Real Madrid is currently the strongest team in La Liga. Won the champion trophy. I was very surprised by this statement. I can understand the reasoning about knockout tournaments - there is some role played by randomness (the so-called random variable variance) but not by "luck". But when we talk about a big two-round tournament, the result is 100% fair and logical. I still think that Lewandowski would be a bad decision for Barcelona. Not that he is not a great player, he is an unbelievable player, but they need to get some younger players for the future, they are known to be a team that can find players from youth and they did it again, now filled the rest of the field with younger players from other teams and they should be fine.

Unfortunately because of horrible transfers they had for a long time, and maybe some other business reasons, they ended up with so much debt that they shouldn't be getting 35 year old Lewa to play for that position, they should find someone 25 or younger and make them play for 10 years and not need another transfer again soon.

For a player like Raheem Sterling, the spanish league should be favourable for him, it fits his style of play cutting in from the wings and passing to the striker and aiming for goal but signing for Real Madrid at the moment is unlikely because Real madrid has good players and talents on both wings and even their reserves are good too so their is no vacancy for Raheem Sterling at Real madrid at the moment. I would suggest Sterling stays in the EPL and continues his career at Chelsea

I agree with you that they shouldn't be selling crucial players, they need to improve in defense that most of the time even with that weak attack of theirs when they score 1 goal and are winning, the defense manages to destroy everything by conceding goals and at the end of the game they end up losing. that's why it's important that they have a very strong attack (to at least be able to score a lot of goals and compensate when they concede goals) because this issue of their defense being weak won't be resolved anytime soon

What you say is quite reasonable, because Barcelona currently has quite a number of front lines. So signing Lewandowski shouldn't be a priority,
