I personally don't think Barcelona need a new striker, but if Barcelona can sign a new experienced striker then that's fine too. For me, the problem is with the coach,

Barcelona managed to create 23 chances and 7 shots on target in the match against sevilla, I think if barcelona still had messi at the moment of course with that many chances like that they would be able to score a lot of goals, and it's true as you say, now barcelona need a striker who indeed able to finish the job well in front of the opponent goal, especially now that they have lost Aguero and it looks like Xavi will have to work hard in the transfer market to find a good striker.

Right, because some clubs may not be preparing for the european league at all, only if a couple of weeks before it. After the new year there is a pause in some championships, some will train, some will not, I've never been interested in that (who trains and who does not).
