Because they are now in a very weak position compared to other opponents.

Netherlands is in very poor form, and therefore I don't think that they have a chance against Sri Lanka. However, the Namibia vs Ireland match is very important. The over-hyped approach isn't the solution, long-term experience is what matters, and Namibia is still so young to compete with other top 10 ranking nations. Namibia went through to the Super 12s after defeating Ireland comfortably. There has been an amazing job done and I hope Namibia will follow in the steps of becoming, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, which is logical but long overdue. All the associates are inspired by what they have accomplished. May more cricket superpowers emerge!

I really disappoint with performance of Ireland and Bangladesh because these both teams was really poor after watching these matches I am feeling quality is going down because they are really awful against associated teams even having some good experience of all formats. Today specially Ireland was not near their good play and Namibia outclass them with their all round performance specially David Wiese is having very good all round performance in last few matches.

Sri Lanka is also facing some serious issues, but they are still some good and capable of playing good game against these minors, hopefully we will have some better performance from them in main round of this twenty/20 world cup.

A very poor performance from the Netherlands as they collapsed against Sri Lanka in just 10 overs with just 44 runs on board, only 2 players able to reach in double figure. We can expect this type performance from Associated teams, but Netherlands was good few months back, but suddenly they go down very badly. After this exit now they have some good time for thinking about this all and having some good work for future because they are still able to fight back in coming months.

After poor performance from Ireland now Netherlands this performance is also very disappointed for European territory cricket.

Namibia current form is good, and they can do some good as they have few very aggressive and good players, but I am not agreed about their bright future because we have some very good performance from Kenya and Zimbabwe but sadly after very short period these both teams disappear from sight and currently Namibia is also in same way their local setup is not good enough like South Africa which can bring some good talented players they need to do some good work for this all right now main problem is their quota system and restrictions between white and black players it's really hurting their all system very badly if these countries can settle these things then surely they will be able to have some good future in cricket.

LOL.. Netherlands probably had their worst match ever in T20 World Cup. From what I heard, they had some selection issues, especially related to the pace bowlers. Some of the players were released by their respective counties, so that they could represent their motherland in the world cup. But that represented a dilemma for the Dutch captain, as he can't drop top performers to accommodate the county players. Netherlands, along with Papua New Guinea were the disappointments so far in the tournament.

Namibia played really well in the match against Ireland. They reached the top 12 and it's actually good for them in the long run. They will eventually find more players if they play better like this. It's good to see more and more teams being interested in cricket. Hope there will be a lot more teams participating in the world cup soon.

And the 2nd match today is not so important and Sri Lanka is just the better team in this match and they should win easily.

It's been a spectacular performance for Sri Lankan team in the qualification round so far. This is a complete new Sri Lanka in the T20 WorldCup. It is a magical improvement in every department. With a dominating performance in the opening round of the T20 WorldCup, Sri Lanka enters the Super 12s. As of now, I believe it was indeed stupid to put Sri Lanka through qualifying. A better team would have qualified. Their destruction level was shown, and this is an attitude that needs to be upheld.

I didn’t expect the Netherlands to win the match or they could go to the next round. But I did not expect them to lose all the matches. Namibia showed surprise. I think Namibia reaching the super 12 is going to be historic for the country, it was their first T20 world cup appearance and they really did their best in it, last they had played world cup in 2003 I remember in which they didn't win any match, but this time they were able to defeat two pioneers of associate cricket, Ierland and Netherlands both of which teams have immense experience playing the world cups, now if they can give atleast 1 or 2 more setbacks in upcoming round, they would definitely be remembered in the history of cricket and this could be a start of a new era of cricket in the country.

Zimbabwe's career was very good. They have been destroyed only because of the internal troubles of their management and because of the stupidity of the management. Their team had lots of talented players. Many players retire due to management problems and it also hinders the creation of talented new young players. If Namibia's management is experienced, and they really want to improve their domestic cricket, then maybe in the future they will be able to challenge teams like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Namibia is not new country in cricket world because once they already played in CWC2003, and they were good but having some serious domestic issues they were unable to carry on like they started many players playing counties in different countries, but recently they have done some good again and having in T20 CWC is massive achievement for them.

Now they are going to face some giants in this game which will give them some good experience. They have chance of winning a match against Scotland, all other teams are very balanced and have good enough squads. So they have very few chances against big giants, but Scotland match could be good for them.

I did not expect Namibia to win today and i thought Ireland will loose like that but David Wiese produced a good all round performance to hold Ireland scoring a big total and they were able to chase that easily and the other match that surprised me is the Netherlands match against Sri Lanka, the match are becoming spin friendly and it was a lopsided victory for Sri Lanka

The main battle starts tomorrow with England and West Indies. My pick is England to win but you never know how West Indies will perform as they have some world class T20 players.
