The odds are pretty much even, although slightly favor the New Zealand. To be honest, its hard to decide which team to bet before the start of the match.

It is very difficult for me to make predictions about New Zealand vs Pakistan match. Because Pakistan's performance is very erratic. Compared to Pakistan, the performance of New Zealand players is stable. But Pakistan can make a breakthrough performance at any time. Especially if the two openers Rizwan and Babar perform well, they are capable of winning by batting at any big target. Pakistan also has one of the strongest bowling lineups in the tournament. In case they bat first, they need to make sure that a decent run rate is maintained from the start. They can't always depend on their middle and lower order to score quick runs in the end.
