If Madrid don't fix up immediately I think they're going to have a problem in the future. The need a 9 to replace Benzema. They need a very reliable winger on the right just like Vinicius on the left.
That midfield of Touchmeni, Velverde and Camavinga is not a world class midfield. Velverde is not that guy, I'm sorry. So if Kross and Modric leaves without been replaced with good players then it's going to be a very big problem.

It's good  they're going for Mbappe. They're a proud team and would most likely not go for him again so soon but I'd advise they swallow their pride and go for him. With Mbappe their attack would be much better and have all three forwards that are prolific goal scorers.
If they've fixed that then they can focus on their midfield.

IMO, Madrid are doing renewal with their young players. there are Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, they are young players who still need to explore their potential so that they are more mature in the game. after all, they are still under command and guided by their senior players, such as Modric and Kroos.

However, the agreement has been running for the last few seasons and still has not found a bright spot. I also believe Mbappe will have a career at Real Madrid as well in the future. But as you said he has priorities at PSG first. PSG have zero Champions League title in their history and it is their biggest chance to achieve it as long as they don't lose any player in this attacking trio. Mbappe also seems to be happy with his game here.

There have been some times that Mbappe was uncomfortable with some of the players in the squad. For example he wasn't getting along with Neymar but now it seems like their relationship is better than before. Mbappe still loves to be a part of PSG as he indicated before. I also don't expect him to leave before winning the Champions League title.

I honestly don't see Paris Saint Germain's chances any better than any other team. Even though their current team is star-studded, that was not the only factor that allowed them to win the title. There are many other factors they need to really make that happen, like the mentality of the players for example. That is another important thing that they must have as well as good teamwork they must have, because overall they don't have very good chemistry.

We don't know if Real Madrid will be interested in signing Mbappe now. We haven't heard any such rumors yet this year. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Mbappe this season. He has clashed with the PSG coach. He has also clashed with Neymar and Messi. We have also seen Mbappe's selfish behavior. Such behavior does not match the gameplay of Real Madrid. Real Madrid won't want a selfish player to destabilize their gameplay. Also PSG are performing very well right now. Messi, Mbappe and Neymar are all three in good form.
