Who do you guys got? Poirier or Gaethje?
Poirier. 100%. He did not disappoint in the fight against Chandler, while Gaethje had a hard time against Fiziev and I think his will is not as strong as it was. Seems a pretty easy pick to make, for someone like me just checking the odds. It's a question in this week's BSFL -- not sure you guys following it, but tokes , man, been a long while since we shared a discussion in this forum so I gotta ask: Poirier seems the type keen to finish fights: 2 KO/TKOs and a submission in his last 3 bouts. More of the same? (and hello jeremypwr, the question courtesy of )

Yes just like you I also want to see him have a rematch against Curtis Blaydes, and to test if his knee's going to break again, (just joking) but there is a lack of showcase with their skills and this is to test his speed against Curtis Blaydes, then a Ciryl Gane to a title match would be a good run for Tom Aspinall for sure,
Ciryl Gane will do that for Curtis. Tybura vs Tom was just too short to find out what that knee had done to Tom but with Gane, this will not be as easy as he thought. Tybura didn't get the chance to test the knees. But of course, Tome hurried to finish before Tybura could even think of it. Easy to KO a fat and old fighter. UFC 291 Has lots of good fighters. The cards look like a star-studded movie. Lightweight: Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje Light Heavyweight: Jan Błachowicz vs. Alex Pereira Welterweight: Stephen Thompson vs. Michel Pereira Lightweight: Tony Ferguson vs. Bobby Green Can't decide this fight. These 2 probably don't like to be there anymore but are bound. Welterweight: Michael Chiesa vs. Kevin Holland

Finally we have a stacked event! I'm looking forward to Semelsberger vs Medic, Kopylov vs Ribeiro, Lewis vs de Lima, Bonfim vs Giles, Thompson vs Pereira and the main event. And for obvious reasons my FOTN is the main event. Lol. Who do you guys got? Poirier or Gaethje? Anyway, here's the countdown vid! Yipee! UFC 290: Countdownhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnQT-15D8FcHere's the post fight press conference from the last event. I think Aspinall is one of the coolest guys in the UFC. Hope to see him with the belt one day. UFC London: Post Fight Press Conferencehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkIQNusmJkEAnother stacked event but not as stacked as UFC 290, but this will surely do, and yes Matthew Semelsberger VS Uros Medic is a good fight to watch for me Uros Medic is looking good in his performance so far, for me Medic can have the advantage for this fight well my gut feeling is telling me to go for Uros Medic, Well for me other than Dustin Poirier VS Justin Gaethje, Jan Błachowicz VS Alex Pereira, and Tony Ferguson VS Bobby Green or other Main Card events, surely if we are only going with the Preliminary Card, I would go with Roman Kopylov VS Claudio Ribeiro for me that will be a real banger, Ciryl Gane will do that for Curtis.

Good assessment of the fight well because the fight was too short we didn't see what is the time frame of Aspinall's knee, and I think if Ciryl Gane fights Tom Aspinall, if Gane still doesn't have wrestling in his game, then this is another win for Tom Aspinall but if his knee got exposed or could get exposed then Ciryl Gane could likely win via technical KO, or can even go the Distance for this fight,

Ha-ha tokeweed was right when he said Stoliarenko could pull an arm bar. At first it looked that it is going to be easy fight for McCann, but that fight ended quickly after Stoliarenko performed her special move. That is her 10 out of 11 finishes with arm bar. Funny how Molly was stopped by such a weak opponent. That is her real skill. She jumped into Paddy the baddy hype train, but has nothing special to show after all.
He was really right from the start that Julija Stoliarenko would end up beating Molly McCann and for me McCann is really weak against grapplers she doesn't have any skills when it comes in the ground game, and likely as you have said she is just riding the hype of Paddy Pimplett for sure, just because she is a friend but that was her best skill after all, and she really can not attain a much higher rank because she doesn't have talent at all, I've just caught up on the highlights of the fights, looked like a decent night especially for some of the underdogs. I know Molly is a fan favourite so I imagine a lot of fans tripped up on that one, and it likely destroyed quite a few accumulators. I've missed the fight nights the last few weeks I've been on vacation. So, looking forward to next event, which looks like a proper good night on paper. Hopefully, it delivers. Tricky night to bet though.
I hope they just bet their money that they would rather be OK with when it lost, because nothing much is expected for Molly McCann, now that she was beaten by Julija Stoliarenko that was not on the Rank 10 of the Women's Flyweight and surely a wrestler I really think there is no chance for her to be on the Rank 10 either and because of the fight Molly McCann vs Erin Blanchfield back then I really got an insight that she would never beat a wrestler at all, Seems a pretty easy pick to make, for someone like me just checking the odds. (and hello jeremypwr, the question courtesy of ) Dustin Poirier VS Justin Gaethje could be one hell of a fight and yes Poirier could make a decent bet for this fight but we can not take out that Justin Gaethje's will to surely get back up is something that we should not take out from him, but yeah Dustin Poirier is the favorite here so maybe people are seeing great advantage for Duistin Poirrier for betting for him,

I saw a lot of people were disappointed in the social media about past UFC London event. People were complaining about high ticket price and lack of big names on the tournament. Despite two quick finishes in main and co-main events there were nothing else much to watch. I think people expected to see Paddy Pimblett, but not many know that he had ankle surgery in march and he was on crutches next 6 weeks.

And here's the thing, they're gonna fight in high elevation in Salt Lake City. Gaethje trains in Colorado so he prolly has the cardio advantage in this one. Here are a couple of free replays. Obviously, Justin has the durability, and the power to beat anyone so it'll always be a good fight when he's involved. I expect a good fight, and I don't think either fighter will lose by a landslide. I know, but I wasn't talking only about outcomes of those fights, but more of how well each fighter was prepared, his mentality etc. And in my opinion Poirier looked really sharp in his last fight, while Gaethje seemed to lost his flare a little bit. Maybe I got this impression from his post fight conference when he said something about "countless reasons to not go longer than you should in this sport" which hinted that he might be slowly thinking about retirement. And frankly, with his fighting style and the amount of hard punches that he absorbed, he probably should be picking his next fights carefully and focus his health. And here's the thing, they're gonna fight in high elevation in Salt Lake City. Gaethje trains in Colorado so he prolly has the cardio advantage in this one.
Altitude of 1,300m is probably not high enough to make a significant difference, but good point, it might be a slight advantage to Gaethje.

Today I was pleasantly surprised to see Forged Army beer. How many of you heard of it? Their https://www.forgedirishstout.com/ webpage seems to be not very creative, social medias as well. Turns out this is Conor McGregors beer ( https://shop.conormcgregor.com/pages/forged). This project is rather new on the market. What do you think about it? Will we see proper twelve 2.0 or restart in here ? Beer is more available than whiskey, so the sales seems to be higher. Another 600 millions for Conor ?

Poirier has already made enough money to retire after those couple of matches vs McGregor. Gaethje on the other hand is still hungry. Between the both of them, I think Gaethje needs this win more than Poirier does. Dunno... But that's just me. But skill vs skill, Poirier has the slight edge for sure. Anyway, here's Embedded... Dustin Poirier VS Justin Gaethje could be one hell of a fight and yes Poirier could make a decent bet for this fight but we can not take out that Justin Gaethje's will to surely get back up is something that we should not take out from him, but yeah Dustin Poirier is the favorite here so maybe people are seeing great advantage for Duistin Poirrier for betting for him, Yeah in the end I felt another KO would be a bit too much to ask for, also discovered what you said about Gaethje, willing to not submit. So that helped sway me toward an "all the way" decision. In any case, rather too late for me personally as I've already locked in my picks: Poirier on decision, even if that goes against history, I have to believe that age and luck have to ruin that streak somehow.

If 1300m is correct, then it isn't going to make any sort of measurable difference. It's extremely unlikely you experince altitude sickness at that height, and isn't all that much of a difference from where most people live. I know there's been fighters who have claimed certain venues made it difficult for them, but they're usually closer to 2000-2500m. However, again within that range you don't typically see many people effected by it; so it could just be them making bad connections, and actually not the real reason they struggled. Anything greater than 2500m is where those concerns become real, but I don't think there's many venues if any at all that reach that level, at least not in the UFC. I might be wrong, considering they're professional athletes, and even a very slight edge could possibly make a difference, but for most people you aren't going to be that effected at those elevations.

Naaah, Nate Diaz isnt the same "media size" as Conor is. He needs another fight against Mayweather Or a media guy that has a product, that his beer can make collaboration. But I doubt there is anything that goes along with beer Snacks? I doubt that Lays or Pringles gonna agree to make collaboration with Conor Btw, I dont want to see him in octagon again. He is not a fighter anymore. Poser and businessman And here's the thing, they're gonna fight in high elevation in Salt Lake City. Good that you have noticed that, but I dont think that this gonna play a significant role. I mean Poirier can easily move to Salt Lake for few weeks or month to pass acclimatization process. But for any other European fighter for example, if he is not able to allow a few weeks camp in the US, that would play a huge role. But anyway it will be more like a jet lag. Human body needs a week minimum to readjust. That is why UAE tournaments are difficult for some fighters. Jet lag + weather + stress. That is huge test for a fighter.

This is not a common fight we see where the others are more way far from their opponent because they are both strong and cannot be beaten easily by just one punch. Surely the fight would be like Islam and Volkanovski, they both fought to the last to assure the win and in the end, it was a close match. This one will most likely be that kind of fight and that will never disappoint us because right now we are not getting as many good fights from UFC as before. Maybe a new rivalry will be born if the fight will not gonna end up in submission or TKO.

I’ve never heard of it but I’m also not surprised that Conor is going for another massive payday in the beverage market. Congratulations to him. He seems to be doing everything he can to get rich while he still has the limelight. At some point though he’s going to have to win an actual fight. It’s been so long I can’t even name the year he last won a fight of any kind that wasn’t against an elderly man in a bar.

Poser and businessman I'd love to see McGregor Vs Mayweather 2, said nobody ever. You can't pull the same trick twice. But like him or not, he still has a big name, look at this very thread, we keep talking about him despite him not fighting anytime soon. But I think after his next loss the hype will die out massively. And I don't see him winning against Chandler, or anyone from the top 10 to be honest. Technically he's not that old yet and could potentially have ~3 years of a peak form, but he let himself go and is starting to look like a washed-up celebrity. Maybe moving up to welterweight would be a good move. I wish him all the best though.

I'll be going with Poirier for the next headliner. Justin is an incredible fighter, but I find he winds up too much a lot of the time on his shots, and that'll likely play into the hands of Poirier who's a lot more calculated. Obviously, Justin has the durability, and the power to beat anyone so it'll always be a good fight when he's involved. I expect a good fight, and I don't think either fighter will lose by a landslide. Obviously, a knockout is always on the cards, but I think we'll get a well matched fight before that happens, I can't see anyone getting flashed KOed in this fight. Hopefully not, I want to see a war between the two. I like both fighters, so it's going to be hard seeing one of them lose, anyway.
Dustin doesn't hurry to make things happen he waits and just throws jabs until he hurts his opponent and then that's the time he unloads the biggest shots for the KO. If Gaethje hurries to hurt him, then Gaethje is risking again. The first fight was one of the fights that is very enjoyable like it's the exchange of both boxers. It's surprising that it took 5 years to arrange a rematch. About Alex Pereira. I just read it one some comments. Is it really abuse to allow a fighter who had been knocked out terribly to fight again after just 3 months?

Anybody else watch Nate Diaz on Bradley Martin’s podcast? Brad seemed to think he could take Nate Diaz in a street fight and had some things to say about wanting to see Jake get knocked out. That caused Logan Paul to invite Bradley Martin to spar with him in Puerto Rico. This is a fight I’d actually like to see. I think personally that Bradley Martin is a chemically altered beast and would kill Logan, but we’ll see…maybe.

Well, if we are talking about Bradley Martin, taking steroids, I don’t think we will have any problems in that regard because I am also sure that Logan Paul is also on a shitload of steroids. And I don’t think this is going to be a good fight for Logan Paul. There is a high chance that Bradley Martin is actually going to end up beating Logan Paul. And that might actually create problems for Logan. Especially when he is doing pretty well selling some sugar water (prime) to kids, and also scamming is on fans for money (cryptozoo). I don’t know if Logan Paul and Bradley Martin are actually friends or not. But either way, I don’t think Logan Paul is actually going to take that fight. Because he’s just too busy scamming people.
