Well, Athletic Club has continuously shown that they have the strength and deliverance more than Atletico Madrid does. Judging from their last five matches played together, at least three of them were won by Athletic Club, leaving only two aside. The last time Athletic Club faced Atletico Madrid was at home in their stadium. Despite this, Athletic Club was able to secure a victory with a 1-0 advantage. Now that they have returned to their home ground, Athletic Club has shown the capacity to understand what it means to play at home. With that, they defeated Atletico Madrid with a sweet-sounding 3-0 win, resulting in an aggregate score of 4-0 in the Copa del Rey competition.

Exactly, Athletic Club can win 2 matches from the first leg and the second leg and we wonder why Atletico Madrid is having difficulty facing Athletic Club or maybe Atletico Madrid is having performance problems?  Basically Athletic Club is no better than Atletico Madrid but maybe luck is on their side. Recently Atlatico Madrid have lose every single match since Real Madrid Darby including the Champions League and La Liga and now they are know outing for Copa del Rey. But anyway Athletic Club has just qualified for the final and the final will be played between Mallorca and Athletic Club on April 6th.

Athletic Bilbao's scintillating performance against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid came as a surprise to many including me especially when the were already leading the Copa Dey Rey semi final tie with 1:0 scoreline from the first leg. I was very surprised to see that Athletic Bilbao succeeded in winning the first leg of the game that was played at the home ground of Atletico Madrid but was of the opinion that Diego Simeone's men will likely fight back and defeat Athletic Bilbao in the second leg which didn't happen as expected.

Real Madrid was eliminated from the Copa Dey Rey competition this season by Atletico Madrid abd that was why I thought they were definitely gonna end up as the eventual winners and when they were drawn against Athletic Bilbao, I also thought they were gonna easily win the tie. Football is one game that's always full of surprises and that I think is what makes the game the most beautiful of all the sports games in the world.

With the result of the game tonight, Athletic Bilbao will face Mallorca in the final of the competition in April and considering the performances of both teams since the start of the season, I think it's safe to say that Athletic Bilbao will win the Spanish Copa Dey Rey at the end of the season. Mallorca will definitely give their best to make sure they pull a surprise by winning the final but the possibility of that happening I think is very slim

Athletic Club has developed into a team that rival teams have to be wary of. This season, they have defeated a number of formidable opponents, most notably Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. In the last 10 seasons, Real Madrid and Barcelona have continuously taken turns winning the La Liga competition and now we will see Real Madrid win the title again after Barcelona won this competition last season.

But previously Atletico Madrid also performed very impressively in the 2020/21 season where they succeeded in making Real Madrid and Barcelona fail to win the title and only finished runners-up and third.

Athletic Bilbao did much more than I expected from them. They simply destroyed Atletico Madrid by 3-0 home as well.    But I can't say they didn't deserve because Atletico Madrid were really not good enough in both games.    Having an important player missing like Griezmann also made a bad impact on their performance last night.

Now the name of the finale in the Copa del Rey is Athletic Bilbao - Mallorca. This is going to be a really unexpected kind of finale. As far as I know Mallorca won the cup once many years ago but I don't remember any when it comes to Athletic Bilbao. I hope Athletic Bilbao manage to be champions.

Mallorca won the Copa del Rey about two decades ago and it was their first title in this cup.
If they succeeded in making a surprise, it would certainly be a very pleasant thing for this club which is not to good this season.
I think otherwise with Mallorca getting to the final it would be even easier to predict who will win the Copa del Rey this season, but who knows there will be surprises because getting to the final is certainly not something that Mallorca will easily repeat next season so they will play very well to be able to lift this trophy.

The two teams that made it to the Copa Del Rey final will face tough matches, Athletic Bilbao against Barcelona and Mallorca against Girona.
Athletic are trying to reach the top four especially since they are only three points behind Atletico Madrid, but beating Barcelona is not an easy thing for Athletic because they beat Barca more often in other competitions, not in league matches where Barca beat them more often so this will be something the hard one.
Likewise with Mallorca, even though they are the home team, they also often lose at home and facing Girona, a team that is still struggling to become a competitor to Real Madrid, will make it even more difficult and my prediction is that the away team will win in these two matches.
