In the match between Netherlands versus Scotland, it was an interesting match between them. Netherlands won the match quite easily in the end. I think the associate countries are showing good performance in this tournament, and ICC should actually give proper funding to them and also increase the number of teams in the World Cup.

May be the bad captaincy and bowling choices by the Scotland captain was a protest against the funding by ICC and thereby ruling them out of the World Cup .  

No point in adding more teams in the World Cup and expect interesting and entertaining matches in ODI, the best must compete to have any entertainment and for the sustainability of the entire tournament.

I just simply don’t think that there are enough teams in the cricket World Cup. The problem is test cricket, it is almost dead. One-day International cricket needs a lot of time. At least the World Cup is really time-consuming. But in the T-20 format, I think it is possible to increase the number of teams. And T20 is also the format in which it is possible for the associate nations to actually perform well. These associate nations are actually showing good performance in this World Cup qualifier. I think at least 12 teams in the ODI format World Cup and probably increasing the number of teams to 20 in the T-20 format World Cup makes a lot of sense.

For those who are wondering what are the long-term implications of qualifying/not-qualifying to the world cup for both Netherlands and Scotland, I would provide some stats. Associate nations who qualified to the 2015 ODI World Cup received an additional funding of $1 million each. Netherlands is likely to receive this amount in 2023. Ever since Srinivasan/Pawar took over the ICC and BCCI two decades back, matches between associate nations and full members are almost inexistent. Netherlands will get a golden opportunity to play 9 matches against full members, since they have qualified. Scotland on the other hand have no ODIs scheduled against full members until 2027.

In these Qualifier matches only two matches are left one will be Played today between Srilanka vs West Indies this is like a regular match because two teams already selected according to the points table. But here Srilanka still has the chances to win according to the previous performance.

IMO, Scotland was the better team by a good distance. They lost only because of poor captaincy. First of all, they should have easily made 300 batting first. However in the last 6 overs they could make only 43 runs, at 7 runs per over. Tomas Mackintosh was scoring quick runs, but he got no support from the other end. If they had made another 20-25 runs (which they should have done), then Netherlands would have never qualified for the world cup. And while bowling, the retarded Richie Berrington refused to give a second spell to Chris Sole. If you make these sort of retarded decisions, then you don't deserve to qualify for the world cup.

Bas de Leede was hero for the winning team with his all round performance, first he takes five wickets and then have very aggressive century which help his team for having spot into world cup while they lost 4 wickets I was feeling it's going to be easy win for the Scotland but suddenly poor captaincy and bowling give good chance to Dutch, and now they have flight for the world cup after thrashing Scottish in this last game for these both countries into this event.

The match b/w UAE and USA was thrilling till the end.  This time Asif Khan performed very commendably, where he played exceptionally well with Sharma and Basil Hameed.  Even the USA team showed some impressive performances But their bowling was not right which is a major reason for their loss.  To win, the team must perform well both in batting and bowling and sometimes luck also plays an important role in the game.  Unfortunately luck did not favor them this time.

The way the USA played was absolutely commendable. Although they can't win. Players often get nervous when batting against a big target. But the USA players batted well in this match. Unfortunately, the USA lost by just 1 run. But probably no one imagined that the USA would put up such a tough fight in this match. Team USA has some very talented players. If these players get proper support then they will become more experienced. And we'll see more great gameplay from Team USA in the future.

In this event USA was the worst team as they fail to have any win but still in this last match they have done good job and fight hard till last ball 11 required in last over but still they manage to score 9 runs with lost of two wickets create good drama in this game, but UAE win the game and have end of this event on high note.

After winning toss UAE done good job and score 308 runs with the help of the Asif Khan big inning 151 which contain six sixes in reply USA which lost few quick wickets but still they were on their best have good fight middle-order give good stand and have good chance for the win of this match but fail with now things needs good changes and improvement in all departments if they want to have better chance for the future in this game.

Bas de Leede is just 23 years old and he has a bright future ahead of him. And furthermore, he is a home-grown player. He of Dutch origin and was born and brought up in the Netherlands. Netherlands played extremely well this time and they deserve to be in the world cup. Players like Bas de Leede, Logan van Beek and Scott Edwards put a lot of effort this time. Feels bad for Scotland, but it was due to the stupidity of their captain that they are out. Chris Sole was not given a second spell and that allowed the Dutch batsmen to score the required runs.

UAE have done well this season but Asif Khan came in at the last minute to score a big run. But still he remains undefeated in this match can ever be imagined as Asif Khan collected almost half of the team's runs and took the team to the winning end. It is a great achievement for United Arab Emirates to find a good batsman like him. The United States, on the other hand, cannot forget the 1-run defeat.

There was a lot of faith that the United States would be able to meet the target that the UAE had given. And USA almost made up for it but lost the match by just 1 run. I predicted from the early performances that the match would be a tight one and it was. the match was so hard fought that the match was almost going to be a draw but UAE won the match by just 1 run. It is very nice to see such a game. USA had a lot of effort and they put in a very good performance which is really commendable
