Couldn't agree more, And even if Harry Maguire throws himself everywhere, all I know is that Southgate using other players to protect and do some more defensive job for Harry Maguire. He's a problem to any team and squad he's innit. Football really has evolved, every single defender should learn to defend for himself. He's no typical Manchester United defender, lack of pace he's got is a big drawback to United.

I knew it would be doomsday for Senegalese National Side, even with Sadio Mane, the quality and talents in this young English player's can't be matched by Senegalese really. At least they came this far. And I'm grateful I've been tesm Senegal till this moment.

Well, I reason it as well because of his experience in the world of football, although his absence did not have too much of an effect on the team during the group stage matches. In any competition, when it comes to the knockout stage, it is tougher than the group stage matches in which experience is required, and that is exactly what the England team has and helps them win the match, if not we can all see that Senegal played very well in the game, if Sadio Mane was present yesterday it could have been a different story I am sure.

Although I had so much confidence that Senegal would at least progress to the quarter finals but it turned out wrong. They played well but the Three Lions outclassed them in all areas. The English team proved that they were more formidable and well experienced. Sadio Mane would have added more power to the attack of the Lions of Teranga but its sad that injury sidelined him. The Senegalese Football Association should not sack coach Aliou Cissé because he didn't perform badly with his team. He should the given the opportunity to build a stronger team.

The recent round of sixteen matches have be won by more established teams. We have not seen any surprise from any lowly rated team. Morocco is the only African team that could raise the banner of the continent. Spain is the favorite but, it is possible to see a miracle today.

Not having Sadio Mané available at this World Cup was a big setback for Senegal. But I think they have still played well and shown a commendable performance. We all knew that they were not capable to win against England. But as you said, they did not choose any cheesy way to do anything. An excellent game in the end.

Spain vs. Morocco should be easy for Spain to win. Obviously, Spain is the better team coming into this match. But they should not underestimate Morocco. I believe Spain should be able to win this match, especially with the talented midfield that Spain has.

A big congratulations to Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Cameroon. Morocco is the only Africa country left. Even if this teams are not able to reach the finals,  their performance was not poor all through the match they played, they represented their country well in the world cup.

Senegal did their best, but it wasn't good enough, in addition to the injury that deprived some of their players from playing, some of their players were suspended from that game because of yellow cards they picked up before that game. Correct me, but I feel Cameroon would have done better had they been the team to play against England. Morocco can win against Spain if they do their best to avoid early goals that is always demoralizing especially for the weaker teams when they are scored. While  Big teams react to being scored by being motivated to play more, not so big teams can find it demoralizing and very frustrating like all the things they planned for the game for long, did not work.

I will go with @Docnaster here with his opinion of Spain this year not having the usual experienced team as we use to see them on most previous World Cups, if you say that they didn’t give their best on the match against Japan that’s not a reason because for few minutes when Costa Rica was winning against Germany, Spain was out of group stage if the score remained the same.
I believe Spain is just not strong enough this year and Morocco may have a great opportunity to win the match

Most African teams came to the World Cup with a first objective which is to pass the group stage. Then depends from nations, some will try to progress to the round of 8. After that things become very hard for them. Although many European nations have plenty of African players, like France, but African teams have a lower quality of players performance.. Walid Regragui is a graduate of the Badou Zaki Academy, In his match against Spain, I expect him to put up a defensive formation and play on counterattacks. Spain went down against one of the weakest teams in the tournament (Japan). So I would say that definitely there is a chance (irrespective of the betting odds). This match is going to be an emotional issue for both the teams as well (both the countries have tried to colonize each other in the past). Anyway, Morocco is the last remaining team from AFC/CAF having a chance to qualify to the QF stage. If they are defeated today, then the quarter-finals would feature teams solely from the CONMEBOL and UEFA confederations.

Yea, I already knew that Senegal will not see the next round, it was so obvious because the England attack is so difficult to handle by any team. I did also compare the strength of Spain to that of England and England was at the higher end.
The Spain team is a better team than Morocco, but if Morocco can pay attention to their defence and try not to conceive in the first half, Spain will be in trouble.
