This is what I have been saying. Barcelona have focused way too much on the forwards, forgetting the defense. Maybe Xavi thinks that he will play possessive and attacking football all the time, but it will be deserter for Barcelona if a couple of starting defenders get injured long term.

They only conceded one goal in three friendlies and that was a penalty. Defense didn't make any error that led to a goal. It was prettgainst Real Madrid. Alba - Garcia - Christensen - Araujo look ideal defensive line. There is also Pique and Dest. One more stopper transfer would be great. I don't see any problem in Barca's defense. I totally agree with you. Before Ronaldo joined Juventus, he gave Juve fans hope that he would win the Champions League title with Juventus. But he failed. He said the same after joining Manchester United. Ronaldo also failed with United. Now if he can't stabilize the United team, and stick with the team in their bad times, I'd say he's selfish. Barcelona's squad is very strong. I would say their attack is the best attack in La Liga right now. And the midfield is stable enough. But the defense is weak. Ronaldo is a great player but it is totally wrong to believe that only one man can win Champions league.  Winning champions league is not a thing of one man,  it is a team work. If Manchester United players were hardworking like Ronaldo it would have been possible to win trophies.  The reason Real Madrid are always winning it because all their players are good.
