Some exciting news to Real Madrid fans though the deal isn't yet done.

According to marca, Real Madrid are now close to signing David Alaba whose contract expires with Bayern Munich on 30th June 2021

Draw with Elche was a setback for Real Madrid. They failed to get those 2 more points with a team as Elche in the home ground of Real. Atletico had played much less games with confident lead. Real Madrid can't afford to lose today. It's again on their home ground. Real are said to be trying to sign up more players but if they failed to get full points with poorer team, a few players won't save it.

Barcelona still has enough time to correct their mistakes. . The teams against which Barcelona should have easily scored 3 points, Barcelona drew those matches. There are still many matches left. There is still plenty of time to get back on the Barcelona track. Koeman will probably devise new tactics in la Liga so that the team can be more stable.

For sure they do, but the problem is, we need to decide right now what we want to do (or rather, we even needed to decide a long time ago) for the future. If we strengthen to try and win La Liga, then we'll be stuck in the old mode of doing what we did wrong. Buy a few short term stars and talents to win. And that's not even guaranteed. And put ourselves more in debt which we can't afford.

OR we rebuild and accept we won't win La Liga, perhaps focus on a Champions League or cup run as we do well there, while restructuring from the ground up. This also means letting go of Messi, unfortunately:(

That is the main problem with the big clubs, because they can't rebuild because it causes them to not be in a place that would be acceptable. You think the fans would be fine with it, but if a team decides to buy players who are 22-23 and younger, and just go with that and publicly say that they are trying to rebuild the whole team and want to dominate for 10 years, have another xavi iniesta messi period with the new kids when they are ready, that would be something you would love to hear.

However as soon as league starts and Barcelona is 11th in standings for a while and finishes 6th? You will see those same fans burning jerseys. So, Barcelona have to continue like this, they have no other option to continue like this, that is the only choice. I would love to see them do better as well or rebuild, but it is just stuck at this level.

This is logic...i always think that la liga is overrated and i believe that the premier league is the best championship in the world...its always very hard to predict the champoin and there is many clubs that can fight for the trophy...almost every match is enjoyable and there is a lots of crazy match scenarios

I totally agree with you. La Liga is losing its glory day by day. Now La Liga matches are not as competitive as before. The teams are now becoming ordinary teams. Less star players. If Messi leaves La Liga next season, La Liga will lose more spectators

Even if Atlético Madrid lost, I don't think it would be a disaster for them. They have 2 games in hand as of now. As for Messi and Barcelona,  Messi has never been the same again since the beginning of this season. Look at his goal and assist tally for Barca so far compared to other top players in Europe, does it seem like the Messi we know to you?

I remember, when Messi vs Ronaldo (Barcelona vs Real Madrid) used to play, I used to sit in front of the television 1 hour before the start of the game. The matches were also very competitive. If Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in one match, we would see a great game from Messi in the next match. I miss those days so much.

yesterday Real Madrid won, but without a doubt they won because they had a good defense, managed to prevent Celta Vigo from scoring 2 goals and were clear goal opportunities... we managed to win without conceding a goal.

If you want to win or play a draw with Real Madrid, then you need to play with it. Full defense with rare counterattacks. Open football with Real Madrid is better not to play if you are not Bayern or Liverpool.

My thoughts too and it has been totally entertaining to see them play; also, let us not forget they have 3 games to recover and imagine where they will be when they will win them all!

On paper Barca should be able to win easily against Huesca, because besides Huesca is the team with the worst performances in this season, it is likely that Messi will be expected to return to play against Huesca.

Messi's presence is certainly expected to provide full points for Barca. Because when Messi was absent in the previous match against Eibar, Barca cannot take advantage of home matches and must be satisfied with a score draw.

I don't see any other stable squad like Atletico Madrid this season. There are many talented players in the Barcelona team. I think the most talented player in La Liga is in the Barcelona squad. But the players of the team have not been able to adapt to each other yet. The coach of the team is new, it will take some time for them to become stable. If Messi leaves Barca next season, it will take the next few seasons for Barcelona to return to normalcy.

Although the quality of Atletico Madrid players this season is not as good as Real Madrid and Barcelona, but Diego Simeone knows how to get
Atletico's players to their best. And it must be admitted that this season Atletico Madrid's performance is the most stable and consistent compared
to other La Liga teams. So this season Atletico Madrid deserves to be La Liga champions, in contrast to Barcelona's many talented players.
But Barcelona game was  inconsistent, perhaps because Ronald Koeman hadn't adapted. So there needs to be an adjustment between the player
and the coach.
