That was an unlucky day for Rajasthan Royals, if not this could've never happened. In the last five overs Sunrisers Hyderabad have scored 71 runs. This is absolutely big and it was Gelnn Phillips who changed the match at the 19^th over. In the final over Samad took it close and the luck brought them win. In between Rahul Tripathi and Marakram played one or two sixes, that too turned valueable with the win.

I feel Gujarat Titans is comfortable to the playoff. CSK is almost in its entry to the playoff, still three matches left and the points are close with the rest of the teams. Based on this, we can't be sure which team gonna get into the playoff.

Kolkata Knight Riders face Punjab Kings in an important match of IPL. There is no option to win today's match to qualify for the playoffs. If Punjab Kings can win against KKR today then Punjab Kings will move to number 3 position in the points table and if KKR win against Punjab Kings then KKR will move to number 5 in the points table. 
This equation tells how important it is for both teams to win today's match. KKR win is more important than Punjab Kings.  If KKR lose today's match, their IPL dream will be over.

The first match of the season for Quinton but he hardly looked rusty, his partner Mayers is not far away either and doing his job consistently. Mind you, the latter was filling for the former as De Kock was unavailable at the start due to national duties.

The way Mayers and Quinton De Kock started it looked like Lucknow Super Giants might win the match but the momentum of the match turned upside down after the opening pair broke. However, the performance of De Kock in the first match of this year's IPL 2023 in tomorrow's match is really commendable. But his 70 in the first innings will be a matter of regret for the Lucknow Super Giants as his score would have been memorable if he could have won the match tomorrow.

The main reason for the defeat of Lucknow Super Giants was that no one could set the pitch after the two batsmen were moved. Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Poran each of them failed to bat. When a team is acknowledged by the big target, the game changes drastically. Those who are able to adapt that change they can win the match. Lucknow Super Giants's top -order adopt them accordingly, but the others could not return the match after the fall of two wickets wicket. And they were defeated in the match by a big difference.

I would say the main reason for Lucknow Super Giants' defeat is the poor performance of their bowlers. Batting for a target of 228 runs is much more difficult to win. Although the pitch was batting friendly, scoring 128 runs off 120 balls was a tough task. Even so, de Kock and Kyle Marse managed to get off to a good start. Had the other batsmen in the squad been able to maintain this consistency, they might have won the match.
Maybe we won't see Lucknow Super Giants in the top four of the table due to defeat in this match. They have won only one match in their last 5 matches. Lucknow Super Giants' chances of qualifying for the knockout round are slowly diminishing.

It is clear that Lucknow Super Giants' have lost their rhythm. Early on they won three matches out of four matches but later on they lost maximum matches.Batting on a target of 227 runs is very difficult although they did very well in the power play to score 72 runs without losing  any wicket. But after the fall of successive wickets, they managed to get 171 runs in the end, as the target of many runs, it is normal to lose wickets, but if the bowler had given a little less runs, there was a chance of winning. Very interesting thing is that four matches were lost with this team.

Brook needs to be dropped after having few worst results with two back to back ducks G Phillips and Samad both done good job in just 14 balls which change the match in favor of SRH which was looking for the win, and they have even Sandeep done good job, but RR were under pressure after having two defeats with now after losing this match they are on three matches losing streak which is surely not ideal situation while we are having interesting time in this season.

From here, we can watch good changes at the top of the league table as GT is clearly heading for the another top spot CSK is also doing impressive in last few matches and others have to fight hard for the remaining spots for top four which is never been easy with many players are starting doing good.

Just hoping that this guy will not end up as an one-season wonder like Rahul Tewatia. His contribution (21 from 10 balls) was very crucial towards the end for Kolkata Knight Riders. To be fair, they had two more power hitters down the order (Shardul Thakur and Sunil Narine), but Russell and Rinku finished things off, without bothering them. And it was poor captaincy from Shikhar Dhawan at the other end. Harpreet Brar had figures of 1-0-4-1 and he got just one over, while the expensive Rahul Chahar was allowed to bowl his full quota of 4 overs.

Kolkata won so I am happy. Because I like this team. Jason Roy, Nitish Rana, Russel and RInku batted well. And I would say Kolkata won because of the responsible batting of these four batsmen. But I thought they would reach the victory target more easily. But Kolkata batted till the last ball to win. But I am annoyed by Venkatesh Iyer's batting. The target was big enough. But Iyer's strike rate was only 84. Iyer is a very experienced batsman. The team does not expect such a stupid performance from an experienced batsman like him. Kolkata is now the fifth team in the points table. The team still has a chance to qualify for the knockout rounds.

Bangladesh's women's team is not very strong. There are very few experienced players in the team. Srilajik set a target of 146 runs. Winning a target of 146 runs on such a pitch is not a very difficult task. Still, it seems that the Bangladesh women's team will not win. At the end of 18 overs, Bangladesh women's team collected 121 runs, losing only 3 wickets. NIgar Sultana and Ritu Moni are batting well. Even then, it is very difficult for Bangladeshi players to collect 25 runs in 2 overs. Bangladesh players played quite well today. I will be happy if Bangladesh can win today's match.

After yesterday's thrilling win KKR has moved up the ladder of the point table. RCB is now on the 6th spot just below KKR. The need to win today's match against MI with a good NRR if they want to be in the playoffs. MI has been chasing good and if Rohit wins the toss then they will bowl fist I think.

KKR won the match because of Russel and Rinku Singh. The past couple of matches including yesterday's were all about the last ball.
