Bangladesh is trying their best to put some runs on the board so that the people who took tickets for the first 4 days will get the opportunity to come to the stadium .

The Indian pacers are too much for the Bangladeshi batsman and the way in which the bowlers are delivering i would like to see them bowl in green wickets and they can pose a challenge to any team in the world, if this bowling unit along with Bumrah travel to New Zealand in their next tour then they can make history by winning the series as i am pretty sure they never won that in New Zealand.

To face a team like Bangladesh, India should have picked a team without their main bowlers and with India combining their world class bowling attack is not a match to sides like these, consider Jasprit Bumrah is considered the best strike bowler in the world right now and India is lethal even without him, i have not seen India going with an all out pace attack and that would be a new experience and i expect that when they are playing in green wickets.

Indian pace attack is not showing any mercy to Bangladesh and they lost the match within the first day and the match will long as long as India extend their declaration.

The quality of umpiring has gone down with improvement in technology and that is what i see from these events, earlier in this test one of the Pakistan batsman was given out to a no ball and now twenty no balls being bowled and the on field umpire not even gave anyone of them shows the quality of umpring in the down slide.

I don't even see the need for Bumrah at this point since this trio is performing admirably and the current New Zealand squad is not exactly strong.

The Indian bowling department is the most potent in the world right now with spin and fast bowlers are performing well in Sub continent pitches and like everyone else i would like to see them test aboard and then we can see the quality of these match winner.

Bro, You broke the link (fixed it). some might think that i am spreading rumors lol.

IMO the main reason of umpiring standard going down is "Over dependency on technology" nowadays umpires are very careless, they don't pay much attention to details such as no balls. they know we already have rule of checking no-balls after every dismissal and if any chance LBW etc goes wrong then Both teams have DRS.

The ball might swing in the evening and it all depends upon how well the Bangladesh bowlers are going to take advantage of the pitch and condition, but one things i did not understand is that when Liton Das was injured another player came out to bat who was not in the team, when did this rule changed as they start allowing substitute players and Mehidy Hasan came out to bat, so if Liton Das gets better whether he will be allowed back in the team to play or Mehidy Hasan will continue.

You are right its very bore cricket specially from Pakistan many was expecting some resistance from them but bowling is completely sucks and no bowler able to have something for team all are totally poor Nasim is going to end his career very earily as he start very earily. In New Zealand vs England for me England is now favorite for winning because they have some good and quality bowling which was concern for me.

There could be plenty of chances for that as that Kolkatta Eden garden pitch is known for supporting spinners on the later part of a test match. But, India must be a king on their own soil which means there could be very little chances for Bangladesh to bounce back in this test match and in this series. India is more likely to continue their record breaking unbeaten home streak. Bangladesh is missing few key players which must be the reason why India is able to take a lead on the first day of a test match.

India is basically the currently ranked first in ICC test ranking which could elaborate anyone who are all still wondering how India is unbeaten in home soil for years. The current pace attack of India is missing their regular bowlers still they are getting credit like best pace bowling attack of all times of India. I disagree. Shakib and Tamim are not exactly amazing batsmen in tests and they usually perform well in the ODI format which is why their inclusion would have probably delayed their inevitable defeat at the hands of a rampaging India.

Also, are you forgetting the fact that this team made history earlier this year by defeating a team like Australia in their own backyard? This team can defeat any team currently(Strong or Weak).

The main advantage for India right now is the bowling attack they have when it comes to pace variation and the spinners available to win matches in any pitch and they have the batsman to put some scores on the board and so is the reason they are a formidable side right now, when India won in Australia they were missing Smith from the team if i remember correctly and he will make a huge difference in a match if he performs, the New Zealand tour is a good challenge for team India as they are yet to win a series in New Zealand and this is the perfect team to change that history as well.

Both Jofra Archer and Jack Leach looks unimpressive and in total they have gone for 138 runs from 46 overs and took just one wicket.

And there was a big surprise in the Australia vs Pakistan test. Steve Smith got out for..... just 4 runs!!! Can you believe that? But Pakistan is still in dire straits, as Australia has build up a lead in excess of 150 runs, with 7 wickets in hand. The outcome is all but certain. The only question is for how long the Pakistani batting lineup can survive against the Australian pacers in the 3rd innings.

New Zealand bouncing back and it is expected as they have a long batting line up and majority of them made runs and the New Zealand batsman are testing the patience of the English bowling line up and Jofra cannot bowl all the overs with intensity.

Smith completely played the wrong line and got cleaned bowled, even Kohli got out for a duck recently after getting a double century in the match before that, so the battle is on and now Kohli is still in the crease against Bangladesh and most probably he will go on to score another huge century.

That's ridiculous batting performance from Bangladeshi batsman, it was not unexpected though. The historical match have no much exciting; a one sided match. I am thinking about the people who bought the tickets for the 4th day. Will BCCI refund them  I guess match will not roll over such long.

I doubt anything good would happen. Tamim has passed his worst performance in the world cup. Little Mouse and others were talking mucn about his existence in the team. Well, Shakib may add some value for the team. I really feel sorry for him. He don't deserve such punishment. BCB could consider him giving chance.

One more doubt is that, is there a rule change in Test cricket that they can have a substitute player if someone is injured, during Ashes second Test i saw Marnus Labuschagne coming in to bat instead of Smith as he was injured and i did not see them announcing the 12th man, can they select anyone in the squad randomly, anyone having any idea regarding that.

Yeah, this is new rule under only concussion replacement - suspected concussion replacement. where substitute can bat, ball or WK in this scenario

ICC Approves Like-for-like Substitution for Concussion in All International Cricket

In a landmark decision, the International Cricket Council has approved a like-for-like concussion substitute in men's and women's international cricket and first-class cricket worldwide from August 1, the start of the first Ashes Test.

The decision was taken after a two-year trial of concussion replacements in Australia's domestic cricket competition, the Sheffield Shield. A player who has been concussed either while batting, bowling or on the field can be withdrawn from the game and be replaced subject to approval by the match referee.

The ICC stated that the decision on replacement will be made by the respective team's medical representative.

1. Nayee Hasan replaced by Taijul Islam                        against India (Shami)
2. Liton Das replaced by Mehidy Hasan                          against India (Shami)
3. Dean Elgar replaced by  Theunis de Bruyn                  against India (Umesh Yadav)
4. Darren Bravo replaced by Jermaine blackwood            against India ( Bumrah)

Smith got out for 4 runs in the ongoing match against New Zealand. 1 player is not enough to change the result which is why his inclusion would not have changed the result between India and Aus and is simply an excuse to justify their loss.

Do you think this is the 1st time he got out for such a low score? This is not a big deal since Warner and Marnus have basically taken the match away from Pak at this point.
