now barcelona will have a style of football where there will no longer be those surprises that messi used to show, i'm talking about things like:

Barcelona is draw with a team and Messi appears and scores a goal and saves Barcelona

now they will no longer have the salvador messi, barcelona will have to play aware that they don't have that player who could easily get past his opponent's defense and make a high-quality pass for his teammate to score a goal

But, they will also not have one of the biggest financial burdens of the team as well. I know Messi worths every penny that he gets but at the same time when a team is so much in financial trouble, paying a 34-35 year old player (now matter who they are) that much money doesn't make sense for any team at all. Now what they can do would be fixing their finances, sure they may not have success like they did, I can understand that, but at the same time they will not have any type of debt in less than 5 years as well if they keep this up.

Of course this is Barcelona we are talking about, they could end up being horrible and still do financially idiotic things and even without Messi they may end up in bigger financial trouble as well. I feel like they should not be buying big names and spending a lot of money in order to fix everything first, then they can restart, but I do not know if they will do it or not.

I've never heard of it before, it seems like a stupid rule. I don't think that's the issue here, yes it's all about Barcelona'a debt problem and La Liga put a limit on their wage budget but I don't think they can dictate about cutting salaries no more than %50 rule, it's illogical.
I wonder what will they do about it when streaming income starts decreasing. The league lost two of the most important football players in three years. Ronaldo and Messi used to be one of the biggest reasons why I considered la liga to be one of the top leagues in Europe but now, I have a different opinion about it. Let's just wait till the season kicks off and then keep an eye on viewership. I'm sure we'll see a significant drop compared to a few years again

Aguero and several other players may be able to replace Messi's role at Barcelona for a while provided there is another suitable replacement. I still want Neymar back, but it seems impossible for Barcelona to buy him back because Neymar is also one of the players with big salaries. Barcelona is a complete mess and Laliga is getting worse after some of its superstars moved team. Barcelona would not have won the title this season without Messi, he is the team's all-time top scorer.

Yep, it may be one of his motivations to join Barcelona. But I think it shouldn't be the strongest motivation to be there.

Don't too early judge Barca will be difficult to compete winning major trophies just because they have no longer Messi! Barcelona club should be bigger than Messi's name, they still have many top players with great talent/skills on the squad. Of course, Messi has a big role, but don't underestimate other players. Who knows the remaining players can play better without Messi? Because now they don't need to rely or focus on a single player only, no main attacker. With this situation, each player will try their best to make a goal when they have a chance. No pressure to pass the ball to someone that be an executor to make a goal.

I believe Barcelona can play well without Messi. Even young players will have more chances to show their best performance. With no Messi there, a new idol will rise soon.

Barcelona are examples for big clubs and also medium clubs that want to join top clubs. After a few successful seasons, if medium clubs over spend budget for transfer and salary, and if results in a few seasons are not as good as their plans consider, they will be in financial troubles. Many clubs got troubles and went bankrupted like Leeds United, Deportivo La Coruna, Parma, etc.

Barcelona gave opportunities for home grown players in last two seasons. Perhaps they knew that it would be fine for preparation after the era of Messi. Pedri, Fati are two of biggest young stars they have now.

I read about this news in some local online media. Barcelona still seem to want to get Messi and renew his contract after they changed their decision to agree to sign a contract on broadcasting right. There is still the possibility of Messi staying at Barcelona despite current rumor that he has received an offer from wealthy French club PSG. I hope that Messi stays because I believe that Barcelona are still not willing to let their players leave. I agree with you that the Barcelona management has done too much drama, it seems to me that Barcelona are not trying to extend Messi.
They should understand the rules of La Liga, could be by selling some players or negotiating with Messi asking Messi's salary to be lowered
