Crvena Zvezda against Midtjylland today ended in 0-1 for Midtjylland for me that was the biggest surprise of the day in the Europe League,that early red card change the entire match plus later an own goal by Crvena Zvezda and another red card for them and they even had a really good chance in the last minute to draw the match but in the end lost.

FK Crvena Zvezda was the favorite in this match. They were at the top of the table with 7 points from 3 matches. But I did not like their performance against FC Midtjylland tday. I could not enjoy this match. Both teams committed many fouls, but Zvezda's players received two red cards, but Midtjylland committed 19 fouls in the match. But, Midtjylland has attacked a lot and they really deserve to win this match.

Leicester is so inconsistent this season that they weren't able to win against Spartak at home. Vardy missed penalty and foxes is risking not to reach next round.
Lazio - Marseille was good game to watch and it ended 2:2.
Dinamo Zagreb achieved very important win against Rapid.

I was also surprised that Spartak was able to draw in away match, I rather expected a major defeat for Spartak than an effective draw. Now a really funny situation has arisen in the group - the teams have 7, 6, 5 and 4 points from the first place to the second. In fact, everything will be decided in the last two rounds and each team has a chance to take first place.

Amazing performance From West ham united in Europe. Hitting 3 wins and a draw in their Europa league games and also maintaining a good shape in the Domestic league as well.  If you told me at the beginning of the season we would be joint third and top of our group in Europe i would not have believed. Look at Declan Rice  last night, Dude was outstanding against Genk last night. That was 100% world class, the tackles, Stamina, dedication, leadership, the drive and most of all dedication. It all boils down to David Moyes, how he has tried to bring out the beast in him and I want them to also be able to replicate this form in the later phase of the competition.

The Turkish teams, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, had a really great day yesterday. Maybe Galatasaray couldn't win this time and it ended in a 1-1 draw. But the Marseille - Lazio game also ended in a draw with the result of 2-2. Galatasaray are still the leader in their group with 8 points and the second, Lazio, are following them being 3 points behind. And it was a very productive day for Fenerbahce as they destroyed Antwerp by 3-0 away. They finished their competitor in the first half already by scoring 3 goals. And Olympiacos lost to Frankfurt by 1-2 home which helped Fenerbahce to decrease the point gap with the second, Olympiacos, to one.

The best game for me tonight will be the Leverkusen match against the Spanish club Real Betis!! I think that the result of a tie will be suitable for both clubs, and Celtic will work to reduce the difference and get a chance to make it among the favorites to the next round!! That's why I will place my bet in favor of Celtic and draw for Betis.

Yesterday was a draw day! Almost all the matches I bet on ended in a draw (Galatasaray, Leicester, West Ham, Lazio)... 7 matches out of 16, i.e. almost half of them ended in a draw! By the way, I have noticed that there are far fewer draws in the Champions League than in the Europa League!

In football, sometimes there are matches when the score does not reflect the real picture of the game. That is, the game may be equal, but the team wins with large gaps. Betis created chances yesterday, but they simply could not convert anything, while Bayer almost every second shot on target ended in a goal. Good performance from dinamo zagreb even if they are not as strong as recent years but genk and rapid vienna are not doing good this season so next game against genk will be a crucial one and it will be for the qualification and it seems is that dinamo will qualify since i dont see how rapid vienna team will beat west ham but anything can happen in football so its better for the  croatian team to get the 3 points.

Eintracht Frankfurt's win in the 90+2' just ruin my parlay! Olympiakos for sure didn't deserve to lose but should have been more concentrated and grabbed the chances that they have to score another goal. Anyway, they need a win in their next home game against Fener to secure second playoff place in Group D.

Leicester is disappointing this season in both Europa League and EPL but they still have chances (low is the truth) to qualify in the next phase. On the other hand, West Ham is a happy surprise but their Group is far easier and can't compare with Leicester's. I'm sure that if Leicester was in this group, will be first as well.

The two English teams failed to achieve positive results in the 4th European League match this week, but even so Westham who got a draw, are still in a fairly safe position in the standings and they only need one more win to lock up the position as group H winners , while leiceater actually had a bad run this season in the european league and even they only won 1 win which made their chances of qualifying for the next round very small, the only way for leicester now is that they must be able to get 6 points from the remaining two matches which exists  for qualifying the next round.

Galatasaray are one of the interesting teams in the tournament right now. Because they have really interesting statistics. Among the leaders of the groups, they are the least scoring team with 3 goals now. At the same time, they are the least conceding team with 1 goal also. Maybe they are not the best offensively but they are the best team defensively so far. I wonder if they will manage to keep this up in the remaining two games also. Their remaining games are against Lazio (A) and Marseille (H). And they are most likely to end the group as the leader too.

It was not a magnificent and especially high-quality match, but in matches like this, the most important result is and the game is quickly forgotten.
Petković finally played the right game, at his highest level, and Dinamo received an unexpected reinforcement in the attack, Andric.
For Rapid, that was enough, although the defense was unconvincing again, but against Genk they will have to show more.
It is obvious that the match between Dinamo and Genk will be decisive in the fight for second place in the group and Dinamo must win that match.

I, of course, will hope for a better outcome, because the Foxes are in great shape, but I'm still worried about the team's current position. Their next match in the Europa League looks like it will be against Legia, and I really want them to win it, because otherwise they will be hanging on by a thread to get out of the tournament without even playing in the playoffs.

Plus I would not say Moscow as the "weakest" team, sure they have the least points right now, but if they won last night they would have been third or second, they are only 3 points away from the top. It is not like some horrible weak team from some small nation getting 0 points type of situation, Moscow is a good team and they are doing as well as hoped.

Leicester should have still won, they are much better and have a huge finance compared to all the other teams in that group which means they should be able to get the better players and build the better roster as well. However like you said it is football and sometimes we get unexpected results, it is common.
