The knockout phase for the Europa League this season is quite interesting, because we will see a number of big matches occur early, the preliminary match between Barcelona and Napoli can be said to be a big game of the European league, I think whoever can win the match later can be said to be  a strong candidate to be able to penetrate the European league final this season.

There are not enough experienced players in the Barcelona squad. Coutinho, Dembele and Depay are talented. But I doubt if they are experienced. I can see that the biggest draws in last 32 round are Barcelona - Napoli and Porto - Lazio. Barcelona can still be favoured by the majority of people even though they are having some problems nowadays. Because there is a big interval between now and the date of the first leg. We could see a much stronger Barcelona until then. Moreover, they are facing some crucial injuries now and most of those players are gonna be back by then.

When it comes to the other draw, I believe that Lazio are one step ahead despite having a tough draw. Lazio seem to be more credible to me for now but their chance will be depending on their performance in the first leg which is an away game. If they manage to draw with Porto at least, then they can advance.

Barcelona this season is not barcelona a few seasons ago which other teams were very afraid of, in my opinion now many teams in the european league have the opportunity to beat barcelona which is currently in critical condition, maybe even later barcelona will be defeated by napoli and fall in the european league trip this season.

luckily there is sufficient time for barcelona to improve everything and get a title of the season at least rather than nothing .. as mathematically barcelona are out of la liga title race and this is one of the prestigious one that they could reach.

Ever since Gerrard left Rangers they arent playing that good but still manage to win.I think Dortmund is an aposolute favorite in this match and i dont have any doubt they will lose to Rangers. Rangers chance is at home in front of their crowd to try and grab a win.

I'm not used to seeing Barcelona in the european league, but it is what it is. In principle they have about two months to prepare for the match, maybe something will work out with a new coach, but we have to look closer to the case will be. So far I still see it as a favorite, despite the relatively good form of Napoli.

everything is still possible, now it's up to the players and their new coach whether they really want to do a little extra to be able to at least make up for the losses when they lose and get knocked out in the UCL.

Plus, I think any fan wants simple formats like: the team wins - goes forward. When I start to figure out what happens to the clubs after the group stages and how they start to shuffle between the Europa League and the Conference League, my head boils. Absolutely stupid rules allow you to start a competition in one tournament and end it in another.

agree with your what benefit team have third position on champion league standing group have eliminate and play on Europe league? I think UEFA is looking much money because many bigger team on third position will give good feedback for Europe league competition. Now have Barcelona, Dortmund and Napoli as team have good reputation and will make Europe league looks interested.

Just happening with domestic league because they running on every week and now most impact with many match postponed, primer league have three match have postponed because their player got covid 19 and I hope champion league or Europe League can running well because begin next stage on February, still have two months and hope covid 19 could be gone forever.
