Sevilla defeated Getafe 1-0, which gave Real Madrid a nightmare.  I expected them to play a comfortable match, but I was wrong.  They scored the goal in the middle of the first half.  Getafe could have given Sevilla a nightmare too.  It's been a good week for Sevilla.  They still have 5 points between Real Madrid.  Moreover, Sevilla is missing a game.  I attribute the low number of victorious teams out of the top 10 to the quality of La Liga.  Even Getafe can beat Real Madrid when it comes to a quality league.  A league open to all scores.

Real Madrid and Sevilla both won, so practically nothing has changed at the table. If there was no competition between Real Madrid and Sevilla then La Liga would be boring because Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are further behind Real Madrid and Sevilla. It's been a tough season for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Football is full of surprises just like when Getafe beat Real Madrid and I think it's surprises like this that make title races even more exciting.

Ofcourse,you don't have to expect Xavi's Barcelona sit back to watch Madrid humiliate and defeat them just like that in an El- classico. Xavi has been building the team since he came and he keeps on building,and with what I'm seeing so far,The Barca team will come to a position where they will be playing their former pattern of football,Tiki-taka.
The  club will certainly do well under Xavi,and that's what I know.

Real Madrid narrowly won against Barcelona yesterday. The match was indeed tough and also interesting. No doubt, I was really impressive with the performance Barcelona put up. They played amazingly. Although, Valverde secured the 3rd goals which enabled Madrid to win.
However, we have another tough match today. Atletico Madrid will face Athletic Club. Who ever wins will probably get qualified to the finals. Anyways, I think Atletico Madrid is the favorite here. Nevertheless, Athletic Club can surprise us by beating Atletico. But, am quite sure both teams will surely score.

Even though Barcelona lost against Real Madrid, Barcelona's performance was quite satisfactory.  And I am very entertained by
the Barcelona vs Real Madrid match. Because it was unexpected that Barcelona were able to provide resistance to Real Madrid,
Barcelona showed that they were not easy to beat. But because Real Madrid's performance is indeed better than Barcelona this season,

i was thinking the same thing. Xavi's performance and tactics seem to be imposing because their current player capacity is not complete and indeed cannot do what Xavi expects

What a match it is! I didn't expect Barcelona to resist Real Madrid this much.  Actually, Real Madrid got ahead two times but Barcelona still equalized the score and we are in the extra time now. And Valverde carried his team ahead once more in the 98th minute. Barcelona are trying their best in the second half of the extra time now as they are 2-3 behind. But I think that Barcelona won't score the equalizer once again. Real Madrid will reach the final.

Well, Barcelona have been nothing shot of amazing with the level of play in this game, I didn't expect anything less as it is Super Cup but, judging from there bad play and stands in the Laliga, this is a good play. Though, the game is lost already as they are lagging by a goal and with very few minutes on the timer. I would say, they did there best but, Real Madrid now is there better and very much deserve this win.

It was really great to see another El Clasico in the Super Cup semi finals. Maybe we don't have most of the old players at Barcelona especially anymore but it was still a very competitive game and I enjoyed it surely. Barcelona gave their best even though Real Madrid were the favourite team to win and advance. Barcelona found the equalizer two times and had the 2-2 score. I was surprise with final score on el clasico because few minutes left Madrid lead 1-2 from Barcelona but Ansu Fati make it different and scoring one goal again to make score draw 2-2 and match going on with extended although Valverde success give one goal for Madrid and take to final Spain Super League, I don't see Barcelona team right now as favorite to win in this clasico because they have out from la liga candidate to get trophy and now out from top four position standing. Have been over for Barcelona in this season and keep working hard how to back top four position qualify for Champion league next year.

Compared to the first el classico of the season, I think yesterday match actually showed the meaning of el classico actually  , to be honest I was less entertained when the first el classico of this season happened and at that time it seemed that madrid was too dominant in the match, unlike the case with el classico which just we watched, the two teams actually played quite insistently and attacked each other, yes even though el classico yesterday is not as hot as el classico when messi and ronaldo played in la liga, but the match really showed the capacity as two big teams that competed.

Benzema scores again. I love this man. It is very difficult to do justice to the Real Madrid jersey for many years. However, we cannot say the same for Benzema. He became a true Real Madrid legend. He scored the goal that put Real Madrid ahead again today. The situation is now 2-1 in favor of Real Madrid.

Karim Benzema has been loyal, committed and consistent in Real Madrid. I don't even know if I will say his prime is coming at his old age.
He is a true legend of the club.

They played better this time against an Elite Madrid. Actually I was impressed by Barca today, they played better to be honest.
The lead by the youthful Barcelona front, I wasn't anticipating that much from the current group yet Xavi changing it well. In Xavi hands Barca is on right track. But, Sad to see five consecutive El Clásico losses for Barcelona.

What a performance from Barcelona. I am impressed by the way their players fought in that game. That was a really good El Classico. Real Madrid probably performed their worst in the El Classico while Barcelona performed their best but still they lost the game. There has always been this difference in performance level between Real Madrid and Barcelona from the beginning. Barcelona is gradually raising to the challenge though they lost but they displayed their best performance of the season. I believe they would rise again and dominate. I believe they can achieve good things this season if their players actually stay free from injury. I am happy to see Fati back, he is a huge talent.

I somewhat predicted that Barca will lose this match badly. Yes, they lost, but with the gameplay they showcased, I'm quite impressed.
After Messi and Griezmann left, they were in shambles and they showed very good football play in this match. Real won by a winner scored by Fedew Valverde in the 98th minute, but even though they won, Barcelona clearly played the better football between the two teams.
