Marseille - Galatasaray game ended in a 0-0 draw. We watched a quite balanced game in the first half. I was impressed by Galatasaray's big effort to get ahead also. They were really close to scoring one goal in this half but the goalkeeper saved the shot very well. In the second half, Marseille started dominating the game completely. Galatasaray were able to take only one shot which was not even on target. But they still resisted Marseille and secured one point at the end. Marseille should be unhappy with this result.

Even though Marseille dominated the game, the overall match looked stagnant. We Can All See It In The Statistics. Marseille was only able to give 3 shots on goal from 11 attempts, while Galatasaray only had 1 shot on goal from 6 attempts.
With this result Galatasaray became the temporary leader of Group E and Marseille was in third place.

My expectation in this match was that Marseille would win. Because I watched Galatasaray’s past matches. They did not see any outstanding performance, their performance was poor. Galatasaray are now the No. 10 team in the Super Lig, having won just three of those 7 matches. So my expectation was that Marseille would leave the field with a win in this match. They failed to win because of Galatasaray's defensive tactics. Galatasaray is now ranked first in Group E.

Damn it, I should have put some money on Dinamo yesterday. I had a feeling they could surprise us with a win, but I didn't expect a game like that. They let Genk have the ball and waited for their chances. We really needed to win this game to boost the morale. The next game is vs. Rapid in Wien. After a game like last night Rapid shouldn't be much of a problem, but with Dinamo you never know.

Celtic have been performing really poor in the Europa League like they did in the last season. First, they were defeated by Betis 4-3 and Leverkusen obliterated them by 4-0 away yesterday also. I know that Leverkusen are a much better team than them. They are one of the best teams in the Bundesliga in the end. But we are still talking about Celtic and they are not a weak team. They couldn't score even one goal.

I really appreciate Galatasaray's results that they got in their first two games in their group. Maybe they weren't the best in those games but they still managed to collect 4 points in two games and that's the most important thing for a team in these tournaments. However, they can't maintain their unbeaten streak forever as long as they are playing inconsistently. They should be better to be able to reach upper rounds.

As I am Austrian, I prefer Dynamo Zagreb to win in any case, so Rapid Vienna still has a small chance for promotion and 3rd place even if it is rather unlikely in the condition Rapid is in right now. But the chance is still there due to the victory of Dynamo.

As I watched the match I can agree with it. I mean just looking at statics generally give glimpse to us but draw in match was definitely not lucky one. Galatasaray defence looked pretty much solid full match with minor mistakes. I really like right back, Boey. Marseille on the other hand dominated the match wasn't very productive (even less productive than Lazio. Galatasaray deserved that point and leading position in group with that defense. But I wonder if this will keep going. Galatasaray may fail next time against Russian team if they get too relaxed with the position.

An amazing result, but rather from Napoli. Spartak is famous for being very unstable and can lose to an obvious outsider, but it can also beat any team. Spartak Moscow isnt a bad team at all . They are really solid in europe gor many years and this red card showed that they could win against big teams. I think most of us lost our bets on Napoli. But that tackle was really stupid could have even injured heavily the Spartak player

Historically, Spartak is certainly not bad, but it's terrible this season, believe me. I am so confident that English teams will do well in this season's Europa. Even though Leicester want to prove otherwise, they will still do well at the end. I see them as clubs of equal strength, it's always difficult for me to predict. I always feel comfortable to predict europa when the big guys that could not make it in UCL joins them in Europa.

I'm expecting Leicester to make up for their shortcomings of the opening fixture against Napoli, while Frankfurt vs Antwerp looks like a fixture that'd see some goals scored.

Yeah, that's how they won. I knew they'd lose, because it's always the same - they beat the strongest - they lose to the weakest. In 8 years of being a fan of this club I'm used to it, so I'm not even surprised. It's surprising that the weakest teams in the group now make the playoffs. I think things are going to change.
