The controversy behind Fernandes' penalty for being violated by Eteki, in my opinion, MU deserves to win. MU controlled the game, they were superior to the players.

Granada is still far below the quality of MU players, so it is not surprised for us to see MU dominates the game. However, despite this result, Granada has a good enough motivation to provide a fight against MU. Maybe in the 2nd leg, Granada will make it difficult for MU again even though they are already in a difficult position to win 3-0 to qualify for the next round.

Dinamo Zagreb managed to come all this way beating good teams and that is why there was an expectation from them, I think that was the only game with some disappointment, aside from that it looks like all the expected results happened. Maybe Arsenal getting a tie was a bit unexpected as well if you look at how they came all this way but the reality is that if you look at their league results you will see that they are not doing great neither.

This is why I would say it is not really that much of a great day for gamblers, but United won as expected and if you wagered the most on that game like everyone was talking about you probably didn't lose much money. I believe next games will be United guaranteed win, but Zagreb could try to pull a shock another time, that would be easier if they played at home next game but in this covid times what is really "home" when you have no fans.

I agree that people had a big expectation from them to get an advantageous result against Villarreal yesterday. But Villarreal played smartly and secured a 1-0 win. But the game was quite competitive though. So I can't say that Villarreal were dominant. But I don't think it's the end already. Dinamo still have a chance to make a comeback but their job will be even harder in Spain.

Villarreal were big favorites before the game, both by the bookies and by general perception.

I'm still furious about that penalty call that gave Villarreal a 1-0 win, but they overall deserved to take the 1-goal advantage to Spain.

Why will you like Ajax more than Roma, I too agree with you, because Roma might not play an interesting games with the team that will likely qualify, what made me believe in Ajax was the kind of performance they played in their first leg, it was overwhelming but goal luck weren't on them. Ajax's defeat came as a surprise to me, they were defeated at their stadium. I'm not a fan of Roma, but I like the way Fonseca manages the team, with his arrival in the team, the progress in the game is clearly visible. At first glance it may seem that Ajax is a stronger team, but the result speaks for itself, not every team can beat Ajax away.

Ajax still has a chance to pass and their odds are interestingly better @2.35 than Roma @2.8. They deserve to win and might has a chance to advance further in EL.

I agree, surprised me too. I think Roma will make it. They are strong defensively in home games. Will be an extremely hard nut to crack for Ajax although we know what they are capable of on a good day. Then again it is not the same team anymore from two years ago where they performed so well in the Champions League.

Manchester United is a very experienced side in European competitions like this. They’ve been present in the Europa league for some recent seasons now while this is the first ever appearance for Granada, full excitement and less expectation. Yeah, MU one step away to going to next phase, now they just need to be draw. Also not bad for Granada even they are lose in this round, because some big clubs in history as UCL champions failed in previous round. They must be proud with any of their results.

I will support Roma for tomorrow, because I want to see Italian club going to Final or even become champions for this season. Spain dominating UEL few years back, now we need new champion, I wish they are from Italy.

Actually I was surprised by the results of the first leg. My prediction invited who would win, but it turned out that luck was in Rome. Roma now have a difference of two away goals. They will be much more confident appearing at home. Win 2-0 for Ajax  is  difficult. Of course they have read Ajax's strategy, they will appear disciplined to advance the next round. My guess is that in this match, Ajax will probably draw. Then regarding MU vs Granada, I think MU will win.

I'd also like to see Ajax playing in the semi final. But Roma got a very surprising win in the first leg 2-1 away. But I don't think that Ajax will give up this draw. I expect a much better performance from them in the second leg. Roma have a good advantage, yeah, but nothing is certain now.

Don't know about Ajax, will be very tough for them. I agree with the rest though. Manchester won't lose, Villareal and Arsenal probably in the semis too. Manchester's offensive is decent these days with Rashford. He is so dynamic and efficient. And sooo young!

A happy penalty for Villarreal broke the game and decided the winner.
However, Villarreal failed to finish the game in the right way and left Dinamo a chance.

I think Dinamo is a great team but comparing Croatian Liga 1 to La Liga is a clear indicator who is going to qualify further here.Villareal is a good team in La Liga a league which has better quality than the Croatian league and this for me is a determining factor.

@LittleBitFunny if someone wishes to take a risky bet then betting against Manchester United might not be a bad idea, because they’re missing several first team player’s, and will be resting the likes of Bruno and Rashford. Due to this scenario I feel they can lose and crash out of Europa, but as I said before it’s a risky bet do your research before wagering on this one.
