The problem at the moment is not far from the financial condition of Barcelona.

I very much agree with this. The reason why Barca is pushing because they want to make their financial position better. And with Barcelona having financial problems, it is possible that they might have problem giving him better contract or at worse unable to pay him wages in full. De Jong currently at this point can't have both - to pay for the club and take the usual wages. He has to choose one. Yes he has right to make personal decisions but someday in future if situation remains the same then he has to make a decision then also.

Still I think Barca is kinda putting veil on some things with their financial situation. They want him to reduce his wages but can make world class signings? That's kinda put some questions. I am not so sure how much they are paying to the new signings but these new signings will for sure will be still putting a good amount of load in wages.

The positioning of Lewandowski has been lacking in Barcelona. I think this is a huge signing because he is so good in space and so well positioned in the box. I hope Lawandonski's performance will remain unchanged despite his age. For the upcoming season for Barca, I wish them the best of luck. Even if you have a collection of the best tools in the world, how good are you at using them is what matters most.

No doubt how improvement from Barcelona after success get several player like Franck Kessié, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski, but I am not sure what transfer activities did by Barcelona most perfect. They have forget what happen with defwnder area, I know he has success get Andreas Christensen with free transfer from Chelsea but this player not get regular position, beside Barcelona still have weakness on right and left side of defender area.
