After the draw has been completed successfully, I see that there are really tough matches like Barcelona v Napoli and Porto v Lazio. I guess that I wouldn't watch the rest of the matches but I'm thinking of watching the Barcelona v Napoli match especially. I'm not happy to say this but my favourite here to advance is Napoli absolutely. Because Barcelona are still struggling to defeat even easier opponents in their league. If they continue to perform like this, they would have a very low chance against Napoli in this draw.

Barcelona vs Napoli later will definitely be a very exciting match because the strength of the two teams can be said to be at the same level at this time. Besides that, I am also looking forward to the Sociedad vs. Leipzig match, Leipzig will definitely beat Sociedad. I'm really looking forward to these two matches.

If the match was to be played one week later or so, then I would definitely be sure of Napoli to destroy Barcelona in even both games. But as there are still two months to go, it is very early to see something as guaranteed. Maybe Barcelona will be playing impressively then or maybe Napoli will have some important players missing. And this would also affect Napoli very negatively too. But one thing is certain that Barcelona have to work really hard as of today.

Both teams are in crisis, but if we take purely game results, then Napoli has a deeper crisis. But on the other hand, Barcelona this season did not play at a decent level at all, while Napoli had a great period when they were leading in Serie A. Therefore, if Napoli can get out of the crisis, then we can assume that they will easily beat Barcelona. In any case, I think it will be the most interesting pair in the play-offs.

If you think right here and now, in my humble opinion, Napoli looks better and more thorough than Barcelona. Another question is that there are still two months ahead, during which Xavi and the Barcelona management will not sit idly by and try to improve the game and, most importantly, the results of the club. It all depends on how the transfer company will be conducted and what reinforcements the clubs will receive. At least Barcelona President Laporta promised to help strengthen the squad in January. Another question is how all this will be combined with the financial situation and the fact that the plans to overcome the financial crisis have already included funds from entering the 1/8 Champions League, and not getting into the 1/16 Europa League, where the financial income as you progress will be a multiple of less.

As it stands now,I can not vote Barcelona to be the Europa league champions because they are not doing well at the moment,and we can't just say they can beat a team like West Ham .West Ham is one of the teams I tipped for the Europa league trophy,because they are good and they also have a good team spirit,being ready to to win at big scene.

I don’t know if Barcelona will win it, because I fear they’ll be eliminated from this competition too as Xavi has a long road ahead of him before he can rebuild Barcelona. I definitely agree with your first sentence. The Europa League was never at the forefront compared to the Champions League. And this was especially because of the format that causes worse teams in quality to exist in this tournament mostly. But for this season, it really seems like we are going to watch great rounds. We see even teams like Barcelona  and Dortmund coming from the Champions League. This kind of powerful teams can increase the quality a lot.

But apparently not, but it's true it was an interesting match for the fans of both team. Napoli lost consistency and Barcelona too. Both teams have experienced a decline in performance in their respective League but Barcelona may be the favorite considering this team is in the recovery phase with its new coach. After failing in the Champions League, Barcelona had no other choice but to strengthen their focus on two competition, namely the European League and Spanish LaLiga. These two title may still be expected even though at this time their performance can not be expected.

You are right. The league will be more competitive as teams like Barcelona and Dortmund join the Europa League. Many more people will now enjoy the Europa League live. I'm not sure if it will grow in popularity. But I would be happy if Barcelona and Dortmund had met in the semi-finals or the final.

Because I would really like to watch a quality final match in this tournament and this would increase the attention to the final match also at the same time. But I personally believe they still have a chance to qualify, Barcelona and Porto right now are no better than them either in my personal view. Apart from that, it's still Atalanta which I think Atalanta has a very good chance of advancing to the next round. But overall, I personally don't have a problem with a draw like that, about Napoli sometimes being able to play well and sometimes not being a problem for the team but fortunately Barcelona during this season is not very good also playing under high pressure is tough for the Barcelona squad.

Agreed. For the Barcelona vs Napoli matchup, I suppose that Napoli can capture a big advantage if they manage to draw with Barcelona at least. In that case, Napoli would most probably move on to the next round. And for the Porto vs Lazio matchup, I suppose that the first match will end in a draw and Lazio will beat them in the other match. These are the best cases to me as I don't think any of them will have a comfortable round.

This is fair, but it devalues the meaning of the Europa League. Essentially, the Europa League has become a sump for teams that are not good enough for the Champions League and that have "free time from the domestic league" to take part in the consolation competition. Judging by the results of the games, many clubs prioritize this tournament in second place (after the domestic championship), so the quality of the games here is not very good.

Dortmund - Rangers draw can also be an enjoyable one for us. Because these teams both are productive teams especially in their domestic leagues. And I expect the game in Signal Iduna Park especially to be superb. Dortmund are going to be the highly favourite club here in both games but surprising things can happen any time. For example, Dortmund's being eliminated from the Champions League was a big surprise.
