them, when Ramesh Mendis got out. 20 runs were needed from 2 overs and the most experienced Indian bowler (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) conceded 12 runs of the 19th over. Also, I was really surprised by Dhawan's captaincy. He didn't even gave a single over to Navdeep Saini, despite the fact that Chetan Sakariya was leaking runs in every direction. Personally I don't like Saini, but on this occasion I think he should have bowled a few overs.

West Indies collected only 85 runs in 9 overs. The expectation of collecting at least 100 runs from them, because they have a lot of aggressive and hitter batsmen in their team. Is 85 runs enough to win against Pakistan's batting lineup? I don’t think that’s enough. If the wickets of Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman cannot be taken very fast then West Indies will undoubtedly lose today's match.

Hey mate west indies vs Pakistan first t20 match already abandoned by rain and they delcalead it as no results. The match dismissed without any results.

I don't think that Dhawan did something extra-ordinary out there yesterday. He was wasting a lot of balls, at least in the beginning. How can you justify someone, who couldn't even score a run per ball in T20 cricket? It was Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devdutt Padikkal who took India to a good score. I didn't had much faith in Sanju Samson, as he has a habit of wasting the chances that are given to him. And yesterday also the same thing happened. If Dhawan had batted well and India made another 10 runs to their total, then they could have won yesterday's match.

Samson is not going to get place in the national team anytime soon anyway, now he should just stick to the IPL and forget about Blue jersey. Guess Dhawan was trying to dig in for long haul which was okay strategy considering they went with only 5 batsmen and at least 1 batsman needed to bat deep, he failed tho.

I wouldn't say this to all of the Indian bowlers. In yesterday's playing XI, Navdeep Saini was having an ODI batting average of 53.50. He didn't bowled, so I guess he was playing as a full-time batsman. 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar can be considered as an all rounder, but he needs to improve upon his batting. And from yesterday's squad, Rahul Chahar is someone who is also considered as a bowling all rounder. Kuldeep Yadav is also not that bad. But the truth is that all these players are being considered as "bowlers who can bat a bit", rather than as genuine all rounders. They are not up to the level of Ben Stokes or Mitchell Marsh. Washington Sundar was touted as one. But given his recent form, I don't have much hope.

It's normal to see this happen when management gives priorities to net bowlers and it may not always be possible to give your best at all times. Think twice about the strength of the bench for the Indian team in Sri Lanka tour. The success rate of the Indian young talent and their victory over Sri Lanka should be commended. There is no arguing about their team's and players' strength. Could the lack of responsibility be the reason for this?

Lol i didn't had any idea about his ODI average.

Bhuvi and Kuldeep can bat but their batting is not suitable for the T-20 format, may be in test their batting is handy with lots of "If and But". India has fair amount of spin all rounders (Jaddu, Ashwin,Washi, krunal, Axar) but i doubt if India is capable of producing Batting-seam allrounder like Stokes, having said that they can try grooming Chahar (In shorter format) and Lord Thakur (In test).

India went with an extremely inexperienced playing XI and it would have been humiliating for the Sri Lanka to lose against such a side. They won the match, but it was very close. 20 runs were needed from the last 2 overs and if Indians had bowled tightly, then it would have got very difficult for the Lankans. The captaincy was also not up to the mark. I know that there is almost zero chance that Virat Kohli would be replaced as the captain of the Indian team anytime soon (in any of the formats).  But in the unlikely scenario of that happening, Shikhar Dhawan doesn't seems to be a good replacement.

Does it believe that India will score only 43 runs in 12 over, in T20 formet? I haven’t seen it since the start of the match. Just checked the scoreboard and I was completely stunned. They have collected only 43 runs, it does not seem that they will be able to collect 100 runs. We did not expect such a bad performance from India, although it is a second tier team in India.

He's considered T-20 specialist but the way he's performing i don't think selectors are going to pick him up next time, now his fans should sit tight and keep their mouth shut for good.

Finally India has reached 81 runs losing 8 wickets, which is truly the best performance. Not only Samson, each and every player is a disappointment. Atleast some should've taken responsibility and given the best. The weakest batting line-up has made the score and Sri Lanka bowlers need to be appreciated for their brilliant bowling. It is really disappointing, because none would've expected such a performance on a decider match.

So unprofessional batting. We didn't expect this type of batting from a first-tier team. Shikhar Dhawan, Padikkal and Samson are all great batsmen for the T20 format. But they have completely failed. Shikhar and Samson were out for zero. I think this is Team India's lowest run in T20 format.
