The only way to threaten Barcelona is to restore their performance to what they did at the start of the season. Xavi Hernandez was very unlucky to become the manager of Barcelona when the club started to struggle financially but that haven't stopped him from delivering great job as the manager of the club even when he's not provided with the kind of players he wants the club to sign. Last season in the Spanish La Liga, he was able to guide to the club to lift the league title and have also done well to keep them in a good position in the league as well helping them to reach the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League competition.

I don't agree with you, Real Madrid is not in a calm position because the gap between them and the second place team Barcelona is not much, Real Madrid still has 9 more matches to Play same number with the second place team if they fail to win any match and Barcelona wins their match they make the league to be more competitive once again because they difference in points between them is just 8 points which is not equivalent to 3 matches. Xavi insists he won't change his mind and will leave in June, but we'll see. I still hope to keep Xavi for next season, but everything still depends on him. We are still waiting for Mbappe to confirm that he is going to play for Real Madrid officially and this player or Real Madrid hasn't announced anything yet.
However, we know the deal is done and Mbappe is not even considering the other options and offers he got so far because he is only thinking about Real Madrid. But he didn't say anything about it officially.
According to some news, Mbappe is waiting for the Champions League, and sicne both teams, PSG and Real Madrid are playing in this tournament, he is not talking about his transfer to Real Madrid. But I think if Manchester City beats Real Madrid and Real Madrid loses the Champions League, Mbappe will officially announce his final decision about the next season.
So far nothing is confirmed yet.
