I was not trying to make fun of Melguizael Costa's skin (even though I find it entertaining, I think fans will 100% pay more attention on him fighting and remember him), just wanted to point that he looked unusual. I will be honest, at first, when I saw his photo on ufc page, and later some pictures of him, I was like "I dont want to be with guy and his sweat on the matt". I treated him with disdain. Like he is infectious. (does this makes me a bad person?) Went to wiki, turns out his has vitiligo. I believe some fighters have same thoughts, and he could make this as an advantage in the octagon.

For sure that was not your real intention and yeah Melguizael Costa is an entertaining dude for sure I have seen his fights for sure and it was all quite amusing, but yeah Vitiligo is not really infectious but if a person doesn't know about it maybe they will think the same but for sure there are fighters that will be curious on his condition and for sure google about it so for some reason I think you are not bad for not knowing but there are a percentage of people that may think this as weird and make fun of his skin, that is just reality,

Got my picks early for this event...  For some reason I'm kinda more confident with this event that the last one.  Dunno.  Lol.  But like the Majestic 7, that could be a bad sign.  Lol.  Prolly gonna get a worse result with this one. 

Who among you guys is leaning on Anthony Smith?  He's fighting Rountree he I think is a mf beast.  Search for his side kick to the knee vs Bukaukas.  Ooof...  Nasty!

Anthony "The Lionheart" Smith for sure will not back out of this fight but Khalil Rountree Jr. is a pure striker and I really don't know if he can adjust to having good defense on wrestling as Anthony Smith is a pretty good grappler, but I am also doubting his offensive takedown as for Khalil Rountree Jr. for sure he has good takedown defense and for some reason this could be a problem for Anthony Smith but will look even further if Khalil Rountree Jr. really has a good takedown defense

Arman definitely deserves to fight guys from the top 4, but they don't necessarily want to fight him as he's not yet hyped up to that level so it won't be a big-money fight.
I've no idea what's the plan for Oliveira and whether he'll get the next title shot or will he have to fight someone else instead. If the latter, Tsarukyan is quite likely. But if not Oliveira, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Tsarukyan Vs. Gamrot 2.

Yeap, Tsarykyan's rematch against Gamrot is highly awaited. It was a really close fight. Arman took first rounds, Mateusz second half of the fight. 1 point difference (3 if we consider all judges) is not much. That can be changed with more activity, control or landed strike. Also these two are close in ranking table. But I think ufc match makers gonna start with finding opponents for Poirier, Oliveira and Gaethji. Based on how they performed, Tsarukyan either gonna have someone of them, or a rematch with Gamrot. Even though Arman won and deserves a more high ranked opponent, he would have to wait till more popular guys figure out what they want to do next.

Judging from optics alone, it looks like Rountree is hard to take down...  The guy is kinda short but he is think and those legs are like tree trunks.  Lolol.  But according to UFC Stats he has 56% TD defense and if you remove strikers from the list, that's prolly lower.

But Smith has low TD accuracy.  Just around 28%.

I haven't seen his post fight interview but my news feed is saying that Tsarukyan wants to fight for the title next. Sport-wise, it would make more sense than Islam Vs Charles, as Tsarukyan did quite good in his first fight with Islam (lost by decision) and he improved since then.
I don't really want to see Gamrot Vs Tsarukyan, but I think it might happen as neither Gaethje/Poirier/Oliveira or Chandler would want to fight either of them. But if Oliveira is to get that title shot next, then what I'd like to see is Gamrot Vs Gaethje and Tsarykyan Vs Poirier (Gamrot and Poirier are in the same team so probably not keen on fighting each other).

Tsarukyan is currently fighting pretty well, and I think he should definitely keep improving. I will actually also say that Gamrot vs Tsarukyan does not make a lot of sense right now. Yes, it was definitely a very anticipated match but at the same time right now Tsarukyan seems to have improved a lot. so I think he will be able to get a better opponent. But the thing is as you guys said that probably some fighters might actually not want to fight against him. The situation is definitely interesting right now.

Of course it would be very risky if Oliveira fought with Arman and risking the right to fight over the belt. Unless Oliveira likes challenges like that.

For the fight for the title, Arman has indeed deserved it. But it is not easy because it seems like Arman has to run another match against the Top 5 to ensure his rights.

Actually, I am more interested in the Co-Main Event than in the Main Event Khalil Rountree Jr. is a solid fighter even though he is just 6'1" (185cm) and smaller than Anthony Smith his build is massive and I think his shorter physique is an advantage for wrestlers and because of that he is not easy to be taken down, for sure his takedown defense is decent in my opinion, and for sure Anthony Smith has decent wrestling but does his wrestling attack is enough for Khalil Rountree,

For me, that will be a very unpredictable fight and the odds might get in favored with Charles Oliveira, but they can not underestimate Tsarukyan for sure because he is a technical fighter even though he is not really shooting some takedowns he got a decent wresting defense for me I really like the age of Arman Tsarukyan he is much younger and still has some progresses to increase his performance and strategy, so for me, he got a decent chance against Arman Tsarukyan because he can surely take the edge, but for now Charles Oliveira is still recover from his injury, for sure he will return stronger for sure,

I think there's some truth to that too. Thank you for giving your opinion Bro. Oliveira is different from Volkanovski. During the Islam vs Volk 1 fight, the results of the fight were still debatable because the fight ended on the judges' table. But the Oliveira vs Islam 1 fight was indeed an absolute victory for Islam. It's just that before the Dariush vs Arman fight I thought Oliveira was a worthy candidate for the belt. But now my mind has changed. Will this be Islam vs Arman 2? Oliveira would probably turn down a match against Arman because of the small amount of money he would earn and the risk of losing the right to fight for the belt (although he has messed up in the past with injuries).

We have plenty of time to predict and discuss Tsarukyan fight, half a year as minimum I guess. So lets switch to current events better As I understand, we are skipping Song vs Gutierrez, as it general vision here of this event is boring Then we have Edwards vs Covington. High chance that fight gonna go full distance. And if this goes like this, then Colby is going to win. If during first 3 rounds Edwards did not manage to knock him out, then Colby, as usually, gonna increase fight tempo and win thanks to endless tank.

And against Dustin Poirier even though he got boxing those kicks of Arman Tsarukyan was really solid and hearing those kicks for sure it would surely hurt Poirier for sure,

Imho Poirier gonna be an easy target for Tsarukyan. For me Poirier looks like he is about to retire. Fights against Conor made him earn enough to lose motivation to win. KO by Gaethji only increased that wish to retire Sub from Oliveira showed that his bjj black belt is from toys store. Arman gonna eat him.

Yup, as pitting Tsarukyan vs Makhachev next would be anti climactic imho.  We already know Makhachev is gonna win it.  As for going against somebody like Gaethje, it's going to be another old guard vs the prospect scenario.  Kinda like when Fiziev was pitted vs Gaethje.  Lots of guys like me thought Fiziev was going to win.  Lol.  But no...  Gaethje still has more in the tank.

I think I agree with you about Khalil Rountree Jr. and how he can have a chance against Anthony Smith and I surely have a feeling that Khalil Rountree Jr. will win this fight, sure Anthony Smith has great experience in the MMA but his recent record was 3 consecutive losses and a win for a Ryan Spann which is not a great success in my opinion, while Khalil Rountree Jr. has 4 consecutive wins his last fight was against Chris Daukaus with a round 1 straight punch win for sure 1 punch on smith and it is a win for Khalil Rountree Jr.

I also like the Yadong Song VS Chris Gutierrez fight this is an interesting fight as both fighters have interesting records both fighters have something that makes me interested in watching, a great mixed fighter Song Yadong is well-rounded but even though his striking is decent his wrestling game is on another level while Chris Gutierrez is more well-versed when it comes to striking for sure this is interesting as I really don't know if Chris Gutierrez has a decent takedown defense,

I don't think Poirier is a easy target for anyone. He's still a top, top fighter. Although, you might be right that he's a little less motivated these days, but I can't say that for sure. He definitely showed up to the Conor fights that's for sure. He was definitely competitive with Justin before getting knocked out, definitely wasn't outclassed up until that moment.

@Welsh. However, after fighting Conor 2 times and earning his highest purses from those fights, he might not have the determination to challenge himself anymore. If uncle Dana announces that Arman and Dustin will fight, I will be wishing that the underdog will be Arman hehehee. @Welsh. However, after fighting Conor 2 times and earning his highest purses from those fights, he might not have the determination to challenge himself anymore. If uncle Dana announces that Arman and Dustin will fight, I will be wishing that the underdog will be Arman hehehee. Similar to Dustin Poirier's fight against Justin Gaethje, Poirier's own mind will tell his body to stop. I reckon this is because his will power is not anymore there.

Dustin is one of the best Lightweights out there. But I think I agree with what you said. Dustin has really been through a very difficult time in his UFC career. Losing to Khabib when fighting for the belt, then preferring the match against Conor to the title fight, losing to Oliveira when trying to fight for the next belt, and then losing by Knouckout against Gaetjhe who he had already beaten before. LW is very competitive.

The new fighter is also a Monster in the ranks of elite fighters in the UFC. I think Dustin doesn't have the fighting will he used to have. After all, he already earned a lot of money from his match against Conor.
