I've just read it from someone, it's not an original opinion of mine. It is true that their games are becoming boring and we as fans, can tell it to them and I'm sure that the management is also aware of it. But they don't do anything anymore as they're allowing those good trades for the SMC/MVP teams while making the other teams a farm team. Well, it's not going to change as long as there are still the franchises that are staying in the league.
Oh, I see! Well, I also searched for that rumor if actually the ROS might leave the league to make sure and I found nothing. I hope they won't because ROS will be such a waste if they do that, this team already grabbed 2 championship titles and made several appearances of Finals. And as usual, those said teams are the ones that is controlling of the games now that's why the league has many issues. So, if another teams aside from SMC/MVP will leave the PBA then there's nothing to look forward anymore. Let's just hope for the best and the setting would be different after the announcement from Aces. Well, I've just read another news(rumor) about a guest team from abroad who will be playing in the PBA next season, that's the Bay Area Phoenix. If this is going to happen for real then there are two Phoenixes already but again, that's just a rumor that I've read again from a basketball FB page. That's possible for Governors Cup and Commissioners Cup. Is this the team from Korea or something related to the partnership of PBA and the Korean Basketball league? Not searching yet that rumor so not sure if on what league does that team came from. I don't see any negative reactions from the fans if that will happened. Let's see how it goes running from a whole single season.

Lose my bet on that Blackwater vs NLEX game, i thought that 11.5 point spread was huge but Blackwater just could not find the bucket when needed. I think this losing-streak record will continue for a long time and they may exit the PBA on a losing note. Have the chance to watch TNT vs Ginebra game on television last night and ohh man, this Mikey Williams is a real deal. I mean he can score whenever he want against a King's defender. If he continue to play this way, there's a high possibility that he will tie the record of Benjie Paras for the only player to have captured the ROY and MVP on the same season. I used to remember way back when Dynamite Danny was eyed to tie that record. Now it's Williams and if this happened. It will be more interesting, he's not that big compared to both Paras and Siegle. They both have the capabilities to lift the entire team while with Williams. He's more on a scoring. Machine, don't get me wrong, but I'm also delighted with how Williams is creating his shots, like what you have said he's doing the damage whoever guarding him. Who knows if fate is for him in winning both MVP and ROY.

More foreigner player and now an additional foreign while we have a lot of Filipino players that can enter on PBA. They should rebrand PBA because they are making the franchise so poor. Its more on an advertisement of company team right now rather a sports. I can't wait to see only the 2 big company remain in the PBA while small company exit 1 by 1 due to lack of interest and waste of money to a tournament that they can't win. Welcoming foreign teams is a sign that PBA is slowly dying.

Welcoming foreign teams is a sign that PBA is slowly dying.
You have a point, they are looking for a partnership to expand their league or their business because they understand that it will never work if they will stick with the current setup that the SMC and Pangilinan are the major investors. With the partnership, the league will become more competitive but at the same time it will also limit the talents to participate, maybe some of them will have room in the MPBL.

I don't know what's gonna happen with this partnership, but it seems like PBA already knows where they are going and they need this kind of partnership. I don't want to conclude though, I will just watch what would happen and still enjoy the PBA season, especially the Alaska which is playing their last season.

Also, maybe I can be wrong on it and gullible if someone just posts fake news and I'm too gullible to share it on here so I'm sorry with that. Welcoming foreign teams is a sign that PBA is slowly dying.
Still unsure with that and that's basically one last resort if ever they're going to welcome them. But as I've said, maybe I'm just gullible with that post that I've seen and due to excitement I shared it here even though there's no confirmation yet.

Welcoming foreign teams might be a sign that the PBA is dying but lets just focus on the positive side on it I think. More teams = more players that can play in the league. Yes it might be limited but that would be better compare to how PBA is right now where its only SMC and MVP that are battling when it comes to Finals which makes the league very boring already to watch. More teams = more competitive. More teams will give more opportunity to other players who are talented. They have a chance to showcase their talents in the league since there are more teams already. Foreign teams might be a sign but I think its more of a good thing at least for some. One thing more is that the league needs this because they already see that the league is dying because of what they are doing. I would love to see more teams playing though.

PBA is moving up to another level, and with that, MPBL will replace them to be pure Filipino talents playing against each other. NBA style, so it's also exciting to watch, people will appreciate it more once it's televised to the popular stations, I hope that will happen soon and we will have our thread here to discuss MPBL.

Magnolia is really impressive this season and its to hard to predict who will be the first team to beat Meralco, it can be Blackwater, who knows right?

While they are still in this league better to save the last dance, Alaska will soon be partway with the league and each game now for Alaska, die-hard fans will be the remaining games that they will see the franchise uniforms. with regard to the partnership, we never know what will be the impact once it's already working inside. We never know but it's also possible, with a good amount behind mafia can deal it up

I think that partnership is the last resort of the PBA but as long as they can sustain and gain profit with how it is running right now then it will continue. This season is more exciting and more competitive because of the imports but it will be different if its an All-Filipino Cup. I think MPBL is on its way to be televised soon and delayed because of election. One thing more is that its good to watch another league aside from PBA. Magnolia is still undefeated and which team will give their first loss to them?? BLACKWATER will be the one who will give their first loss to them that's for sure and I might even bet for them if BlackWater and Magnolia will match-up . Kidding aside, I think the Meralco Bolts can give their first loss to them. They defeated all the strong teams already like TNT, GSM, and even NLEX.

If you don't understand what it is all about better not to be involved in the topic. Simple as that. Back to some PBA topics, it's clear now that Alaska will be sold to other companies. The bidding might start anytime from now. Can't wait who will be the winner.

Do you have any idea which companies are interested in buying the Alaska team? I think it's really necessary that they will be sold so the players will not lose their job, and since the salary of the players is high, then for sure we are talking of big companies here. honestly, I have no idea on who would be interested to bid.

Talking about the companies who buy the Alaska aces I think it's a big and known company here in the Philippines and talking about their players and their salary for sure it is a big impact for them to loss their jobs cause the rate of their salary is bigger than the minimum rate here in the Philippines. If Alaska will go out in PBA for sure the ROS will be planning bro out too.

Just to clarify things, Alaska players won't lose their job. Instead, they will be part of the next draft. The perks of companies that are likely to buy the Alaska franchise is, they will also be granted all the future draft rights of the team. Currently, Alaska has a right for 2 first-round picks next conference. Now I wonder why there are more companies willing to buy a franchise instead of newly registering as a team. BlackWater also received lots of offers before if they are really serious about selling their franchise before.

I got worried a bit about the previous game of BlackWater. I thought they will get a win and that will break their achievement of a continuous losing streak in the history of the league. They cut down the final score with just a few score behind. They need to maintain that kind of performance in order to also improve their record of losing streak.
Go Blackwater!

PBA is already at the brink of extinction, we can't really deny that and that is exactly why they are now open to accept some foreign investments to form a team in the PBA now. Maybe if they succeed on this plans, PBA will continue but I think this won't go for long and it won't be the same league that we used to see.

Agree, we are just speculating too much on the future of the PBA and we could be wrong lol. The important thing for now is that the PBA is back and we can bet for our favorite team, that is what we are here for, the betting side . By the way, Magnolia is still undefeated, which team do you think will give them their first L? And why?
Even without the Beast, Magnolia is still wreaking havoc. That's a very hard question for now on who will give them the first lose. TNT is the team that i think could beat them but they already have met and Magnolia defeated them so i think will advance to the semis without a single lose. Pick for the day: Bolts -5.5 @1.91 vs ROS, Bishop and company will bounce back against ROS. Beermen vs Kings, no odds yet but will bet on the Beermen once the market/odds for this game is open.

I like the Bolts -5.5, they definitely bounce back but I would stay away on the 2nd game Beermen and Kings as it's hard to decide since both teams really need a win. If at some point I will change my decision, I guess I'm going with the Ginebra Kings as Brownlee is still my favorite import.
