BCCI board has removed 6 players including Virat Kohli for 2024 World Cup. This news has already been communicated to them. This time there are many different faces in the team. As a result, a bunch of new faces will get a chance in the Indian cricket team. The BCCI board expects that this new Indian team will perform very well.Do you think these new faces in Indian team can perform really well? Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's performances have not been up to expectations in recent times. I doubt if anyone else in the history of Indian cricket has been given the amount of opportunities especially given to Virat Kohli. The Indian Cricket Board has a lot of good cricketers who have a lot of potential. On the other hand, these two cricketers are quite senior. Virat Kohli's age is now 34 years while Rohit Sharma is 35. Naturally, they now have to give up the place to newcomers. I think the Indian Cricket Board has taken an appropriate decision and that will be effective for the newcomers.

These legendary players already give their best for the Indian team into this shorter format, so now it's time for having changes because things looking not good with these players now new generation players are also having good experience while giving their best for their teams into IPL and few other International matches hopefully this two year time will bring more improvement and India will be able to have better results into ICC events which were not as required in last few years.

Now Indian domestic set up is very strong and having good facilities and better equipment's for these youngsters those are joining these all will be helpful for them in coming months best thing now pool is very large, and they can bring replacements are as well which will also bring healthy competition.

@dezoel if India is already preparing for the next World Cup’s then they needed to drop Rohit and Virat both, because they need to rebuild their team around younger player’s who’re constantly performing hence this decision makes sense. I am happy that Kohli and Rohit were dropped from the team. These two are undoubtedly one of the best players in India. But they are not in form. India has plenty of players who deserve a chance in the national team. But for Kohli and Rohit, talented players were not getting a chance in the Indian squad. Hardik Pandya is consistently playing well. But after becoming the captain, the pressure and responsibility will increase on him.

First of all, I don't think that India should have same players participating in different formats. Guys such as Rohit and Kohli are more suitable for test format and they score too slowly in T20Is. Batsmen such as Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav are more suitable for the shorter format. Indian selectors are moving in the right direction, and hopefully in the near future they will be able to have separate squads for both test and T20. I don't care much about the ODI format. Nowadays it is getting obsolete and may completely vanish in the future.

My opinion is that this definitely would have been a difficult decision to make, but it was the right decision to make in my opinion. The selectors did not want to play the same squad in all formats as you said. They wanted to have different teams and players for different formats. But that is not currently possible. So, I think they are doing the right thing by gradually adopting a more modern way. It is likely that the younger generation will do better in shorter formats. However, the older and more experienced generation will do better in longer formats such as tests and ODIs.

Thunders having one of the worst start of this season as after winning first match in second they all bowled out for just 15 runs which is lowest in Big Bash League, but now they are on two matches win streak with today they have one of the best inning from their batting lineup which give them good runs on board and their bowlers also support them positively with few days back they have won by 10 wickets now they are on roller coaster with good target for the bottom side team Brisbane Heat which done good try but at the end they fail by just 11 runs thanks for Kiwi batsman Munro who smashed 98 runs on just 53 balls but sadly on other side no batsman able to support him and eight batsmen were not able to enter into double figure digit.

IMO, Rishabh Pant remains as the no.1 keeper batsmen in India. Who are the other options? Dinesh Karthik is almost 38 years old and he may retire in a couple of years at the most. Sanju Samson has wasted whatever opportunities given to him and has now resorted to bullying using his rabid fan army. KL Rahul is another option, but he doesn't like to be the keeper when he is playing. Youngsters such as KS Bharat, Upendra Singh Yadav, Mohammed Azharuddeen and Anuj Rawat are not being given any opportunities.

India also has Parthiv Patel & Ishan Kishan. Both are also good openers as well as middle order batters. They both are much younger and can also replace Panth. We have already seen he has been replaced by Ishan Kishan in the upcoming bilateral series with Srilanka. Selectors have multiple options available at the moment.

Since he has been one of the major contributors for the last four years, the Indian test team will suffer. For India, this could be a fatal blow in the upcoming Australian series. A speedy recovery is wished to the Indian superstar.

Panth is very lucky! Surviving a Brutal car accident wherein the car is burned down. It was his Mercedes car and he was traveling from Uttarakhand to Delhi. He has suffered serious injuries and how bad are those is not clear at the moment. Wishing him a speedy recovery and praying that his cricket career doesn't gets affected due to his injuries.

Today I could not enjoy the match between these two teams Melbourne Renegades vs Sydney Sixers. I thought to enjoy the game today but I was busy so I didn't enjoy it. Pant had a dangerous accident and his car burned down to Ashes, luckily he survived with some injuries.  The picture of car is horrible and that's a miracle he survived this car accident.
