chasing the same profile like Benzema is almost impossible. I think that's not what Real Madrid are doing. They need new striker, but whatever profile of a player/striker they sign will need to be fit to their system, no need to be the same like Benzema. Ancelotti knows this very well.

Girona's productivity numbers are indeed impressive and even exceed the numbers of several other big league teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico. Coach Michael seems to be a strong figure who can build this team to the highest level this season so that they can be very fierce by always scoring lots of goals. Their defense is often fragile but at the same time when they win they can turn it around with more goals and that is why so far they have still been able to win even though they often concede 2 goals.

David Blind was only brought in last summer for a very cheap fee from Bayern Munich and has become an experienced figure in Girona's defense and talking about Eric Garcia he joined Girona on a season long loan from Barcelona and when this season ends he will return to Barcelona. Of course, seeing his good performance with Girona, it is impossible for Barcelona to let Eric Garcia go on a permanent deal.

Girona's success this season should be appreciated, whether at the end of the season they finish at the top of the standings or not, their presence in La Liga provides a breath of fresh air. In the midst of Barcelona and Madrid fierce struggle in the UCL, Girona made the best of the opponent's busy situation. Girona doesn't have another schedule so they can focus their players on just one competition. If we find an unexpected final result of Girona winning the trophy then this could be new history. Coming to La Liga for only 2 seasons but being able to climb to the top of the standings is a positive development. Even without a famous defender and without a famous striker, they were still able to show extraordinary quality during 12 matches, only losing once and drawing once.

Even the fact that they are currently able to be at the top of the standings with the squad they currently have is quite surprising. And I really appreciate Girona this season. Especially to their coach, Michel. I don't know how, but he was able to maximize the potential of each player in the squad. Although I'm not sure if they will actually be able to survive until the end of the season. But still, just being able to get to the top of the standings now is already an achievement that deserves a thumbs up. I don't think any of us here thought that Girona would be ranked 1st, even if only temporarily. Maybe in our imagination, the ones most likely to be at the top besides Real Madrid and Barcelona are Atletico Madrid or Real Sociedad or others. But the thought of Girona being at the top of the standings really never occurred to me at all. But this will be very interesting. And I'm even more excited about this season.

I know that Girona cannot remain in that position long before Real Madrid will take it from them because they don't have the squads that will help them to maintain that position in their next 3 games. I still have confidence on Real Madrid that they will win their next game to secure 3 points that will lift their points more higher than Girona and remain in first position in la Liga league till they win the trophy .

If Girona coach can prepare their defenders very well against their remaining games, I think they can secure second position in this tournament because, Barcelona still lose their game in champions league with their opponent yesterday despite many opportunity was there for them to equalize the goal but they failed at the end.
