It wasn't part of WTC but one off side project of Kiwis before they tour Sri Lanka and India for 5 test matches. Practice match for New Zealand so they won't be hurt much except they wasted their 5-7 days by sitting duck

But it's a bummer for Afghanistan, they hardly get to play the test match and when they do get one. It's facing a complete washout due to rain and other factors as well.

First Sri Lanka team A won the series of ODI against South Africa A but lost the last match. However, they won the series and it is a lot. After that they beat South Africa A in Test match. The Sri Lanka A team is on fire, they could do anything right now. South Africa is the name of a very big team but right now they are losing to Sri Lanka A team. Sri Lanka have mood to win the red ball game as well. Now, after the break of three days, there will be the next match as schedule on 15th September Sunday. In that match, I want to see Sri Lanka winning again.

The squad that India has announced for the two Test matches against Bangladesh shows how serious India is taking this series against Bangladesh. Not just limited to team announcements, a significant number of people have bought tickets with huge sums of money to watch this Test match between India and Bangladesh. Bangladesh recently finished the Test series against Pakistan where Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in two matches to whitewash. Basically this is the only reason to take Bangladesh so seriously. The match between India and Pakistan in the equation is highly competitive but currently the hype can be seen in the match between Bangladesh and India. Hopefully Bangladesh can compete like that against India in the two Test matches.

There is no opportunity to underestimate the opponent. The adversary may be relatively weak but to think of him as weak is a sign of stupidity and incompetence. When you think your opponent is weak, you will also be mentally weak and it is natural that your opponent will take advantage of this.

As an equation, Bangladesh is relatively weaker team than India. But you would be wrong to ignore Bangladesh's recent performances. Maybe the Indian team has world class bowlers and batsmen, do you think Bangladesh is far behind India? Bangladesh's bowling unit is capable of competing with India's bowling unit. It would not be wrong to even say that Bangladesh's bowling unit may be stronger than India's bowling unit. But the batting department of Bangladesh is far behind the batting department of India. Just because they did bad in the past does not guarantee they will do bad in the future. If the Bangladeshi batsmen can do well then India vs Bangladesh match will be exciting and competitive. To be honest in this unofficial match I thought that the way South African A team batting maybe they are going to win this match but after their first innings when Sri Lankan A started their first innings batting they also did really well But they couldn't cross South African A team's 372 runs before they were bowled out for 323 runs. Sometimes I thought that South African team might perform well again in the second innings and win this match but I saw Sri Lankans did very well and easily  The South African team was all out for just 124 runs.  And in this incident the entire match prediction has been turned upside down and as a result Sri Lankan team has won.
However, through this match, the Sri Lankan team gave a hint to the South African team from the beginning that they are not a less powerful team, so if they are taken lightly, the South African team will lose to them.

As far as we know, Indian newcomers will be given places in the Bangladesh and India Test squads, but the squad gives a clear impression that India is taking Bangladesh very seriously.
However, we as supporters of Bangladesh want to say that Bangladesh is currently energized after defeating Pakistan, so we wish that if they do not win the test matches with India, they draw.

Bangladesh team regained their strength after winning against Pakistan team, because the margin of victory against Pakistan team was very high. But the Bangladesh team was more likely to win against India, although in the past Bangladesh and India were not guaranteed to win these matches due to political reasons between Bangladesh and India.

In the 45th game of County Championship Division Two, in the second innings, Yorkshire made 379 runs and set the lead of 281 runs. Excellent batting by Jonathan Tattersall played 126 runs innings and Matthew Fisher scored 88 runs. Yorkshire team lost their 8 wickets on 210 runs, then Matthew Fisher and Jonathan Tattersall made a partnership of 138 runs, which helped them to post good runs. The Leicestershire team failed to take off these runs. They made only 209 runs in the second inning. Credit goes to the Yorkshire bowlers. They bowled brilliantly in both innings. What a great spell by George Hill that took 6 wickets. Matthew Fisher and Ben Coad took 6, 6 wickets in this test match If seen be it batting or bowling, be it fielding or management Yorkshire team has showed excellent performance in this match and they won by a big margin of an innings and 72 runs

South Africa A vs Sri Lanka A, 1st Unofficial Test match was ongoing but meanwhile Sri Lanka A won by 6 wickets against South Africa A team. In the 1st inngins both team did very decent amount of runs where South Africa A team scored 372-10 runs, Matthew Breetzke(129) did his century, Marques Ackerman(69) also played well and Eshan Malinga got 4 wickets. Besides Sri Lanka A Scored 323-10 runs, Oshada Fernando (121) did his century, Beyers Swanepoel got 4 wickets. Match was going fine but in the 2nd inngins, unfortunately South Africa A lost all of their wickets within 124-10 runs, Isitha Wijesundera is the main game changer who destroyed them by taking 7 wickets lol. That's why Sri Lanka A team started batting again and easily surpassed the Targeted runs and won the match. Congrats Sri Lanka A  team for archive the victory and having such skillful bowler like Isitha Wijesundera.

In this I expected Sri Lanka to win and that's what happened in this match.  If you look, both the teams have played well in one innings and performed poorly in one.  South African batsmen have scored 372 runs in the first innings which could not be completed by the Sri Lankan batsmen.  And in the second innings, South Africa scored 124 runs and Sri Lankan batsmen scored 174.  And it has won Sri Lanka.  If the South African batsmen had played like the first innings, they could have won this match.  But due to the pressure on their batsmen and not playing well, the target could not become difficult and they will lose the first match.  Not so good performance from Sri Lanka.  But the bowlers on both sides have played very well, they have stopped runs on both sides and have also taken wickets.  Had South Africa's target been higher in the second innings, their bowlers could have worked harder and put Sri Lanka under pressure.  But luck did not support them and they lost the match.

Sri Lanka a team won the odi series and now in test series, they won the 1 st game and I expected that they did not win this game after seeing the runs of Sri Lanka a team in 1 lineup and same South Africa a team. Isitha bowlers from Sri Lanka a team helped them a lot by taking 7 wickets in 2 nd lineup of South Africa a team. They made a good pressure to batsman of South Africa a team and all batsman of This team was dismissed for 124 runs only. Same team made 372 runs in 1 st lineup. But player of game award goes to Oshada because he played very well in both lineup and in 1 lineup, he made 122 runs in 146 balls and in 2 nd lineup, same batsman made 80 runs in 122 balls and hitted twelve 4s. Congratulations Sri Lanka a team for successful win and hope Sri Lanka a team will perform same and win more games.

Indian bowlers are my favorite abc especially Bumrah is my favorite one because he played excellent in all formats and his team won many matches due to his positive attitude.I also like Rohit Sharma who played in every format and he is famous player of the World due to his fast batting skills and he has capacity to hit 200 + runs in all formats.

This was a huge disappointment for the cricket fans back in Afghanistan, as they were facing New Zealand for the first time. Next, Afghanistan is travelling to the United Arab Emirates to take part in an ODI series against South Africa. Since they will be playing at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, I don't think that they will face any issues related to rain there. New Zealand will stay in this format, as they have test series against Sri Lanka lined up next.

Now this test match is officially abandoned. There was so much rain that we did not get the chance for the toss even. Also today it was raining and umpires just had to call off this match. I am so disappointed because it was the first ever test between these two nations and it just went away without any action.

Now Afghanistan will go to Sharjah to play the ODI series with South Africa while New Zealand will go to Sri Lanka where they will play the test match which is scheduled as the part of World Test Championship.

I was looking forward to watching the Afghanistan vs New Zealand test match. Afghanistan don't get many opportunities to play Tests and they got the ICC's ability to play Tests a few days ago, this match was undoubtedly the most important for Afghanistan. For the first time, Afghanistan got a chance to play a Test match against a Test champion team like New Zealand. But due to lack of luck, they missed this opportunity. They can blame themselves for this.

Personally I like both Afghanistan and New Zealand. But comparatively I like New Zealand more. This match was not very important for New Zealand but it was very important for Afghanistan. With the match abandoned, the New Zealand team will travel to Sri Lanka to play a 2-match Test series which is part of the Test Championship. I will definitely support New Zealand and I hope that New Zealand will beat Sri Lanka in 2 matches. Lol not sure if anyone wanted this but we have the first washout match of the 21st century. Tells you more about the readiness of the stadium in modern times and undercooked administration.

I read somewhere (not verified) that ACB was planning to go for an ODI match, just to compensate fans because the first day of the test match was completely sold.

If you have seen this match, you know their performance.  LEICS batsmen have scored very little in both innings with no effort and slow pace.  If you look at the first innings of their batsmen, only 98 runs have been scored.  And if they play with good performance and speed, they can score well.  But the opposing team completed their target in the first innings and won the match.  And in the second innings they played a little bit well, but that didn't help either.  They need their batsmen to improve their pace and performance and try to play the match with interest and effort so they can win the match.  The pace and performance of the YORKS batsmen has look very good.  Congratulations to them for this win and may they continue to play with similar pace and efficiency and win matches.LEICS had no interest while playing due to which they could not play well in the match.

The match was abandoned due to rain and the groundsmen were very busy taking care of the pitch/wicket due to rain. However, the Greater Naida Cricket Stadium in New Zealand receives more or less heavy rainfall throughout the year and this match was completely abandoned as it took place during this monsoon.

Bangladesh is not very strong in Test format, but we saw that Bangladesh performed well against Pakistan in the last Test series and Bangladesh's game has improved. So if Bangladesh can perform as well as the last Test series against India then Bangladesh can compete against India. But till now Bangladesh has not won any match against India. India is much stronger than Bangladesh team, India is number two in Test format. I will keep India team ahead based on past and present performance. But as a supporter of Bangladesh, I want the Bangladeshi players to perform well and compete against a strong team like India. Bangladesh announced the team squad. Hope Bangladeshi players will perform well. Let's see if Bangladesh can do well against India.
