For me, Girona's season under Michel has been fascinating. In a league dominated by Real Madrid and Barcelona, they've kept up well. I think this team can stay strong, even if not first. A loss against Real is expected when facing one of the world's finest teams. How they showed courage and determination afterward counts.

The season's second half excites me. Girona may surprise us in this test of team character. With Michel at the helm, they've demonstrated they can compete, and people believe more than before. Yes I also think that Girona will surely drop points when they perform against teams like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. When Girona lose points in these three matches, they will be slightly lower in the points table as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in those matches will gain full points and move up. But if Girona don't drop points against Barcelona and Real Madrid, they will undoubtedly be fighting for the La Liga title with Real Madrid and Barcelona at the end of the season. @Patrol69 I too don’t think that Girona will win the La Liga title despite their impressive start to the season because they don’t have a rich diversified squad like Real Madrid or Barcelona. Also their story reminds me of Leicester winning the league title out of the blue so while it’s difficult to imagine this happening but we can’t actually rule it out too even though I don’t personally believe it can happen.

Undoubtedly, Atletico Madrid has been one of the most outstanding teams in the Spanish La Liga this season thanks to the wonderful technical and tactical works of the club manager Diego Simeone. The Argentine has really improved the performance of the team than what we all saw last season but the most visible of his work in the team if you ask me is how he's man managed Antoine Griezmann.

Atletico Madrid is indeed experiencing excellent growth, I think every season Atletico Madrid always plays well and competes in the 5th position of the LaLiga standings, and yes we know that Atletico is a hard warrior in Laliga.
But unfortunately they are always cheated which makes them sometimes unstable, for example the match against Las Palmas, Atletico Madrid despite playing well but he is cheated and points ended up to 2-1, victory for Las Palmas.

That depends on the consistentcy owned by girona. im not really being so pessimistic for girona caused by any team has the same chance. It seems like that many people are saying it caused by girona was unfamiliar club. This is also the main reason why people are also saying the winner will always be barcelona or real madrid. We can at least give girona a time to do that. I think that it's a good achievement by girona to stay at the top spot of la liga at this moment. I expect girona to do even better.

Girona this season only got a draw against Real Sociedad and also, got one defeat when Girona played against Real Madrid. The draw and losse result that Girona experienced this season, in fact occurred when Girona played at home, but evenso atleast Girona is still focused on playing well in other matches. Apparently those who compiled this rating had problems with free space, because there are three more players who scored 7 goals: Budimir, Mayoral, Lewandowski. It's hard to say who will win the golden boot, since Bellingham and Griezmann are midfielders, Lewandowski is in decline, Morata is consistently inconsistent (haha), and the rest are not players of dominant clubs.

I think they should have ranked it using Types of goals (pk), assists and also league appearances. None the less; i think the season highest goalscorer is not on the list yet. As you mentioned Bellingham and Griezmann are midfielders and cannot score consistentyly until the end of the season. I think Greizmann can win this; or Morata as  well. But then again; time will tell

I think there is no need to complicate the situation with additional indicators, they can be accessed when the main results (number of goals) are equal. At the moment there is no clear leader and a whole group of players are vying for the golden boot, but given the performance of Kane (and Haaland) it will be a local prize. Yes, I also think Girona will still try to stay at the top in the current standings, this team has been really consistent this season. Well, maybe Bilbao will make it difficult for Girona in the next match, because Bilbao is not a weak team either. Also, in the previous two matches. I mean head to head, Girona was able to win against Bilbao, this happened in the previous season. Meanwhile this season Girona has a better trend than the previous season, so there is an opportunity for Girona to continue they positive trend.

Girona are not focused on the loses and wins from Real Madrid and Barcelona nor Atletico Madrid. They're moving gradually, taking small steps like a centipede this season. But this is easily said, all players need to improve their performance. If Xavi knew a magic trick to make them all better overnight, he would do it, but there is no magic trick. It is normal if you have outstanding strikers that you also rely on them to a certain degree, but Barcelona isn't as compelling as they used to be in front of the opponent's goal and in the box. But this is not something they can change within a few weeks. I think they would need several high quality players to reach new heights.

Xavi should just take his time with his players especially the ones that just got back from injury and hope they soon will improve and be better than they are now, at the beginning of the season they did started real good and wee performing well enough so I don't think there's much need to panic giving them some more time I what they need now.

Considering the financial strength of the team currently they possibly can't afford to make good transfer by January so all they have to do now is strengthen that which they have now and seen how well they can work on them to achieve good results that will help them be at a better position on the table. if they did performed well enough at the beginning of the season obviously if given some more time they could get back their form and do better before the season ends but not very likely to win the title.

These type of things makes me remember Robert Horry, he is an NBA player with 7 titles, if you do not consider the 50's Celtics team, Horry is the player with the most titles with 7, all the other players above him are the Bill Russel era Celtics players and nobody else, Robert Horry played only 16 seasons and won 7 titles on those 16 years, one of the all time highest rates as well.
