Instead of feeling sad for them, I would say that they should be ashamed of this performance. I wonder what would be the feeling of the legends WI crickets like Brian Lara or Chris Gayle on their country worst ever performance.

What can these legends do about the team selection and how they are performing, all they can do is to get disappointed and hopefully they will be able to regain their old glory.

Almost every player of West Indies have got the transition to perform well in the shorter form of cricket. There is big expectation from the West Indies team, but they aren't good with their performance in all format of cricket. The era of Lara was the best for West Indies in test cricket. ODI cricket used to be good, but there won't be much of consistency in performance. In recent years West Indies have gained good progress in T20 cricket.

However, this time they will have to play against Sri Lanka, and that will be the toughest match for the Netherlands team. As we all know that team Sri Lanka is a top-class team and winning against them isn't as easy as winning against West Indies or Scotland. The match will be a very entertaining one and we will enjoy it a lot. I'm still in belief that Sri Lanka will win the match, but the Netherlands team plays unexpected matches and that's why this time someone should be careful while betting on any of the teams.

These legends are equally responsible for the poor performance of the team. They should have contributed to building the infrastructure and training their successors so that the team would have not fallen apart after their retirement from the international cricket.

BCB president himself talks unnecessarily to the media. This is one of the reasons why Tamim Iqbal announced his retirement today. Coach Hathuru asked Tamim if he was fit for the match or not. I will check my fitness by playing a game Tamim said. Then Hathuru had a call with BCB President and said Tamim said he will check his fitness by playing a game. The prime minister had three hours meeting with them, and The Prime Minister asked Tamim to reverse his decision and return to cricket. The Prime Minister offered him 45 Days of rest to recover his fitness and freshen his mind.

I may say No to everyone else, but when it's the country's most respected person, the Prime minister, I could not say No to her - Tamim said.

BCB Presiden Nazmul Hassan Papon said; I know if I could talk to Tamim face to face, there will be a good ending. He reversed his decision. He has not retired anymore. He is likely to be back in cricket in Asia Cup.

Tamim scored a total of 170 runs in the last 8 ODIs. He collected 21.2 runs in fours per match. But the important thing is that out of these 8 matches, 7 matches were against Ireland and one was played against Afghanistan. He failed to perform well even against a team like Ireland. Shanto's performance is better than Tamim's. And so I can't find any reason to give Tamim a place in Bangladesh's best XI. But maybe Tamim is an experienced batsman. I believe Tamim Iqbal is an old cricketer and experienced. But nowadays Tamim Iqbal is treated badly by various people who act as his antagonists. If you see his contributions in the big picture, you won't be able to deny his contributions. He has the ability to prove himself. Yes, his performance was not good in the last couple of matches. But, He always plays well In big ICC events. If you choose fairly new players for ICC events, I don't know if they will perform well or not.
