Chahal is absolutely brilliant. He managed to take the most wickets in IPL so far(187) in just 143 matches which says a lot. He is easily one of the best spinners that I have seen in modern day cricket.

Also, I am hyped for the upcoming match between GT and MI who are in phenomenal form these days. Am betting on GT in this encounter.

Yesterday was a day of catches, while RR was seen taking some brilliant catches, KKR was seen dropping some simple catches. Jaiswal's incredible batting led to RR win the match with a good NRR. They are now comfortably sitting on the 3rd position of the point table dethroning MI to 4th.

Today we have an interesting game between MI & GT. MI would love to win the toss and bowl first as they have been very effective in chasing the target. Overall I am expecting some good batting from both sides today.

Everything would have been complete in the match yesterday if Yashasvi Jaiswal could have scored a century but that was not the case as Yashasvi Jaiswal missed the century by two runs. But many may say that why Sanju Samson did not help Yashasvi Jaiswal to score a century basically these two Indian batsmen played for the team. Because from the beginning the main reason for their hard hitting batting was to increase their net and they have succeeded in that. Rajasthan Royals net run rate is now +0633. 

Had Rajasthan Royals won by 2-3 overs due to Yashasvi Jaiswal's century, Rajasthan would have gone far behind in terms of net run rate. Rajasthan Royals won by nine wickets with seven overs in hand.

LOL.. who is Anand Jaiswal? It was Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored the half-century yesterday. And he missed the century by just 2 runs (was unbeaten on 98). Yesterday, the fireworks started from the first over itself. I don't know what prompted Nitish Rana to open the bowling, but that move proved costly for the Kolkata Knight Riders as he conceded 26 runs from just 6 balls. Among the KKR bowlers, only Sunil Narine and Suyash Sharma had decent economy rates, while Nitish Rana and Anukul Roy went for more than 20 runs per over.

I think you mean bowling here. Firstly, no bowling changes were working against Yashasvi Jaiswal's batting. And the second reason why Nitish Rana did not bowl to Andre Russell is because Andre Russell cannot bowl full page due to injury.  And in other normal matches we have seen Andre Russell bowl only one to two overs.

Anyway, there are rumors that Narine will be retiring by end of this season. If that is the case, then KKR should get a quality spin bowler to replace him. This season is all but over for KKR and it is almost certain that they will not qualify for the playoffs. They have two more matches remaining and I hope that the management will use them as an opportunity to provide chances to some of the bench players.

And another thing Kolkata did wrong is not buying Shakib Al Hasan and not bringing him back into the team I think it was a wrong decision for Kolkata. 
Especially in this season, if Shakib Al Hasan was included in the team, Kolkata team management would get three advantages, firstly, good batting support in the middle order, secondly, bowling support in times of pressure and Kolkata would get beautiful captaincy from him. Due to all these wrong decisions, Kolkata is a complete failure team in this tournament.

Sri Lanka (W) staged a remarkable comeback in the T20I series against Bangladesh overcoming a 1-0 deficit to emerge victorious with a 2-1 scoreline. In the final match Sri Lanka set a target of 159 runs for Bangladesh. But Bangladesh struggled to chase down the total and could only manage 114 runs in their allotted 20 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Sri Lanka Nilakshi de Silva played a crucial role in the victory showcasing an outstanding performance with an unbeaten knock of 63 runs. His contribution earned him the well-deserved award of Player of the Match.

And another thing Kolkata did wrong is not buying Shakib Al Hasan and not bringing him back into the team I think it was a wrong decision for Kolkata.

What an amazing batting I saw from Suriya Kumar Yadav.  Every ball felt like I was watching the highlights of the game.  He hit a six off the last ball of the last over to complete his century. 
He needed three runs for his century off the last ball but he added three runs more. He hit a brilliant six off the last ball of the last over. This extraordinary innings of his is like to be engraved in a golden frame. 

In today's match I only want to praise Suriya Kumar Yadav.  Where the team's total runs are 218, he has scored 103 runs alone, that is, he has really contributed a lot to the team's big score. He proved that is why he is the number one batsman in T20 cricket.

SKY is back just before the 50 overs world cup. Scoring 103 in just 49 balls is just incredible for me as a viewer and a fan. The opening pair for MI is in shambles. Considering Jaiswal performance in this IPL season. I think Jaiswal should be his replace Ishan Kishan as he has become unreliable.

CSK might become a team which is known for chasing after this match. If they could chase this target then it would place them as a serious contender for the IPL trophy. As a fan I still would want to see MSD bat again and going after MI bowlers, without considering the outcome of today's game.

It seem to me that in IPL session most of the cricket fans are not preferred other matches. Moreover,  in Sri Lanka Women and Bangladesh Women series i predicted Sri Lanka to win this series. Although the first two matches in this series were tied 1-1. It is not very easy to score 150 runs in women's cricket. Those who can usually score 150 or more will win. 158 runs is certainly a good score which cannot be surpassed by a weak team like Bangladesh Women. Bangladesh lost all their wickets for just 114 runs and Sri Lanka to win by a huge margin of 44 runs.

A Mumbai win during today's match is bad news for Rajasthan Royals and Sanju Samson. Rajasthan have 12 points from 12 matches, while Mumbai will be left with 14 points from 12 matches. And there is a good chance that Lucknow Super Giants will overtake RR, since their next match is against SRH (they have played only 11 matches so far). If they win today, then Mumbai would have won 4 matches out of their last five. Only Gujarat has this achievement among all the other franchise (that is, before their loss today). BTW, congrats to Rashid Khan, for hitting the half-century.
