That's an really interesting thought and even though it seems weird to think about FC barcelona playing in the Europa league it could make a lot of sense, also for Barca itself. At the moment it really seems like that Barca is nowhere close to the performance level of the other big european clubs like ManU, Mancity, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern and Paris and even if they can somehow manage to reach the second place in their group i think they will be eliminated very quickly in the knockout phase.
