Today there is an interesting match for  valencia against cadiz because valencia are in the relegation zone and they havent won in seven matches plus cadiz are not able to win in their last four games and they couldnt score either so valencia need to win to get out from their difficult situation.

Valencia dominated the first half with over 70% but they didnt able to score a goal but i think if the match keep runing the same way i believe valencia can win this match and they must do it because they are in a very bad situation

Obviously Valencia are under a lot of pressure about their current position in the table which could fuel their poor form every game. The first half saw no goals scored by either team even though Valencia had almost 70% possession of the ball.

Look at that game and you will see that Valencia is very difficult to shoot on goal. So far they have only been recorded doing it once. Valencia must be able to take advantage of today's opportunities well to win the match so that they can get away from the relegation zone a little. There will be many questions if they lose today.


A little comment about yesterday's match. Barcelona won the LaLiga match again yesterday and it makes them closer to the top 3 of the standings. So far Barcelona has only played 16 games and that's less than several other teams such as Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Villarreal. I hope Barcelona continues to improve for the next games and continues to win games consistently.

Atletico Madrid beat Alaves 2-1 away yesterday. They were too dominant in the first half and they didn't give any chance for Alaves even to shoot. M. Llorente scored in the 41st minute and they finished the first half 1-0 ahead. In the second half, things were quite different. Laguardia got a red card in the 63rd minute and Alaves played the remaning minutes with 10 players. But they did whatever they can and scored in the 84th minute. After bringing the score to 1-1, they tried to keep the score like this to the end. But L. Suarez didn't let this happen and scored in the 90th minute and Atletico won. They are still the leader in the league.

In fact Cadiz has made a surprise when he beat Real Madrid and Barcelona, so it's no wonder when Valencia are struggling to get 3 points to get away from the relegation zone, but it's still not easy even though the opponent facing is the promotion team is Cadiz. Maybe Valencia will still be ranked at the bottom of this season, but that won't make it relegated because I'm still sure that the squad it has will still be able to keep Valencia moving to the middle of the standings.

I really hope this season Atletico Madrid can win La Liga, and the opportunity is very big for Atletico to become champions this season.

But don't forget that Atletico Madrid often fails to get the trophy just before the competition ends. So, personally, I am still not really sure if Atletico Madrid can win the La Liga trophy this season. Real Madrid is in second place and there are still many remaining matches. Real Madrid has a chance to overtake Atletico in the top position if Atletico players lose their focus and motivation at any time.

true, it is not a surprise that they couldn't win against Cadiz, but they lost a lot of games and points, and they're now trying to survive in La liga, if they want to keep playing in La liga, they have to step up and teams like Cadiz, they were lucky to beat Real madrid 4-1 obviously.

I can sympathize with what Alaba is thinking of, he is in his very golden time then slip-down time in his career so he want to take advantage of this time to get as highest salary as possible.

I am sure Bayern won't give him more because he is not a striker. Some oil-backed clubs like PSG, Manchester City can help Alaba to get highest salary. Barcelona and Real Madrid can give him too but they are weak in balance sheets.

A defender is always welcome in most teams especially if he can play in different positions. Meanwhile Bayern defence isn't that good they need to find another way to fix it..

The stats of Alaba are impressive and it shows he is not simply a defender. He assisted and scored much more goals than purely defenders.

Everyone call Barcelona playing horrible this year, and they were seen as one of the "bad" teams of the season, and everyone wanted to even sell Messi at some point to start all over again in order to get better in the future believing this is doing horrible. Look at the situation right now, Barcelona is 5th in the league, sure not a great place for Barcelona right?

Well, they have 16 games and 28 points, who is above them? Villareal, they have 17 games and only 29 points, one more point ahead, even with a tie Barcelona would be same points, with a win they are above them. Who is above Villareal you may ask? Real Sociedad, team that looked like they were at the top for a very long time, what is their situation? They have 18 games, two more than Barcelona, and only have 30 points, 2 more points, with one win Barcelona will be over, with even another loss, but with two wins Barcelona would be 4 points ahead. So long story short Barcelona is destined for third place already, I think they are fine.

Just now I'm beginning to look at it from the angle that, Lionel Messi isn't at all good with young stars. As these stars are out to shine on the pitch and Messi is used to being fed as king in Barcelona.
There might be other issues but, I feel this is one major thing affecting the team. An advantage Real Madrid is failing to make proper use of but, Atletico Madrid is surely making waves with it. Either ending most of there games in a win or at least a draw to remain consistent.

Agreed with you Barcelona is not in superb form like before I also passing them to stake my amount them because of insane odds as compare with the performance which is really horrible. So that there are pretty low chances of them to make comeback with current game style they have to make new strategy to boost their confidence otherwise it becoming much harder for them to win the trophy of this season.

The situation of Barcelona is as same as of Manchester United a few weeks ago. People don't believe in 2 teams and one defeat causes criticism but a few wins don't improve belief on them.

Manchester United climbs to the 2nd position in Premier League but still people don't believe in their strength (I do neither).

Barcelona is in rebuilding season and they have more weaknesses than they had in golden time. Their current results are acceptable if look at their situation (from board to player resources). Unfortunately, they are very big club and such results are not enough for their fans. They want season with 9 trophies back or Champions League trophy.

They are similar to AC Milan one decade ago when they won their latest Scudetto with Ibrahimovic. After that, they slipped down in one decade and only come back too strong in Serie A 2020 - 2021.

We can clearly see Barcelona are too away from their old days. If Messi leaves now or at the end of the season too, I think Barcelona could even be in danger of relegating from La Liga in the future. That has always been like that, lower end teams going high for the start of the season, having a great streak, then slowly start to lose or have a tie, not really get too many wins, and slowly go one step lower, then one step lower, then one step lower eventually becoming mid table. However the difference this year is that ATM is playing well and they are ranked top and they are not looking like they are going to give all away, they are definitely fighting and will probably keep on fighting. This is why I think there is a chance they could win the league all together when it is all said and done.

Of course there are tons of games left, and of course Barcelona and Real Madrid will play a lot better and will get a lot more points and they could even be champions, however I doubt ATM will make things easy, they are going to try to keep the position until the end.

I agree and i dont really understund why the administration didnt make any deal during the mercato to bring players who can make barcelona great again...it's too frustrating to see barcelona in this situation

Tomorrow night, we are going to see a match between Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona. Barcelona haven't been losing for six matches but they are really bad actually in general and I don't give them much chance here. Bilbao are really strong on their home games. I won't be surprised if they win this match.

Even though Barcelona are unbeaten in the last 6 matches, there is no guarantee that they will win the match against Bilbao. I agree that
it is very possible that Bilbao can beat Barcelona, because if we look at Barcelona's overall appearance this season it is inconsistent.
And Messi's performance as a key player for Barcelona has declined considerably, so Barcelona must be careful in facing Bilbao.

Yeah, it will be difficult game, Athletic looks really good at home and games at San Mames always been tough for Barca, even if there is no spectators. By the way, Athletic sacked manager after win against Elche, what is a bit weird decision. And they already appointed Marcelino as new manager. Usually, new manager in first game works as boost for the team.
My expectations this sesson is so low that I wouldn't be disappointed if we will reach draw tomorrow.

You said Atletico Club will play at home so they will be stronger. However, I would like to say that this season Barcelona is a club that cannot be predicted. They have won against many tough teams. On the other hand, many have drawn against easy teams, even lost. Their team is not stable yet. Koeman is experimenting with players in almost every match. The Grizmen have yet to adapt to the situation in the team. Pedri created many goal chances but missed. I think Messi and Dembele do their job properly in the team. This team needs to be stabilized. Koeman needs to come up with a new strategy.
