The first match of Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool was competitive. But today's match is completely one-sided. I can see the reign of Liverpool from the beginning of the match. Atletico Madrid can not made any chance to attack. Atletico Madrid's gameplay has slowed down after Felipe was sent off. To get back on the truck they must attack, although it has the potential to concede more goals. But without counter-attacks, it is not possible to win or draw against a strong team like Liverpool.

Seems like Athletico Madrid will be left with nothing but to play Europa league.
Too bad for them this time around, lossing both home and away to Liverpool.

Borussia 1:3 Ajax. Dortmund weren't able to keep positive result till the end and Ajax take deserved win. I would say that red card and penalty even with VAR review was questionable and it had big impact to the game.
Liverpool simply outplayed Atletico again and they already won group of death.

Following Bayern and Juventus, Ajax and Liverpool were able to go to the next round with full 12 points either. It looks like Liverpool are too strong to beat by Atletico, Atletico's game is very bad and Simeone has to control his players emotions more.
In two games against Liverpool getting a red card was very detrimental, in a position behind two goals by Liverpool, Atletico got a red card
in 36 minutes. For me the game is over, because with 11 players Atletico can't necessarily beat Liverpool. Playing with 10 players is very difficult
for Atletico to score goals. Moreover, Porto managed to get a point against AC Milan, meaning Atletico must win in the remaining two games
against AC Milan and Porto. I still believe Atletico can qualify for the next round, because AC Milan played badly in Champions League,
so it's possible that Atletico can beat AC Milan. Maybe the problem is against Porto, my prediction is that Atletico will be a little difficult,
but with the quality of players that Atletico have should be able to beat Porto too.

I don't think they can beat the Porto, Atletico are in a very complicated situation and shouldn't qualify, in football anything can happen... but there aren't miracles that can be enough to make Atlético pass the round of 16, they will have to play much better than that to get their hopes up.

Atletico have a few weeks to cool off, put the team in order and maybe shine again... will it?

Liverpool were outstanding in their performance, and i am certain it is not just because of the home advantage. They have a very experienced coach who has featured in the UCL a couple of times, not just with Liverpool, and he understands the game well. They also have players in all categories who can score goals, If salah doesn't score, no problems. In between, i am not happy about the reception that was given to Suarez by the home teams fans, he really did well for them during his time in Liverpool, and he shouldn't have been booed.

I really don't know what's happening Borussia Dortmund when it comes to champions league football,  these guys have really failed to make their mark this time around... and particularly against Ajax! This team has really given them a tough time such that from the two games played between themselves the Germany giants have not picked a single point from this fixture what a shocker for me! I hope their uefa aspirations are still alive because I see them being knocked out at this stage!

Despite having so many star players in the squad, the PSG team does not seem strong. Their performance is still weak. Despite having skilled strikers like Neymar Mbappe and Di Maria, they cannot play well. If Messi was not injured, maybe PSG could have attacked something better today. However, I am completely disappointed with Neymar's performance. We haven't seen a better performance from Neymar this season. Neymar should be more diligent. He has played very well in the Brazil team this year but so far he has not been successful in the PSG squad.

I don't even know what is yet to be done in the PSG team again. They have all kinds of stars to win every game, but they just do what they like. I was pissed seeing how Neymar and Mbappe were just walking for the whole match, no tracking back. How can you be tying your lace when the opposition is running directly to your goal. I feel bad for Nuno Mendez because Mbappe did nothing to help him at all. Mendez had to run forward and back while Mbappe will turn to snail mode each time he loses the ball. I was gutted because I hear people say that Ronaldo and Messi don’t track back and you are criticizing legends of the game who did everything for their teams when they were younger but nobody says anything to Mbappe who is much younger and has more running in him.

I'm happy to see what they have achieved so far both in the EPL and in the UCL especially in the UCL they are very impressive no doubt LFC has a big chance as UCL champions this season, but it's still too far because the journey still long, LFC have tough competitors which play well too.

The AC Milan team has no interest in doing well in the Champions League. They are completely focused on the Serie A title this season. And they are playing very well in Serie A. Inter Milan are looking to do well in both Atlanta and Juventus Serie A and the Champions League, and so all three teams are now behind Serie A behind Napoli and AC Milan. In Serie A, Juventus are now 16 points behind AC Milan.

That's right, Liverpool this time to be even greater and more certain to be a strong contender for the title in both the UCL and in the EPL. I personally think the UCL final now might be Liverpool vs Bayern Munich because it seems like those are the only two teams that have looked perfect so far both in the UCL and in their respective leagues. Also, with a structure like this, it is clear that Liverpool will always get stronger opponents from the group stage until later in the knockout stages. It will be very extraordinary if Liverpool reach the final, I just hope Klopp can make the right rotation to make a more consistent team, because it's a shame if this hard work doesn't give the highest achievement at the end.

They have not too good form from Ligue 1 to Champions League and their wins are not too convincing like in the past. They have more troubles in Ligue 1 in the last and current seasons. Are their players distracted too much to Champions League and lack of ambition to win more Ligue 1?

In Champions League, they did not play as well as expected after some good transfers.

PSG's game is stable, but they are playing well I can't say that. Because they have a lots of star players in their squad, at the same time PSG gives them high wages. Our expectations from them are much higher. But while they are stable as a team, they are not strong. I would say it's a coach's failure. The coach could not sort out his match strategy properly. He is not friendly with the players. I think so. Otherwise we could have seen better gameplay from such a squad of theirs.

Dortmund have to admit it now, they are not good against similar playing style teams,,, and worse when they are down to 10 men. It seems without Haaland anyway they have to try to play a different style of football because even with Reus and Bellingham they look like they cannot deliver from the left side.

The only interesting thing about the last UEFA Champions League round was CR7 saving Manchester United from losing against Atalanta.The other matches were no surprise to me.
I guess that the English teams(except Man United) are still dominating European football.Liverpool,Man City and Chelsea are favorites to win the trophy.Only Bayern can stop them.The rest of the German teams(Borrussia,Leipzig and Wolfsburg) are pretty much mediocre.
PSG and all the Spanish teams are not in their best shape,so they are no match to the English teams.
Italian teams can be unpredictable,but the strongest Italian team-Juventus usually doesn't win the tournament.They have lost many finals so far.

Ajax played an awesome match against Dormund. From losing in the first half, to winning the match full time. They made a massive come back in the second half and probably scored 3 goals, which enabled them to achieve 3 points against Dormund in an away match. Although, Dormund had a red card in the first half, and also Haaland didn't play the match, this made the match more tough for Dormund to win. And they ended up losing with 1-3 score.
A great winning from Liverpool, I never expected them to win with clean sheet, I literally thought, Atletico Madrid will score, but Liverpool performance was indeed impressive. While Atletico Madrid ended the match will 0 shot on target, very surprising.

Ajax and Liverpool also secured their way out of the group in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League with their victories. Hummels' removal caused a lot of questions, considering that Antony himself stepped on Hummels' foot. Therefore, this fact may slightly explain the comeback that Ajax made. Atletico Madrid failed to score a single point in the matches with Liverpool, which looks quite surprising and has already complicated Atletico's struggle to get into the next stage of the Champions League and allowed Porto to reach second place in the group. Also, Milan still had chances to continue the fight, but still the draw with Porto greatly reduced these chances.

So, it just means Ajax has beaten Dortmund twice within some weeks.

I am yet to know what works the best for any club;
Is it to have a solid defence like Chelsea, such that any match you managed to score 1 or 2goals you have won.
Or to have good attack, like Liverpool that will get much goals, even if you equalise, it will result to GG and win for them.
I am asking because Ajax ability to score much goals have been helping them even in their league.

Liverpool are in a very good scoring form. They are also linking up very well in the midfield area. The game is at Anfield and I am sure it will be totally different from the last match. Griezmann is a key man absent for Atletico but despite that I think Simeone will roll out Joao Felix and Suarez in attack and that certainly will put Atletico in contest but I think Van Dijk and co. in defense should able to hold them down.

I predict 3-1 for Liverpool.

Good prediction in the end for you, it was a 2-goal difference anyway, but I was also right that winning big would be difficult. Even playing against 10 men Liverpool could not score another goal and if not for VAR you would actually get the exact 3-1 score~

Klopp just wanted to qualify that's all and that's perfectly understandable so they can focus on premier league while giving some of their other players a chance to shine against big teams still in the remaining 2 games.
