Game over as Atletico lose 2 - 0 at home to Levante; i am perplexed and shock because that was an immense performance by Atletico who were denied 11 times by Levante goalkeeper who is my match winner. Shocking loss; Spanish League title blown open for all

I'm shocked aswell as who could've predict something like this ? Levante beating ATL.Madrid with 2 goals when they barely had any shooting towards the goalie ... . I had ATL.Madrid over 12.5 corners and both team to score and they ended up with no goal and 12 corners...speaking of bad luck. Then if we take statistics only, the score should've been 4-2 or 5-2 and this points that ATL lost today will count a lot for the race of LaLiga winner.

Many people have lost bets today. I think the defeat of Atletico Madrid has just begun. They were in great form from the beginning of the season. This is their second defeat this season. I would be happy if the position of the top teams in the points table changes in the future. Barcelona and Real Madrid are in form now. This will be a very competitive season

I personally still really hope that Atletico Madrid will loses point in the next few games, this will make Real Madrid and Barcelona closer to their point and compete until the end of the season. It is not entertaining enough to watch a match where the champion are clearly visible because of the big point difference as is the case with Atletico Madrid today.

Yeah. I'm also hoping Madrid or Barcelona would close in the gap between title leaders, Atlético Madrid. There's nothing I love more than a closely contested title run. Atlético Madrid has been pretty shaky over the last couple of games. Started from that Celta Vigo game earlier this month. If Madrid wins Real Valladolid later tonight, they'll cut Atlético's lead to just three points.

I was so close to placing an in-play bet on Atletico Madrid to win/draw somewhere around the 75th minute. I'm thankful I didn't push through with it

Atletico Madrid finally lost there game for a second time today to Levante. It seems Levante is the nemesis of big teams in the Laliga this season and are good at stealing points from only the big teams. They lost to Osasuna but before then, they won Barcelona, drew Atletico Madrid on there first encounter and now, they won them at home.

The result of Atletico Madrid-Levante was too shocking. I don't understand how the hell this match ended 0-2 despite Atletico's superb performance. Sometimes teams can have nothing to do against such situations. 28 shots, 11 on goal but no goal... On the other hand, Levante got 6 shots one of which was on goal and it was in the net.

Today is a crap in every major league in fact, ATM lost, Liverpool lost, Bayern lost...and they all received 2 goals!
Such defeat shouldn't happen, not vs a team in the mid-table. Their next 3 games are vs Villarreal, Real Madrid and Bilbao...good luck winning them and keeping the first place if they will continue like that...

We have an amazing Saturday football day in the Spanish League.
After lunch, we have Atletico de Madrid vs Levante. I think Atletico will win easy but becareful if the Sargent Morales plays, he could be a pain on the Atletico's ass...s easy. Since I am a Real Madrid supporter I wish they fail on this match, lets see.
In dinner time, we have a great match between Valladolid - Real Madrid but the Zidane's team has a lot of injuries right now so I am really worried for the Real Madrid performance on this match.

Athletico should know Barcelona and Real Madrid are not raising surrendering hand this fast, and they have started to drop point and their closest rivals for the Spanish Laligaare not going to slow down on closing the gap, I think levante where more clean on goal scoring chances than athletico Madrid and the win is deserving of their play

La Liga is getting more interesting after Atletico Madrid dropped points, after losing to Levante. Even though Atletico Madrid controlled the match,
but Levante's attack was very effective. With fewer shots on goal than Atletico Madrid, but being able to score 2 goals is a wonderful thing.
And the most amazing thing in my opinion is the performance of the goalkeeper from Levante who made 10 saves. Then Real Madrid's victory
against Valladolid made the difference in points with Atletico Madrid even closer. Then the opportunity for Real Madrid to become champions is open now.

It's just that Koeman was unlucky to take the reins of the team at a bad time. There is an expression that such top teams are not called 2 times, but I am not sure that Koeman should have agreed. Barcelona is experiencing a transitional moment of time and the game problems have overlapped with the problems in the management and vice versa. It seems that among the candidates for the post of president there are no ardent supporters of continuing cooperation with Koeman and the head coach may become the first victim of the newly elected leadership.

Atletico lead looked so big, but few bad games and things are getting interesting again.
Draw and loss against Levante is something surprising, but it had to happen sooner or later. If you follow Atletico games more closely, this season they had many similar games. They struggled against mediacore teams several times, but managed to score on last minutes. Atletico defense was phenomenal on the first half of season, but now they conceded goals 7 games in a row!
Levante managed to win 2:0 with just 1 shot on target. And this shot was to empty net, like in ice hockey or handball.

Barca might be struggling but they are also two games behind Real Madrid. They could be a threat too if they win those matches.

Certainly! It helped that they were able to build a two digit lead in the past to stay ahead despite dropping five points in their last two games.

The pressure is building up on them. We'll see if they can handle it.

I didn't watch that game, but I think it must have been a very disputed game because these two teams are fighting to stay in La Liga

it was a game that I was very afraid of Real Valladolid win.

I also didn't watch the Elche vs Eibar match, because I was more interested in watching the top teams play. But a good result for Elche to get
3 points by beating Eibar, now they have the same points, but Elche has 2 matches left to play. If Elche succeed in getting 1 point in the next match,
they will leave the relegation area.

In fact many were surprised by the defeat of Atletico Madrid, because in terms of quality, Atletico are still above Levante and it is very important
that Atletico Madrid win to get away from Real Madrid who continue to pursue. If Atletico are not careful in the next match and drop points again,

Atletico actually had a great performance against Levante but they were unbelievably unlucky and it was the opposite for their opponent. I expected them to win here too after drawing with Levante in the previous match. Real Madrid had too much difficulty but managed to get a 1-0 win vs Valladolid and the point difference between Real and Atletico is 3 now. Atletico still have an advantage of having one more missing match but the point difference continues to decrease.

Atletico Madrid missed the chance to increase their lead a the top of LaLiga but it is normal, Jose Luis Morales scored and he gave the visitors the lead in the 30th minute of the game. At the end of the match, Jorge de Frutos scored in the 95th minute to seal the three points. Atletico de Madrid can not keep winning every single match, they are doing an excellent season but sometimes they have to lose some matches. In my opinion, since Real Madrid finally won the match versus Valladolid, they are pushing hard, and finally, they will take the lead.

It won't happen. Right now, ATL Madrid has the 1st chance of winning LaLiga this year and they will remain favorites as both Real and Barca are not having a great year.

Finally Atletico Madrid dropped point after a draw and lost against Levante. I've been looking forward to it and have to thank Levante for that. Indeed at first I was not sure Atletico Madrid would lose because maybe Levante was not a formidable opponent for them, but the result was completely different and they lost by two goal.

Real Madrid won by 1 goal against Valladolid, while Barcelona will play today against Cadiz. I hope Barcelona continue to win these game and maximize the opportunities that exist. They must match Real Madrid's point while hoping Atletico Madrid drop another point if they are to compete for the title this season.

Atletico lost a match in the La Liga finally after an 11-match unbeaten streak. But it was not an expected kind of loss for sure. I thought the streak would end up with the away game vs Villarreal on Feb 28. Real Madrid made use of this chance and decreased the point difference to only 3 points. Barcelona also have an easy match ahead of them vs Cadiz today and I think they will win too.

Barcelona is playing good so far at first half and they found a goal with a penalty. Cadiz didn't even go to Barca's side, they accept the game in their side. Negredo couldn't get the ball, they play all defensive but they need to do something else in second half. I think Barcelona will start second half faster and try to find second goal. If we see second goal early this match would go over 3.5 goals. I'm expecting a more dynamic start from Barcelona, they should not waste chances they create.

Oh don't worry they know this for sure. Like I said, this is now Atletico's game to lose and once Barca/Real start to find their rhythm again, if ever, then the race will be on hotter than ever. 4 points dropped in two games was affordable though, seeing that Real and Barca themselves need to make up the ground.

Levante's man of the match was their keeper though, so there are teams that will excel on any given day.
